I am so happy I found this website! It looks like everyone is really supportive and it is great to talk to people who honestly understand you. I am so excited to start chatting!

6-13-2008: 9dpo: Well hopefully this is not a Friday the 13th trick but because I have been crampy, moody and achy (bbs and body) I decided there is no harm in trying a First Response 5 days sooner HPT..well a second faint line appeared everyone!!! Can you believe this!? I cant! I am in shock and shaking!!!! I am going to take another one Sunday morning and surprise DH with a daddy card for Father's Day and wrap up the HPT for him to be surprised with!!! I am crying but need to stop because DH should be home soon! AHHHH Thank you EVERYONE for the prayers and baby dust. It worked!!!

6-15-08: 11 dpo: Happy Father's Day! I took another HPT this morning and the line was much darker than the other two days I took it. This is a good sign! Yay! I told DH and he was so shocked. I dont think he expected it to happen this soon. He said he is so excited and cant wait. Yay! I cant wait to see the heartbeat and see the little baby growing inside of me. We are not going to tell anyone yet. We are going to wait as long as we can to make sure everything is good. Thanks everyone for the kind words!!

Of course it would be easier knowing the sex, you could buy clothes, and deocrate the room accordingly blah blah blah! But, I think that knowing the sex and then picking the name before baby is born leaves all the questions answered...aside from what that baby looks like and how much they weigh (which no one cares about anyway)! I think too when you know what it is, most people go crazy ordering a pink/blue car seat, and pack and play, swing, boppie, all that stuff is gender specific, well what happens when you have your next baby and it's the opposite sex???? Haha! I think not knowing keeps you in a neutral state of mind when you are buying all that stuff...that will it will be useful for all of your kids! This one friend I have is having a baby girl soon, and everyone already knows her name, and her ENTIRE room is PINK! I feel sorry for her next one if it's a boy! haha! Even a pink bathtub! I am imagining picking 1 or 2 names for a boy and girl, going to the hospital and then when it comes time to announce the news...not only will it be a huge suprise to us, but we will be able to tell our family and friends not only the boring stats info (wieght, length, time of birth) but more inportnatly if it was boy/girl and it's name. THat is my arguement to all these ppl that are harassing me about keeping them in suspense! haha! The only kind of downside is the clothes factor. BUT babies grow so fast, that you have to buy them new clothes constantly! Plus I got kind of lucky...my cousin had a boy this past Jan so I can get all of his hand me downs if it is a boy and of course there are a million pieces of baby girl clothes floating around my husbands side with all the girls! My mom is throwing me a shower b4 baby and then my sister in laws are throwing me one after the baby comes so they can all buy clothes! haha!

Yes, the pie stained the carpet, BUT we are getting new carpet b4 baby anyways bc gunner has destroyed it!!!! It's horriable! I have been wanting to send him away to the pound! NO PATIENCE for him at ALL! He is horriable, and still not potty trained!

I get so tired of eating! IT's like, oh man, I need food again! I runout of healthy stuff to eat! I am thirsty too al LOT and started putting lemons in my water, it helps to flavor it a little. Water is ususally my drink of choice, but now that I am sonsuming it so much, I get burned out easliy of it too! And of course I want to drink iced tea, and I don't bc I want to try and stay away from caffine! It's funny how you always wnat what you can't have! I have wierd feelings down there too. Not sure what it is...but part of me doesn't want to know! haha

Can you believe I'm still throwing up!!! Sooo over it! We had our 12 week u/s yesterday (adorable!) but we don't get another until 20 weeks...which is when we'll find out the sex!! (If the baby cooperates!)

That is great that you can wear jeans to work! I am thinking that will come in real handy! I am trying to find a job being a classroom aide until Feb. NOt easy to find a temporary job...but I will find something. I can't sit at home, I will get bored! So you and Nick may not find out?! It's so hard, but I think it will be worth it! SO far the 2 prediction things I have done online say diff things. One says girl one says boy! GO check out the chinese birth calendar to see what you are having! It tells me girl!You should fit into your dress just fine!

Bell follows me around from room to room and is VERY clingy. She is also being very bad with the barking. My one friend had this ver lazy bulldog, and while she was pg he was ROTTEN to her. He would trip her, pull her on walks, and sometimes just lay down inthe middle of the walk and not get up! I can't believe that Oaks did that! Bell did something bad the other day...she has not gone counter surfing for the longest time and last weekend she got a blueberry pie off the counter and played with it on the carpet then ate it! GUnner does something bad everyday still, so it's expeced from him~ Did he chew that stuff while you were gone? Dogs ruin a lot of stuff, it's terriable!

I am feeling better, just ususally a little sick feeling at night, but def better than the beginning! I need to be having snacks a lot, or else I get super hungry! Are you that way?

You know it's wierd how diff ppl's bodies act as far as when they show! My pants still fit, waiting a couple more weeks until I go to my sister in laws to pick up her maternity clothes I am borrowing! I am not real sure what she has, but I am sure it's cute stuff! I am excited to wear new clothes! I feel like when I go into my closet, I have nothing to wear, and it has nothing to do with the fact that I am pg! I always feel like that! I think that my stuff will probably fir me for another month, maybe a little less. I am at 14 weeks tomorrow, so not to shabby for getting a belly! I will tell you why I have a belly, bc my baby is going to weigh 10 pounds! haha! Gregg weighed almost 10 when he was born! I was 7.2, a nice size! SO at your next ultra sound do you get to find out the sex? I am excited to see what you are having! I may have found some furniture for the baby's room. A lady has a 5 piece set for sale for $500. Not a bad price for something gently used! I am going to check it out, we are super picky about what we like as far as any decorations for the house go! So are you thinking that you are going to be able to fit into your bridesmaid dress? The wedding is at the end of sept? when is your last fitting? you will for sure be showing by then and better be careful if your dress is tight and you try to bust a move on the dance floor! haha!

Ok, that's all little mommy to be! Oh yeah, one more thing, I think that my Bell (my oldest Boxer) knows I am pg...they say that dogs can sense that kind of thing!
