I'm Lisa. We had been TTC since 2006. I have 2 great kids. We stopped using birth control to find that I have PCOS and was not ovulating. My OB started me on meds...and then we started Clomid in June of 07. I started metformin in Nov. Temping too. We took a break from clomid (the 6th round) and what do you know: I found out I was pregnant 2-25-08!!!!

UPDATE: I am high risk. I go in bi-weekly for cervical length checks (by ultrasound) and I have to be given P17 (by my wonderful hubby) Progestrone injections weekly, usually Friday nights, to prevent any pre-term labor, due to my history. Feel free to ask any questions you my have about TTC or pregnancy!! Nothing offends me, I promise. I have also developed SPD (it's when your pelvic bone seperates way before delivery).

EXPLAINING PROGESTRONE: There are two types, progestrone you take early in pregnancy to prevent miscarriage (if you have a history of them) and progestrone you inject later in pregnancy (week 16 or so thru week 34 or 36) to prevent preterm labor. I have never had a miscarriage and only use the P17 injects to prevent preterm labor.

Yes, I was very scared.
I went to the doctor's on the 12th. They did a scan and the tech said she saw boy parts! I'm excited, but she said it's not for sure. I go back in 2 weeks for a full scan and my doctor said I'll get a more accurate look! I cannot wait. I really do believe it's a boy!! (fingers crossed)

We wouldn't mind having either since we have 1 of each. Financially since I kept all of my son's clothing it would be easier to have a boy, but it would be just as nice to go out and buy new girly things...at this point I have no instinct as to what it is..maybe later on! All my prediction have said girl as well...it's a 50/50 chance!

well then that leads me to my next question. I was on progesterone as well to hold the little one and my doc took me off at 11 wks. He said I didn't need it anymore. I'm a little worried about it for obvious reasons but he said my levels were 63 and thats plenty. Still scared though!Any advice?

i know exactly how you feel after seeing the little it really put your mind at ease,well nothing much going here just waiting to see a bfp or a/f,she is due on the 21 but she came last month at cd42,so i really don't want to get my hopes up again,happy all is well and have fun at the beach,ttyl.

We go to Mechanicsville alot b/c I like the Target there, but they recently just built a Target on Staple Mill which is close to where we live. My hubby loves some seafood place over there, I forget the name. Yeah I started showing with my 2nd right at 8 wks. so I'm curious as to whether I'll show sooner than that...I've just been telling people I'm bloated b/c I want to wait until I see the dtr to start telling people!

I agree 40 pounds is a stretch I only weigh 110 know and Im 5'6 somtimes I feel guilty though when I dont have an appetite b/c I feel like I should be eating. My husband is constantly offering me food but right now nothing is appealing at all.lol

I hate humidity as well!! I heard the Women's Center was extremely nice! Yep, we live in Henrico Co., West End. I can't believe I'm pregnant either! It happened so fast! I don't feel any different other than being bloated. I can't wait to go the dtr. I hate gaining weight. I didn't gain that much w/either of my other pregnancies, but I hate seeing the scale go up, b/c I'm short and so I look like a whale even though it's not that much.

Thankyou so much it seems like it is going by so slow, maybe b/c I found out at 3 weeks. Ill be 6 weeks on Sunday and thats when my hyperemisis usually kicks in but who knows maybe this time could be different. So far I have been feeling good just really really tired and not much of an appetite. So how much weight have you gained? Did you say you finally gained your first pound?? Im a tiny thing too but I was told I needed to gain about 35-40 pounds during the pregnancy and I just dont see that happening. I want a big belly though when did you start showing? Well congrats and hope everything continues to go well.
