About Us:
My husband and I are high school sweethearts! We have been together since I was a freshmen and he was a sophmore. After being together for 3 months we knew that we were going to get married (I know, I know... silly teenagers!) We were both Navy Brats and though I told him ABSOLUTELY NOT to join the Navy he did it anyway. I cant complain though because I am oh so proud of my husband. He joined September 2005 and we were married December 31 2005 (I was still in high school and he was in South Carolina for school). My Husband is a nuclear engineer and I am so proud of him. After a couple years in South Carolina were came back to Virginia and Brian is now stationed on a submarine. We have two furry babies, Bravo (a german Shepherd) and Harley (a pug).
Our Pregnancy Journeys:
We tried for over a year to get pregnant but after Brian returned from a 6 month deployment and after only 1 cycle we became pregnant with our very first baby. We could not have been more happy. We were jerked around by doctors in the early weeks so I only saw the baby quickly in the ER at 6 weeks when I had a UTI. At our first ob appointment we were told the baby had died. I was almost 13 weeks. After a week of monitering my hormone levels I had a D&C. Brian could not be with me because we were closing on our first home... bittesweet day for the Stewart's. It was a very hard process and maybe I still have not delt with all the feelings. I had a regular cycle in September and became pregnant again. That baby also died and was passed naturally at 7 weeks. I again had a regular cycle in December and we got our next BFP in January. After 12 seemingly blissful weeks and seeing a heart beat at 6 weeks and again at 7 weeks we lost our Third baby 18 March 09. It appears the baby died a few weeks ago and started to deteriorate and only looked about 8 weeks old. My doctor was fantastic and seemed to be just as hurt as we were and pulled many strings to get me a D&C same day. I got pregnant again, first AF after D&C and lost baby number 4 naturally at 6 weeks and 4 days on 08 June 09.
Yet again we are starting over. We have now lost 4 babies consecutivly. Since baby number 3 I have had a great Dr who has run any and all tests (blood clotting, thyroid, hormone, HSG... all normal!) for me with no results. He seems just as disapointed as I am to not have an answer. He has also vowed to be there for every other pregnancy that I have and even says that he will some day be the one delivering our first baby. Brian has been deployed for the last 5 months so I have had ample recovery time since last m/c so hopefully that will give us a leg up on baby number 5! I feel confident that we will some day have our little one and that all of this has just been preparation to make me the prefect Mommy. I feel so thankful to have my husband who is absolutely the most wonderful man in the world and the past few months have just proved how perfect he truely is. I also feel so thankful to have the support of everyone on here. You guys are my saving grace and I honestly do not know where I would be with out you all. Thank you so much for being here for me and being so wonderful. May we all get our BFP's and our happy healthy full term babies!
