OUR LITTLE BUNDLE OF JOY HAS ARRIVED, JULY 10, 2008 AT 1:00AM!

WE ARE THE HAPPIEST PARENTS, EVER. MY LIFE HAS BEEN QUITE CRAZY THESE PAST FEW WEEKS BUT IT'S ALL SO WORTH IT. I NEVER IMAGINED I COULD LIVE ON POWER NAPS AND 2-3 HOURS OF SLEEP! LOL. LUCKILY MY SON IS THE BEST LITTLE GUY EVER AND CURRENTLY ONLY CRIES IF HE NEEDS SOMETHING... I CONSIDER MYSELF LUCKY!! I HOPE THIS CONTINUES. BEING A NEW MOM AGAIN IS SOMETHING ELSE AND MUCH MORE WORK THAN I REMEMBERED BUT I LOVE MY LITTLE HUNNY. I WOULD DO IT TEN TIMES AGAIN FOR HIM. WE HAVE TRULY BEEN BLESSED.

I know what you mean about being overwhelmed by all the stuff and I haven't even had my showers yet! My mom has bought all kinds of clothes and little stuff and I don't know where to begin. I am going to try to start setting up his closet this weekend. It's pointless for me to do too much until after the showers. I put together a swing this past weekend though and it takes up so much space! I really don't know where all of it will go! It'll be fun to go exchange your stuff and get what you still need. I bet you are feeling a lot more ready now!

The cat dream is crazy! I had that dream pretty early in my pregnancy and I woke up and it took everything in me not to cry. Then when I told my husband, he made fun of me. The next day I was here at work and he kept sending pictures of cats asking me if it looked like our baby cat. In my dream, I couldn't remember the delivery at all and I was in my room and I asked to see my baby and the nurse brought this white cat and put it on the bed and I was so mad that she would do that only to find that was what I had.....

Hi, saw that you said you were measuring a week ahead. I found out on Wednesday I'm suddenly measuring 3 weeks ahead. My doctor told me to come back in a week for a U/S. Did yours tell you to make a follow up appt? I am wondering (and sort of hoping) that they will change my due date.

well their is not court order he just pays and thats it she threat him to take him to court but never does it so other than us just sending childsupport we really dont get to see especailly now that hes moved out of the state we that what she hasnt learned he put the kids first but she want to put her own feeling first plus she tell him hes not doin his job if he doesnt send presents for hoildays or birthday do yall send childsupport plus gifts? thanks for ur advice it seems as if no ones else has this problem and i appriate ur help

My SIL called me today and I told her about it. She asked me what I needed for the baby or myself. I told her I did have a registry, but not anymore. I mentioned to her that my parents were going to buy the bedding, but it got too expensive( they're in a different state) Anyway, she said to look for the bedding online and let her know what I find, and she and her husband will buy that. I am glad because money is tight and so far, my husband and I have been buying everything. I am going to look on Target online and places where I know it wont be too expensive.

Thanks for the advice. She has kept using the excuse that since I am dilated already and my cervix is soft, that I shouldn't have a shower. That people can just bring me stuff at the hospital. What made me upset is that she has said she was going to plan it since January and my husband kept asking if she was sure because if not, my sister in law wanted to plan one. Well a few weeks ago she said she was going to mail the invitations which I printed and she never picked up. Thank God for my sister.

I think all together I registered for like 80 things. Seems like a lot but it gives people options on what to buy. Plus whatever is left on the babies r us they give you a 10% completion coupon to use. Its better to have too much.

Your room looks great!! It was worth hiring the friend. He did a really good job. Love the chair rail. I cant wait to decorate. Keep posting pics of updates when you do get more stuff in the room. I will do the same. I am glad we are at the same place. It makes me feel on track and not behind!

I put up 2 pics of the nursery walls on my photo page. We still plan on painting some clouds. The room is a mess since we are getting carpet on THURS!! YAY! I cannot wait because afterwards I can set up my nursery!! I love the walls though. Chip did an amazing job

oh i am sorry honey - i have stated that i am not this little girls mother so don't expect me to act like it. this baby that i am carrying is my first priority. SO, with that said, i am making this summer about me and my baby girl.

ok, mine is huge!! but i put a lot of small things too because i wanted everyone to be able to find something in their budget and have options. i have 2.. the one at babies r us is # 70373445. and the one at Burlington's baby depot is # 11562223. Hope it helps!

oh i do, i do!! my step daughter is here 5 dys out of 7! she thinks she owns me. i have had a terrible time. her father is incredibly passive/ aggressive, so i am the bad guy. this is my 4th baby (6yr hiatus w/ last one) and i don't want to share this baby w/ anyone! i have waited a long time for her and i want her to myself. this little girl has a mother that is basically "tits up" and leaves me to pick up the mothering slack. when dsd (darling step daughter) gets back from her mothers, she is out of control rude and disrespectful. i am the one who does everything for this child and gets 0 reward. write me if you wish to commiserate together. good luck...jenn
