My screen-name is pronounced "jess mer-uh-wet net-ten".

It's transliterated Ancient Egyptian for "I love you all".

My name is Nicole. People usually call me Nikki or Preggo these days (how original!).

I'll be 20 years old the day I hit 30 weeks (22 May!).

My boyfriend's name is Orin, he's 25.

We'll have been together a year come 19 June.

We're expecting our little girl at the end of July.

Her name is Aeon Elyse (pronounced Ay-on). We're super excited!

The pregnancy was a surprise, and though I was scared when I started to suspect it and for a day or two after the test came up positive, we've been really happy & eager for our little Aeon ever since!

I also have a fur-child (kitty) named Leonidas.

oh my goodness! We live in the same city! how funny is that! Where are you delivering? My parents live in east cobb so they bought me the dish today and are bringing it over tomorrow haha... it'll save money on gas since it would take me about 45 minutes just to get there from here. I'm very ready to have this baby since I -am- past due now. Yeah, I figure trying the Scalini's dish would be worth a try at this point. I don't feel like my body wants to naturally go into labor so -something- has got to work or I'm afraid the baby is going to get too big and I really don't want to induce because the contractions are so much more painful! We are delivering at North Fulton Regional...but if we were two weeks late we could deliver at the new Northside up here in Forsyth. I used to want to be that late - but forget it...not anymore!! Best of luck to you and I hope you don't go late like me! I'll guess we'll find out if the Scalini's dish works for me..

CanadianNat - Thursday, 24 July
haha...ya I can't wait a couple more weeks..you only have 8 days so I would probably not do it either..you get the actual baby in your arms really soon..much better I think!!

Tell your sister Noah is a super great name..

CanadianNat - Wednesday, 23 July
OH wow, how weird and cool would that be?!! Not that you probably want the baby to stay in another two weeks though huh? I've heard that it just happens suddenly to some ppl...one day they are closed and then the next..zooomm..wide open and ready for labor. Hope it goes well either way for you though.
AS for the names we have the name Helene picked out for a girl after my nanny who passed away a month before I got preggo. We have the names Keana Eve picked out as middle names but now I'm starting to rethink everything..lol.
AS for a boy we have the name Camdon Ty Noah picked..Camdon was the only name that me and my bf actually fully liked together so that one is sticking..lol.
I actually have a 3d ultrasound coming up on SAturday just to check out my bubs cuz the last time I got to see him/her was when I was 19 weeks! and I'm measuring ahead all the time so it kinda makes me wonder...

CanadianNat - Wednesday, 23 July
We are keeping the gender a surprise for the actual big day!! We feel like finding out then will make that time that much more special.
And yes, I definitely know what you mean about time going by fast!! This whole pregnancy has flown by rather quickly and I think that the rest of it will probably be like that as well. It's quite exciting!!
You must be soo excited/nervous? Only 8 days left? Crazyyyy....good luck!!!

CanadianNat - Wednesday, 23 July
 you look gorgeous!

cosmomama - Monday, 21 July
thank you for the message you sent me! It;s great to have support from everyone on here! I am sooo worried that my skin will forever be saggy and that my beach days are over! I live in Cali for pete sake! I need to feel comfortable at the beach with my baby, but I wont. I bought some Mederma and hear it works well, it may not be perfect, but I'm gonna give it a try. Problem is, it's $15 for .07 oz! and I need to use it EVERYWHERE! So it's going to be expensive to rid myself of this. I think it's unfair how a woman has to feel so bad about her body after having a baby, shame on society for expecting perfection. Anyways, thanks for the support and I hope we both have our babies soon and can strat the recovery process!

carolynjh - Saturday, 19 July
Don't worry too much, the stretch marks lighten, most of the weight will fly off if your breastfeeding, boobs might not sag, and you will most likely get back your shape like your sister because a lot of it all is genetic :) The first couple weeks are the hardest because wearing clothes is really awkward for a while. That's what we will all blog about after the babies come!

