The name is kriistiine i'm 20years old and i am pregnant with my 2nd! I already have one beautiful son named Devin Tristen who was born December 14, 2007 and he is my life. I am married to the best man in the world and the best dad. The 2nd pregnancy was soooo not planned at all but we are taking it as a blessing. We recently found out that it's a girl and she will be named Taliyah Elizabeth. Weren't expecting to have a girl we wanted another boy since we know how it is to raise one so far and hav EVERYTHING for a boy we just thought it'd be easier but deep down inside i always wanted it to be a girl and it is and we couldn't be happier! Any mommies to be that are due around the same time as me or just want to talk go ahead and send me a message! Congrats to you all and good luck to the others who are TTC! *baby dust*

I had a doctors apointment that day to see if i was dialated or effaced at all because they were thinking of inducing me. My apointment was for 3:30 that afternoon but we were in the middle or having a really bad snow storm so they were having patients come early or cancle apointments and i didnt wanna cancle i wanted to know if i was progressing at all so i went in at about 1 and waited a hour for the doctor cause he was stuck in traffic with the storm. He finally came and checked me and i was only 1.5cm and i was fully effaced! after he did the internal i felt a little weird and had bad cramping and when i got up to get dressed there was blood on the mat i asked what it was and he said it was because of the internal. He asked if i still wanted to be induced and i said yeah of course! he explained to me that it would be for monday because they have only 1 room available at the hospital for friday the 14th but they might call me to cancel if i took that day because someone else might come in that is in full blown labor and i wont get the room cause i'm gonna be induced but i took the chance and took the apointment for friday the 14th. I was so excited knowing that i'll have my son in my arms soon if everything goes planned for friday so i went home and i was having really badd pain and was bleeding. Around 5 that night i went to the bathroom cause i felt like i had to poop and nothing lol and realized that i was bleeding blood clots the size of a dime so i got scared and called the hospital and told me to come in asap cause they want to check me so im scared my fiance' is still at work were in the middle of a snow storm and im most likely going into labor! So i had to call my fiance at work and he wasnt there he had already left and he didnt have his cell on him so i had no way of calling him so i called his mom and thank god he stopped over there before he came home so i told her and she told him and he rushed and met me at the hospital. They admitted me around 6:30pm and i got that room that was suppose to be for me on the 14th lol so i was happy! They hooked me up did the IV and my doctor came and checked me and i was 2cm and he was gonna break my water but decided not to because he wanted me to pregress on my own which was good. At this point my contractions are about 3minutes apart but not as strong and i could handle the pain so i didnt need any medication. The next time she checked me 3 hours later i was 4cm so i was pregressing. She checked me again 3 1/2 hours later and i was still 4cm. I was 4cm for 9 hours and finally the doctor decided to break my water and put me on pitocin to get things going. After he broke my water i was contracting like crazy! off the charts so i got a shot i dont remember what it was called but it took the pain away for only a half hour and i slept for that half hour but once i woke up and the meds wore off i was in so much pain screaming and crying and i decided to get the epidural. The dr came fast to give me the epidural and it was quick less than 10minutes and i didnt feel anything so i was happy. Then 15 minutes after giving me the epidural something happen that i felt each and every contraction that i was having and it was so painful i called the nurse to call the doctor to come back in a see what was going on and to give me more pain meds and it took atlease 45 minutes to get the doctor into my room to give me more pain meds and when he finally came he gave me 3 more doses and after that i didnt feel a thing.. Then around 1030 the doctor came in to check me again and i was 7cm so they uped the pitocin to 33 and thats when everything happened so quick around 12:30 i was feeling a lot of pressure and had to call the nurse to come in and check me and when she did she told me that i was ready that the babys head was rite there almost out so i had to wait for my doctor to come and less than 15 minutes of pushing my son was born at 12:50pm!He was absoluty perfect! he came out with a full head of hair with his eyes wide open and he weighed 6lbs 14oz and was 19inches long he was so much bigger than i expected so in the end i didnt have to be induced which was great my little man wanted to come out all on his own! the whole 181/2 hours of labor was worth it once i saw him ♥
