Hello ladies! It's about time I finally join you gals. Well here's a bit bout myslef. My name its Elianna and I'm 23 years old, I live in New York City and this is my second pregnancy. Unfortunately my first pregnancy ended up being an ectopic pregnancy back in June of 2007, it was a very stressful,sad and long procedure, but thankfully I found out I was preganant again in December 2007. My first trimester I must say was complete HELL! lots of scares and sickness. My morning sickness took the best of me, I lost all my apetite and energy, I couldn't keep anything up and ended up going to the hospital to get 3 bags of IV because of my dehydration. I got anemia and I was basically a vegetable in my bed for 3 months, which became very depressing! :( Thankfully it all has gotten much better. I am able to eat and keep my food down, my energy its back, i'm happy once again and glad I can now enjoy my pregnancy. I am due August 28th, 2008 and my next appt. its March 27th that's when I'll be able to find out the gender!! Thank you all for taking time to read my lil' info, hope to hear more from ya'll!! Well tomorrow its my 2nd level ultrasound, I will be turning 18 weeks! Hopefully everything its good, I `m very excited cause they should be able to find out the sex. On the other hand I `ve been feeling really good, my apetite its back in a full force, my hair its sheding but my tummy its getting hairy! ewww I don `t get it!!Friday, 28 Mar
Today I had my 2nd level ultrasound, unfortunately I found out my baby had a lil cyst on her brain. I was told not to worry about it because all my test had came out very low risk, and everything on the baby looks really normal. I was also told if I wanted to I could get an amnio test but she doesnt recommend it bc the risk its very low. I `m feeling a lil better now that ive read more ab these cyst and how they can disappear after 24 weeks or even later, and if not babys can still be born with it and be perfectly normal and healthy babies. So i pray to God and have all the faith in the world that my lil girl will be ok!

Well...I'm 23 wks everything looks good so far, renovating my whole apartment, its looking great, makes me feel good to see progress! In the other hand its SPRING which means allergy season! ahhh I'm hating it, Its non stop sneezing, itchy watery eyes,having a hard time breathing because of it! So I have another 2nd level U/S on Friday, Im excited to see my baby girl again, but im so nervous cuz Im gonna find out if the cyst she had on her brain left, hopefully it has!! :)

Hey, I'm so there with you on the junk food....I feel so bad, but I cant seem to help it...Not so much fast food...but definitely loving ice cream, doritos, chocolate chip cookies, and stuff like that....your a beautiful mommy to be. Congrats on the baby girl.

I have been so busy. I had final exams this week, so I havent had much of a life. Your new pic is soooo cute. You look good, still skinny everywhere but the belly, ha ha! How have you been, I feel like I have so much to catch up on with you girls!

I'm really allergic to cats too! That sucks, because I love cats! I have 2, but they are outdoor cats. We were doing pregnancy exercises last night, which meant getting on the floor with carpet! Yuck!

It will not be to much to take both. I like the Natelle Plus prenatal. It included two pills. The prenatal and the fatty 3 folic acid. On top of that I take Fayette's it's a iron vitamin. I know where I live you have to ask the pharmacy for it.

Elianna, check with your Dr, but I believe that folic acid is water soluble and any extra will just be flushed out of your system. I don't think you can take too much. Also, my prescription prenatals are called Prenate DHA, and they are a liquid-filled capsule with a bit of a vanilla flavor to them. They don't make me sick at all.

thats actually very late...usually they are held in the 7th month so you have time to go threw everything, get organized and have time to purchase the items you need/want that you did not receive. Also...its supposed to be a surprise! Why do you know about it??

back pain advice. You might be having sciatic nerve pain, but check with your doctor and tell him or her your symptoms. DO NOT lay on that side, the pressure will only make it worse. I have the same feelings by the way. But it has calmed down a bit, try to stay off your feet if you are on them a lot. And most important of all, relax :) and enjoy this pregnancy. But I would suggest calling your doc if you are in a lot of pain. Docs are there for a reason, heck you pay them enough! :)

Hello! I work in a medical facility and used to do medical records. It is less of a hassle for you if the doctor you are switching to could get the records for you. One dr doesn't charge another dr a fee or give them and hassle to send medical records over. GOOD LUCK!

Well that's me 19 weeks then...NOT!!! It's a controversial subject...lol....I reckon I'm due 31/8 but the scan bumped me forward by a week....this happened with both my boys too and my dates would have been right....I know that the scan is very accurate...just not in my case because I have elephant sized babies....and now my holiday dated are stuffed cos the doc sez no flyin after week 30....my hol was meant to be after that...so if we went with my dates it would be fine...GRRRRR! but I will work something out....Have you managed to relax a bit since your scan yesterday? xx

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that they found 2 cysts on my baby's brain around 18 weeks. I had the Level 2 U/S and decided to have an amnio. He is perfectly fine and by the time I got my results back, one of the cysts was gone. So, don't worry, after so much research on my part, as long as that is all there is with no other problems they usually go away. I have another Level 2 on April 18 and hope the other is gone then as well. But, since I had the amnio I know he is fine. Good luck to you!!

Eli, I just read your post about the cyst and if it makes you feel any better, I saw this a couple of times at the office I worked at and both times the cyst ended up disappearing. So congrats on the girl and try not to worry too much!!
