Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Friday, 12 September Try getting one of those moist heat humidifier. Unless the baby is obviously ill, they don't do much at the pediatrician except for tell you to keep them comfy. And as long as they are eating, pooping, and still playing a bit, everything is fine. It's just a little bug. I went threw that a lot with my first. It was horrible when he got the flu. Ewww... Someone told me to get a humidifier and it works great. I even got a cool air one for my room. Just turn it on a couple hours before you put her to bed and leave the door about maybe a foot open. The humidifier makes the room moist, and it will work perfect. It will keep her airways moist so in the morning she will be doing a lot better. I hear a lot of people giving their babies the saline solution and they say that their babies aren't getting better. But if you think about it. That solution would agitate anyone's nose if you put it up there long enough. Hope she gets better. phonics -
Friday, 12 September Where did you get the lettering from for her wall? phonics -
Friday, 12 September My baby has a cold. She has had it for a week. She is getting better, but slowly. It is starting to break up. They do not know how to breath from their mouths yet so it is very scary. I am hoping she won't be as cogested on Monday.
Ask the doctor first nad foremost. They can give ehr a prescription, but not much since she is so young.
We got a warm mist humidifier and it works wonders helping her t obreath at night. Just clean it everyday to keep it from molding which is why some people say dont use them. If not a humidifier put her in a bathroom w ith hte hot shower on and steam for like 2 minutes. or hold her head near a pot of boiling water. it will clear her out a bit.
use saline drops and the nose bulb to get mucas out. this does not work well for us, but is all some people need.
Now you might think this is gross like me, but she was VERY bad a few days ago and we were both worried so Rod thought...what would an animal do? he took his mouth and sucked the mucas out of her nose.
She was breathing like a champ afterwards. I thought it was g ross, but the next day she could not breath and he was not there. I tried to get her t obreath through her mouth, but couldn't. Well if it comes to sucking nad spitting out snot or watching my baby not breath what do you think I wouldchoose? So I tried. I couldn't do it because she is freakishly strong nad was fighting me, but she did it with such gusto that she cleared her own nose. veroki -
Friday, 12 September ive read you should postpone vaccinations if your child is under the weather, you should call ahead and ask the doctor because shes sick. why making a baby who is not feeling well feel worse? they get so cranky and my daughter developed a fever 24 hours after her injections, maybe you can just bring her in to get checked out today and then reschedule her shots. tracylouella -
Friday, 12 September Just be patient. My Chloe has been sick for a week now and she went 48 hours with NO sleep, not more than 5 mins at a time here and there. She also was not eating. She wasn't cranky at all either, just wouldnt sleep. The past few nights and days she has done nothing but sleep but has been cranky while awake... unless daddy is talking to her. So its hard to have them sick. Elevate her crib mattress so she can breathe bettter, you know how it changed when you are up to when you lay down. They still sell infants Tylonel COLD over the counter at drug stores, I'd give her some so she can feel a lilltle bit better. Give her ltos of hugs and kisses and hold her close... she will get better but the 2 weeks they are sick are the longest of their lives! Its hard and it sucks... just be patient! If it wasn't for my hubby that 48 hours of no sleep I would have gone insane!!! kesi143 -
Friday, 12 September I am sorry your little one isn't feeling well. I took Rian for his 2 month check up yesterday and he has been sleeping off and on (more on) since 7p.m. He had his shots at 5 p.m. So if anything your little one should get some good sleep which should help her feel better. Do you have a warm mist vaporizer? I have heard that really helps with congestion. kesi143 -
Friday, 12 September Hey, I still have not made it to get stamps yet. I am going back to work on Sunday and there seems to be so much to do. Funny how a simple thing like getting stamps is now a big ordeal. I just wanted to let you know I haven't forgotten. I will get it to you as soon as I can. Thanks again! kesi143 -

Sunday, 7 September We're using Similac Advance with Early Shield. It started off and seemed fine but lately I don't know what's going on. I hate to see her in pain but I don't know if it's the food or if she's maybe just getting colic. I REALLY hope not. shortcake-1976 -
Sunday, 7 September We've been using the mylicon the past couple of days...still not doing well. I can FEEL the bubbles in her poor tummy. Thinking we may need to call and ask about changing formula but I don't know. phonics -
Saturday, 6 September We got the saline and I think it is brillant! Thanks.
