I had been told that I couldn't have children so the arrival of my first son was a complete surprise! I had my first son shortly after I was married, I was 21. My (now ex) husband and I decided to try for another child sooner rather than later as we expected it could take a long time before I fell pregnant again. But instead I fell pregnant really quickly. (I now don't believe what the Doctors said at all). I had another beautiful boy.

A few years after my ex-husband and I split up I met my best friend and soul mate.

He has 5 and a bit children from two previous marriages, 3 boys and 3 girls. I say a bit as his first wife had a son before he met her. But we still count him very much as apart of our family.

I found I was expecting our 1^st child only a month after we had started dating. We were very happy as we felt it was a great way for all our children to feel connected to each other. He has been a bundle of energy since they day he arrived.

Now, completely unplanned, I have just discovered that I’m expecting another baby.

I feel like I'm on a rollercoaster of emotions as we had decided that we had more than enough children. Having said that it was my (better) other half who had asked recently if I would like a girl? But I felt with the number of boys that I have, that my chances are very, very slim. So again we decided not to have anymore children.

I honestly couldn't tell you where this pregnancy has come from. All I know is that it has been very determined to be here..

I'm Struggling for baby names, I can't get that baby namer thing to work it keeps setting it's self to privet So I'm gona just put a few up when think of them. It would be great if everyone could let me know what they think?

I'm sorry your other half is gonna be away at the worst time possible! I'd be tempted to lock the door & hide the key! Lol

I don't know about you but i've got to that point where every damn movement hurts & to make matters worse it doesn't seem to keep still for 1 second at the moment. I feel like i can't possibly streatch any more than i already have & at any given time it could burst straight through my stomach. I've felt great up until this last week or 2 but now i'm really looking forward to the end. As far as i'm concerned this last 7/8 weeks can't go fast enough!

My mum bought my cot for me yesterday & i've got just about everything i need now so i finally feel ready at least. My other 2 came about a week early so i'm hoping & praying that this 1 will too! Watch it bloody come late now i've said that! Lol
I have definately stopped enjoying my pregnancy!

Thank u, well I actually had my baby shower on my birthday lol...but it was fun, and the week before me and my bf just went to the beach, so it was nice

hiya, feeling ok. We have our appointment with fertility doc on thursday 21st to get all results and see where we go from here. I don't think this month will be our lucky month either as hubby has been really busy just lately. Will let you know on thursday what's happening

Thankyou, we really did enjoy it. Actually it was only really the night before we were due to come home that i missed my husband. I couldn't wait to get home but the rest of the week was so action packed that i didn't really get time to miss him. It went by so fast. I think next year i might try 10 days (unless this Belgium holiday comes off as i doubt i'll be able to manage both).

It sounds like you all had a good time with your mum even if you did have to have eyes in the back of your head. The joys of being a mum eh!!

Can't believe how close it is to our due dates now. I don't know about you but it seems to have gone by really fast!! Especially the 2nd half.

I still need a few bits for the baby but nothing major. Have you got absolutely everything now?

I never told you before by the way but i love your girls name Poppy. It's very sweet. I toyed with the name Lucy but eventually decided on Isobel. Of the boys names i like William as that's what i've chosen but i do also like Rhys.

Hello. I got back from my holls on weds night. We really had a great time.

To be honest i didn't even really feel all that pregnant while i was there! Any aches & pains seemed to miraculously vanish as soon as i arrived.The weather was absolutely great. I'd been worried that it might be too hot for me but i coped much better than i expected!

The morning of the day that i went i had a phone call from the doctor telling me that i had to go pick up a prescription for some iron tablets because i was anaemic. To be honest i had suspected for quite some time that i might be as i never seemed to have any energy. I think that taking them while i was away really helped. I felt better then i had done for ages!

Without them i think i'd have probably slept the week through!! Lol

I even dared to wear a bikini while i was there. I felt a bit conscious on the 1st day but then just thought 'sod it'! Nobody here knows me so why the hell not.
I did make sure that nobody i was with got any photos of me in it though. Didn't wanna scare anybody back home! Lol
