I had been told that I couldn't have children so the arrival of my first son was a complete surprise! I had my first son shortly after I was married, I was 21. My (now ex) husband and I decided to try for another child sooner rather than later as we expected it could take a long time before I fell pregnant again. But instead I fell pregnant really quickly. (I now don't believe what the Doctors said at all). I had another beautiful boy.

A few years after my ex-husband and I split up I met my best friend and soul mate.

He has 5 and a bit children from two previous marriages, 3 boys and 3 girls. I say a bit as his first wife had a son before he met her. But we still count him very much as apart of our family.

I found I was expecting our 1^st child only a month after we had started dating. We were very happy as we felt it was a great way for all our children to feel connected to each other. He has been a bundle of energy since they day he arrived.

Now, completely unplanned, I have just discovered that I’m expecting another baby.

I feel like I'm on a rollercoaster of emotions as we had decided that we had more than enough children. Having said that it was my (better) other half who had asked recently if I would like a girl? But I felt with the number of boys that I have, that my chances are very, very slim. So again we decided not to have anymore children.

I honestly couldn't tell you where this pregnancy has come from. All I know is that it has been very determined to be here..

I'm Struggling for baby names, I can't get that baby namer thing to work it keeps setting it's self to privet So I'm gona just put a few up when think of them. It would be great if everyone could let me know what they think?

yeah.. i wish he didnt wake me up at seven in the morning for no reason!

You think it is my stomach muscle tht is holding up? i hope so bcs i was feeling a bit unsecure about the baby's health. i thought i wasnt eating enough but i eat the whole day! So how are you feeling? how is the mil treating you? well hope you are ok. Take care.

I'm the same as you. My baby is due on the exact day Joseph was due 15th oct. He actually came on the 10th & my daughter came a week early so i have a strong feeling that this one'll come slightly early too & spoil any birthday plans we make but my son says not bothered. In fact he's hoping that it'll come on his birthday as he thinks it would be a good present. He's really excited about all this as is Jessica.

Touch wood, the symphesis pubis thing isn't too bad for me at the moment. It's at it's worst during the night making it really hard to turn over & i have to admit that it's been lingering a little in the mornings just lately but not for too long. I can't sit with my legs curled round on the settee & if i've been sat still for a long time i get that SNAP when i try to stand & walk. I seem to remember it being worse then this at this point in my last pregnancy though. Then again i've still got a while to go so i'm not out of the woods yet am i!!

I'm not surprised you both slept well after all that! I only have to walk a bit farther then the end of the street & i'm out of breath!

Had to take my daughter to the dentist yesterday. It was awful. She had to have the roots of a tooth that had broken off removed. I could see it was really hurting her. Her little legs were squirming about & there was nothing i could do but let them finish. I was more relieved then her i think when it was all over! Lol

We were worried because the last time she had a local anaesthetic her lip swole up 3times it's usual size. We were never quite sure if it was a reaction or just down to her chewing her lip while it was numb but luckily it must have been the latter because it didn't happen this time.

Good job as it's her birthday on thurs & she'd have looked awful for her party! It's my hubbys birthday on fri so it's a pretty eventful week for us this week. Jess' actual party is on sat. Can't wait. All those screaming kids running about. Oh, the joys of being a mum!

Well she did say that she wasn't absolutely 100% certain or anything as of course she's not a midwife & said it's easy to mis-interpret what you see on the screen which i know is true (although it was a very clear picture) but i still wish she'd kept her mouth shut & just hadn't mentioned to me that she'd even looked in the first place.

With my 1st baby, my mum came with me. That time i did want to know the sex & my mum started shouting "it's a boy, it's a boy" & in fact it was but the thing she was assuming to be his penis actually turned out to be the umbilical cord!! Lol

I'm sorry your morning sickness is still bothering you by the way. I've been really lucky. For about the 1st 3mths with each pregnancy i've had the sicky, dizzy feeling & sometimes it's lasted all day but i wasn't actually sick. It must be miserable!

No, i won't have any more scans now. Not unless there's any kind of problem which fingers crossed there won't be!

I'm almost convinced that i'm having a boy. I took my cousin with me to my 20wk scan. I made it very clear to her & to the woman who was doing it that i didn't want to know the sex & that i wanted her to look away when they had to look anywhere in that region but she confessed to me afterwards that she HAD been looking! When i said that because of a vivid dream i'd had i was leaning more towards it being a boy she said 'yeah, i think it's a boy too'. Thats as good as actually telling me! Then she said that she didn't know for certain as scans are kinda hard to make out but everytime i've mentioned to anyone since that i think it may be a boy she's had a knowing grin on her face.

I honestly don't mind what sex this baby is but i just really didn't want to know until i've given birth to it. If she couldn't resist looking fair enough but why did she have to tell me so. She should've just kept it to her self. Now even though she still says she's not certain i feel as though she's spoiled my surprise & taken something away from me.

I really regret taking her. It's been nagging at me ever since. Sorry for going on & on but i needed someone to moan to! Lol

What is it with MIL's??? It's funny because I never got on with my ex's mum when I had my first daughter, she was a right pain in the behind and always sticking her nose in!! Then when Georgia was born she would take her out in her pram to show her off to all her friends (which is fair enough), but then as soon as she was a year old she lost all interest! She only lived around the corner and would probably only see her about 3 times in a year and that was because my ex took Georgia to her!!..then she would keep going on about when we would give her another grandchild, and I kept thinking what the hell for, you dont even see the one you have got! Lucky for me I haven't had to meet my partners mum because she lives in New Zealand!! lol, i'm sure she is lovely really, but ive got no problem with the distance!!!

I get over emotional about silly little things all the time, I cry at adverts on the tv sometimes!! Ive not been too bad with this pregnancy but I was terrible with Georgia, everybody used to get on my nerves for no reason and I was a right moody cow at work, nobody dared come near me! lol ....oh the joys of pregnancy, I can't believe how fast its all going and i'll be 6 months in a week and 2 days!!!. I hope this message finds you well xxxx

no he didn't give me any other advice. But he didn't mention PCOS so hopefully that a good sign. He did say that abdominal gases can sometimes effect what ultrasound can see and that could be why he didn't find right ovary

Hi again. Just had a look at your scan pics. They're lovely. They've come out quite clear to say that you've just photographed them! Your earlier scan pics make me lean more towards a girl but now if i had to hazard a guess i'd probably say you were having a boy! Guess we'll just have to wait & see!!
They must have cost you a fortune by the way. I had to pay �3 per picture. Is it the same where you are?

My pelvic ultrasound was today. He had to do both outside and internal. He said my ovaries are high up. He could only find my left ovary - but did say that it had follicles on it. Just need to wait till next month to get the dye&xray thing and have my progesterone blood test again in couple of weeks.
