Oh, wow, congrats!!! That's so funny that our stories were so similar! So did you end up doing the c-section, even though he came early? Turns out that I didn't really even need the c-section, but that's ok -- I believe everything happens for a reason, and for whatever reason, she needed to be delivered by c-section. She's healthy & happy, and that's all I care about! Plus she didn't have a conehead! :) Hope you & your little one are doing very well!

Thanks so much for your message. I've really needed to hear some positive stories about c-sections! I've been really nervous about it, and I've had some people be supportive, and others try and talk me out of it. I'm nervous, but it sounds like it goes fairly quick & then we get the best gift of all at the end! I agree, it'll be important to try and recouperate as quickly as possible. I tend to heal quickly from things, so hopefully that'll be the case w/ this too. I will definitely try and push myself to get better quickly. I only get 12 wks off of work, and I want the majority of that to involve me being active w/ the baby, so I'll definitely have motivation to get up & moving quickly. Thanks again. Oh, and mine will likely be 6/6 too!

I think it's the florida heat. I don't eat a lot of salt and I try to drink at least 10-16 glasses of water a day. It's just so hot down here. I started taking cool baths at night. I think I may just go get a pedicure for the massage. That may help a little.

I'm going to be scheduled for a c-section next week as well.. kinda scary since this is my first kiddo, and I really wanted to attempt a vaginal birth!

Congrats on getting your date today! I am also going to be delivering on June 6th! I'm being induced a week early b/c my other kids were all very big babies. So, they are trying to keep the birth weight under 9 lbs this time! I'm really excited & will be thinking that I'm not the only one! Yeah!

I love the brown and pink/ brown and blue combos. I never really thought i would like it but when I saw a stroller with those colors I was sold! You should post pics when you get those rooms done i would love to check them out!

I can't wait to breathe!! I haven't really had much heartburn for some reason. Little bit of throat-puke-burn but it's not often. I'm carrying high as well but I don't get it in the ribs as much since my top down baby has his/her feet in my side. Not nice when laying on my right. Did you just wake up and *plunk*? how did it all happen?

Haha, isn't it so nice? my sister inlaw and brother gave me all their baby boy clothes up to 9 months. It was such a relief! How do you really know when your baby drops? I carry VERY low...like extremely and everyone thinks I dropped but I didn't because this is how it's always been!

OMG! I feel you on the gas prices! I have a Cheverlot Malibu and it is not really practical having our third child, but it's paid off and in good shape and the gas mileage isn't bad, so we're hanging onto it as long as we can! We are gonna make room for baby!! Literally!
