Up to this point, we have had a nuchal translucency measurement of 4 mm, which is not very good, but after that we had our level 2 ultrasound and thank God, everything was PERFECT! That and we got to find out we have a little girl, who we have named Madeline Grace. We're expecting the results of our quad screen soon, so we're praying that goes well, too. Luck & prayers to all...

YES!!!! We got our quad screen results today and NEGATIVE for everything. Thank God. He's been so good. Looks like that original NT measurement might have been a fluke after all ;)

So I just went to the OB yesterday & found out that my odds are down to 2%!!! It `s funny, some women on here are freaking out about 1/2975 odds and I `m celebrating because mine are down to 1/50. Yay! God is good :)

Are you excited about the birth, or scared? Excited... no fear here! I `ve been through it once and the pain was not as bad as I thought it would be.. and they say the second time is easier. Here`s for hoping :)

Madeline is doing SO GREAT! She moves all the time & I even think she gets the hiccups... it `s so adorable! I love her already.

I had an ultrasound today and Madeline is exactly 30 weeks and 4 pounds! I also passed my glucose test, so that`s great too :) Only bad thing is, the cyst on my ovary has gotten to be 7 cm, so hopefully that won`t be a problem....

Just found out today that my last day of work is going to be April 18th.. yay!! 3 full weeks to go...

If you think it's too soon to induce telll your dr you aren't comfortable with that. By the way I like the song you put on your page "somewhere over the rainbow"..My hubby and his mom danced to it at our wedding. He cryed.

umm, yes! i certainly do get swollen ankles at the end of the day! i too am a teacher and it is getting harder and harder to be standing all day long! plus my back is so sore when i get home from work. how long are you going to try and work for? i'm aiming for the week before my baby's due, but we'll see how that goes! it's just getting more and more uncomfortable! good luck to you:)

Yes! Just went for an u/s monday and at 30 weeks my girl was at 3 lbs 13 oz. I was worried too b/c this is about two weeks ahead of the norm, but the doc didn't seem concerned. Look at the bright side - the bigger the baby when they're born, the healthier they usually are. I think it's a good thing and a sign our babies are getting good nourishment. Good luck to you!

Hello Elizabeth...dont worry so much about the big baby girl...You are built for it...beautiful hips.They are a healthy weight. My son was 10lbs 4oz and the doctors are anticipating another whopper so they are inducing me April 24th.Fingers crossed..lol.

I went for an ultrasound about a week and half ago and my baby boy was 3 pounds 5 ounces. They are predicting him to be about 8 pounds!!! Better to be a little big than too small though. Ouch for us though!! lol

Teaching elementary school is time consuming... and it does get pretty old having the same students ALL day long. But, I know you have a difficult job in high school, too. I'm not sure what state you are in, but they are really shoving testing down our throats here.

My pregnancy has been great. I haven't had morning sickness or any complication so far. I just really started 'popping out' in the last week or so. My husband said I have doubled in size since last week. How are things going with you so far?

Thanks. Not quite in week 20 yet :( i went for my first scan last week but i was a few days behind what i thought, am nearly 20 weeks along though few more days lol :) Been good so far though after morning sickness went away :)

Wow! You must be pretty smart in order to teach high school chemistry. I teach elementary because it's more on my level! Ha! Ha! My only suggestion is to try to keep your cool. I'm just trying to stay calm when I get upset at school.

Don't worry...I have gained 21 lbs. so far and knowing that there will be more to come is dreadful. I feel like a cow but I have been SO hungry the past few weeks! My thighs and butt are disgusting. I wish I could be one of the lucky ones who just gains in the belly!

I have a hit that's kind of gross. I was told to try to push down on your 'v' opening to help with stretching. It worked for me with my first and I didn't have to get cut to pull the baby out. Hope that helps. Take Care

Congrats on your pregnancy! I noticed you had a question on how people feel about epidurals. I work at a hospital pharmacy and make epidurals on a routine basis. So for my side of things, I'm all for it! Hook me up that is all I know! If you hear of any hints on labor help maybe you can send me those hints! It's my first little guy and I'm a little freaked out about the end situation. Congrats and happy pregnancy!
