My husband and I have had a whirlwind of a year. We got engaged Jan 15th 2007, married June 30th 2007, and pregnant in November 2007. I would say that was my most eventful year so far!!! My husband was married at a very young age and divorced in 2001 and already has 3 boys, 13, 10 and 8yrs old. They also have a half brother that we keep most of the time. Needless to say everyone is pushing for this to be a girl!! I gained a lot of weight when I got married and I actually bought nutrisystem to lose it all about 10 days before I found out I was pregnant. Oops. That is a lot of money sitting in my kitchen. Needless to say, my clothes were already tight and so now I am about to run out of clothes and I am only 9 weeks pregnant!!! The only symptom I have had is being HUNGRY all of the time. That doesn't help. Oh well - I feel blessed to be pregnant for the first time and I can't wait to have this little one in my arms! Feb 14th

Well - I will be 14 weeks tomorrow. I am still eating all of the time but hopefully that will calm daown soon. It better because I am wearing maternity pants already today and most people down't start that for awhile I think. I have been feeling a little sick this week and have had a headache the whole time. My step sons are at the beach this weekend visiting with their grandparents so hopefully I will get some rest. My husband and I are getting so excited about the little one but not finding out what I am having is killing him. We go back to the doctor in 2 or 3 weeks for the blood test to check for Downs and Spinabifida. My sister has Spinabifida so I am a little nervous for that one. Wish me luck! I hope everyone out there is doing well!

April 3rd

I can't believe how fast everything is going. I will be 21 weeks tomorrow. My AFP results came back and everything was great. I also had my ultrasound last Friday and it was AMAZING to see the little one moving around in there. We did not find out what we were having which was hard. I think the surprise will be worth it in the end though. I still haven't felt any movements yet though but I am sure I will start to feel them in the next week or so. I should get a new due date next week when I go back to the OB. I am hoping that they will move my due date up a little. It would be great to give birth on 08-08-08!
