So today I am 15 weeks and 4 days pregnant, and have finally decided to write on my profile!

To cut a long story short, I (eventually!) married my childhood sweetheart last July. We decided to start trying for a baby when we had been married for 6 months (Jan 08) and we conceived in Febuary!! :) We feel very blessed that it happened how it did.

On 28-04-2008 we had our 12 week scan, at 12 weeks and 3 days. It was amazing!!!!!!!! We had had a scan before at 6 weeks as I had some cramping and spotting, and it was literally just a heartbeat, so it was amazing to see baby ricicles development!

We have our 16 week midwife appointment coming up next week, and our 20 week scan on 27-06-2008 at 21 weeks.

Big excitement is that we have decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary with a 3d scan! Yay! All booked and cant wait to go for it....25-07-2008 at 25 weeks.

Ive tired so hard not to buy baby things but now I cant resist....!!!!!!!!

Who was the first peson u told?: My hubby obviously, as he was there!! Then my parents

How did they react?: He was extremely happy and a little in awe!

How did the daddy react?: With excitement!

Are they helping with baby names?: NO! Heck no. Thats our call!

Have they bought anything for the baby yet?: Yeah, my mum bought a changing mat and some clothes and moses basket! We've bought loads - spreading the cost!

When was ur first appointment?: Booking in appointment at 8 weeks

When is ur due date?:November 07th

How far along r u?: 23 weeks and 4 days

Pre-pregnancy weight?: Secret! :)

Weight now?: A few pounds more, but not too many!

Have u had an unltrasound?: Yes - two!

Have u heard the heartbeat?: Yes! We have a doppler and listen to it most days!

What was the heartbeat?: 150bpm

What do u want?: A healthy baby!

What does the daddy want?: He thought it was a girl, but we know now!

What do u think u r having?: Boy! Always did!

Have u had ur big ultrasound yet?: Yeah - we only have 2 here, 12 weeks and 20 weeks. But having private 4d scan on 25-07

If so, what r u having?: A beautiful baby boy

Are u happy with what u r having?: Over the moon!!!

-About the birth!

Do u know what u r taking with u?: Yes - the usual stuff!

Who is going to be with u?: My husband! Its a special time for us to share

Are u going to videotape it?: Nope - no-one needs to see that!!

Natural or medicated?: Hoping for natural, and in water, but we'll see!

Do u think u will need a c-section?: I hope not.

Will u cry with u hold ur baby for the first time?:Probably!

Do u know what u will say to the baby when u first hold him/her?: Probably "hello baby" or something equally cheesy!

Are u scared about the labor?: No! The only thing im worried about is tearing and stitches! And if i had to have a c-section id be scared by that.

Do u have a name picked out?: Yes - but we arent telling!!!

Girl names...: Would have been Ava, Sophia, Sophie, Ciara or Chloe

Boy names...: Jacob, Isaac, Ethan, Noah or Josh. Those were our five - we know now but telling no-one!

Is ur baby going to be named after someone? No, but second name will be William which is significant - my dad and grandad, neils grandad, neils middle name and my bro's middle name!

Have you felt the baby move?: Yes - and I love it!

Do you have stretch marks?: A few little ones on my side. Lets hope they stay little!

Who will the god mommy be?: Hmmm - maybe my brothers gf

What is the baby's room theme?: 'Fun at the Zoo' theme - mothercare

What was the first thing u bought for the baby?: A little outfit for coming home from hospital.

Are u ready to be a mommy?: Yes!! I'm so excited!! I literally cannot wait!!
