SO you're giving in...I find it so much easier to know - but I guess they could always be wrong...that would be terrible! I'd have a little boy in dresses lol. The name thing I thought would be really hard but turns out we were just rattling off names we liked and BOOM...I said how about Samantha - and he was like yep...that's it...little Sammie! It was MUCH easier than I had expected. If it were a boy on the other hand...it may have been harder, I dunno. Maybe we'll see next time :) Anyway, have a wonderful weekend and enjoy picking out names - remember to make it easy enough to yell LOL.

So your worry is finally going to come to an end huh? Of course you're nervous, you're a worried mom! I guess it only begins here, LOL. I found a bedding set that I really like and bought. Its little bunnies with pink and purple and some green. Its so cute, and thats what I'm sticking with. Of course with that said, its a little girl. Samantha Rae. I can't wait to see her! Not even halfway there yet and I want her out. LOL Talk to you soon! Remember - Happy days are comin'! :)

hi, thanks for the message. it is good to hear that you are out and about. why were you staying in anyway? your description conjures up a nice picture of life over there. it is 37 degrees here today. we went to a market and it was so hot. i went out for dinner last night with a bunch of women from the toy library as it is closing down and it was a farewell dinner thing. it was quite fun but i am over going out at night. you never did tell me when your results were coming..... stay as busy as you can and throw yourself into whatever you are doing as it makes time go quicker. and get into art projects, they also speed time up. what do you do over there for work?
I guess it is good to experience life in another country but it is also great to be comfortable in your own environment at home with lots of people you know. I would love to stay in touch if you do move here. Might go and have a swim now, take care and write soon

Well, a least you had a restful week off. Back to reality huh? Well in a few days you will know how everything went and I'm sure your baby will be just PERFECT. I'm well and baby shopping like a maniac. Starting a scrapbook too! I have to put all those ultrasound pictures somewhere! My husband is working on the nursery and we are waiting for the plaster to dry so we can paint! I keep changing the colors on him though lol. He's so patient. Well, I'll talk to you soon and I hope that phone rings soon for you!!!!

how are you today again? I went to the doctors and found out that my due date is moved forward a week, so looking at the 13th September. Is everything alright with you? When do you get your results?

Hi! I just saw your post from a while back in the 'advance age' forum about the DS chance. I gather from your page that you had an amnio done so I guess you will know for sure in a few weeks. I just wanted to drop a line to let you know that I am 35, had similar results as you for DS (but my doctor did not think much of it given that 1/200 or 1/300 is basically the base for over 35) and in case it can help, I speak french (I am French Canadian)...And know that they have a great health care system in France! Anyway, just drop a line if you feel like chatting or need help with the french!

by the way, just reading some of your previous messages, my ultrasound at 12 weeks looked fine for the last baby. I have to say I dont trust them at all. Please write soon x

I just know I'll be writing a great response to you as well! And why may I ask... did they do an amnio if there was nothing abnormal on the ultrasound? Hang in there and enjoy your week off! I could certainly use one! ttys!

Hi! Thanks for the info! I am happy yours went well. I am sure the results will be great, I'll pray for you anyway though. Surgery is a completely different thing when its on someone you love or yourself. I can watch it on stangers all day long, short needles(no long ones) all of it is no problem. On me ugh! No way, I get totally freaked out. I won't be able to see any of the instruments or I will lose it. I'll just be brave and close my eyes until its finished. I opted not to have any of the scary blood screens or folds measured I just went straight to the amnio for accurate results. If anything came up fishy they would do one anyway. My appt for it is April 18th. I guess you can get some preliminary results in in 48hrs Good luck and keep me posted!!! Take care!!