carolynjh - Saturday, 19 July
I know, it's funny when you find out the new bra size, you pick one up and think, this is huge and will never fit (nevermind how beautiful the huge bras are-yuck!), but then you try it on and are like "OMG I'm enormous!!!!" lol

carolynjh - Saturday, 19 July
I know what you mean about the bras, it is so hard to find the right size, and then once you do, no one sells them! Target Online has a lot of hard to find sizes. It seems size D starts at 36 all the time and DD starts at 38, I am a 36DD (once upon a time was a 36c) and I usually can only find them online. They say most people will go back to normal size after breastfeeding but a few get smaller and a few stay bigger. Mine were 36c before my first, ended up 36d, are now overflowing out of 36dd, i would like to go back to 36c one day!

Angiepangie - Saturday, 19 July
My breasts stayed a DD during my entire year of nursing my first son, but at the end of my pregnancy when I bought my nursing bras they were only a D! I am normally a C Cup. I had to go out and buy new ones...too small nursing bras leads to Mastitis(breast infection from clogged ducts). This time around I've only bought 1 bra just to get me through until my milk comes in, then I'll go get fitted for the rest afterwards.Everybody is different though, so you'll have to wait and see!

TxLatinaMommie - Thursday, 17 July
awww you look so cute mama!!

carolynjh - Thursday, 17 July
Yeah, I try to be optimistic about the stretch marks, but the newest ones are purple and it's freaking me out! I see you are in Cumming, my sis used to live there and I have a friend in Beaufort (sp?) I used to live 2 hours north of there in NC mtns, now i live on NC coast, but I really like that area :)

Angiepangie - Thursday, 17 July
You are so close to being done...don't bother wasting energy on worrying about your weight! Lots of ladies keep gaining...mostly water at this point...it is physically impossible to gain more than about 2 pounds of 'real weight' each week, unless you are eating unhealthy foods non-stop, and lying in bed! everything else is baby, fluid, and expanding tissue.

christydk - Thursday, 26 June
Thank you so much for replying, it's good to know there are others out there in the same boat. Good luck and keep me posted on any news you hear on the subject! Hope your pregnancy is going well, you look amazing.

congrats on the pregnancy ... hws it treated you??

kelleygirl08 - Saturday, 21 June
well actually he has been head down for the past month!!! So im not worried about him turning! lol.
I was talking more or less about when he is in the birth canal ready for arrival! lol

colby - Wednesday, 18 June
Oh these babies are in control now so who knows what's going on, I figured it was hiccups cuz when I first felt it I thought what is going on in there, lol.

tiffjoy - Wednesday, 18 June
No, it was definitely not hiccups!! My little guy gets those about 3 times a day and my entire stomach jumps. This was not even movement I could have felt, it just so happened I was sitting on the couch an was looking down, I just can't wait to hold him and really feel him!!!!!!

tiffjoy - Tuesday, 17 June
I had the same sensation a few weeks ago with my little one. He pushed his back way up on my stomach and I had a big bulge that was rising and falling. It was so freaky to see but at the same time amazing!!!!

colby - Tuesday, 17 June
I think what u are referring to is the baby hiccups as opposed to practicing breathing.

KittenAsACat - Sunday, 8 June
yeah its an awesome name for either gender. lol I didnt investigate enough before i left my comment lol...

we're naming our son Aryan Glenn, pronounced air-ee-an.
i've had a large mix of response on that lol..

KittenAsACat - Sunday, 8 June
Hey, was just looking at some profiles with the same due date as me. The ultrasound date showed me at july 31, but the LMP shows me at august 1st, but they rarely come on the exact date so you know, somewhere in there! anyways, just wanted to tell you I think the name you've chosen for your son is awesome! Congrats and Goodluck!!

musicis4thesoul - Friday, 6 June
yeah, ron paul kicks butt... but I have to say that i'm voting obama... ANYTHING to keep mccain from becoming president.
