It's a boy!

5lbs 9oz, 18" long (birth story in blog)
I'm Lisa. We had been TTC since 2006. I have 2 great kids. We stopped using birth control to find that I have PCOS and was not ovulating. My OB started me on meds...and then we started Clomid in June of 07. I started metformin in Nov. Temping too. We took a break from clomid (the 6th round) and what do you know: I found out I was pregnant 2-25-08!!!!
UPDATE: I am high risk. I go in bi-weekly for cervical length checks (by ultrasound) and I have to be given P17 (by my wonderful hubby) Progestrone injections weekly, usually Friday nights, to prevent any pre-term labor, due to my history. Feel free to ask any questions you my have about TTC or pregnancy!! Nothing offends me, I promise. I have also developed SPD (it's when your pelvic bone seperates way before delivery).
EXPLAINING PROGESTRONE: There are two types, progestrone you take early in pregnancy to prevent miscarriage (if you have a history of them) and progestrone you inject later in pregnancy (week 16 or so thru week 34 or 36) to prevent preterm labor. I have never had a miscarriage and only use the P17 injects to prevent preterm labor.

I was reading all of the bulletins everyone posted and came across the one you posted regarding the weekly injections. I too have to have weekly injections for preterm labor. My first daughter was born at 22 weeks and weighed 1 lb. 6 oz. She is a healthy 10 year old now. Just wanted you to know you are not alone!

Yep!! I'm having a boy!!! I just got the the internet back on. Me and my fiance moved a week ago, and it took a week for them to hook up our cable and stuff. But, the lady that did my ultrasound said he weighs in at 9 oz. right now. The ultrasound was the neatest thing. We could see everything. Even his mouth opening and closing, his arms were moving around. My one friend told me to drink some pop with caffeine before going to the Dr.s so the baby would move more. He was definately active.

Dr. said if i didn't hear from him than it is good new and i have not since the test so hopefully still everything is okay!! I don't go back till the 26th though.. than after that i go every 2 weeks... that is what he told me...

Omg I love love love the thrift store too!! That's where I get most of Kaylee's stuff, the kid is 5 years old, has an 18 months waist and the legs of a size 6!! I can NEVER find clothes that she stays in (she's my little super model) -- and every time I buy her new clothes, they're destroyed within two washes thanks to daycare!! GRRR so I just started buying play clothes and what nto there bc it gets expensive - not to mention, all her growth spurts I have to keep up with! lol
I love Jaden!! We really really loved Aiden (since we've been married) and then all of a sudden last year, it rose to fame and everyone we knew or ran into had kids named Aiden --- so we nixed the idea and now we have NO idea what to name our kid! lol... I keep telling my dh that this kid will come home nameless!!!
We'll figure something. We only have middle names so far. I'm about 100% positive now it's a girl! Haha lol... we'll find out soon!!!I know what it's like to have a "dancers build" that's what I used to be until I got pregnant with my daughter and then after her my metabolism hasn't been the same -- I literally have to work hard to keep weight off and the first place it goes is my arms and thighs! GRRRR lol... I worked really hard from March 2007 to January 2008, I went from 147lbs to 116lbs (size 12 to size 4) -- haha but luckily I kept all my too big pants bc I can't zip let alone button a pair of 4's now UGH!!! Oh well... I just figured, if I did it once, I'll do it again! You know!?

I hate that!!My daughters name is Kaylee. I wanted another K-name like me, but I originally I wanted Kayla, but her middle name is Lynne after my ex's sister that passed away -- so Kayla Lynne sounded like there were too many La-la's in there. So we settled with Kaylee. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Jasa!!! That is adorable!! And it's original!! She won't be made fun of, the names these kids are given anymore -- they won't even notice!!
Gosh I still can't get over that you haven't gained a pound -
That just blows my mind!! I am seriously insanely jealous of you, haha As long as your baby is healthy, that's all that matters!! Lucky!! I completely understand you about the whole work and time thing. I'll be leaving in August. I work 30 minutes out of my way and its in the complete opposite direction of Kaylee's school --- so I have an hour of driving too.. ugh! With gas being $4/gal it's getting to be expensive. And Kaylee starts Kindergarten this Fall -- and it's half day. So I'd be spending $150/wk in daycare to keep her until her bus picks her up and then another $60/wk in gas to drive everywhere and that totals almost $600 a month! That's half my monthly pay!!!!! Its just not feasible! I'm going to stay home for a year or two, and then hopefully go back to work using my degree somewhere. Fingers crossed!

I haven't grown at all.
The only time my tummy popps out is after I eat. Then when I relief myself it goes back to normal. Before I got pregnant I was pretty physically active. Maybe that's a reason. I feel bad because people say "You're getting bigger" That's the way I look after I ate. dannii - Tuesday, 3 June
