Hey!! I'm Emma,
Been with Scott since Sep 2006,
met him when we worked together nearly 4 years ago and were best buddies since!
We bought our first place together June 07.
I came off the pill in September 2007 and gave my cycle 2 months to get into a rhythm. and in march and april we had a 'ttc break' to avoid an xmas bub.
This is our 8th month of trying....
My cycles have been up the creak some what:
Jan - Af on 26th (cycle length 28 days)
Feb - Af on 29th (cycle length 34 days)
March - Af on 30th (cycle length 30 days)
April -
May - Af on 3rd (cycle length 34 days)
June - Af on 1st (cycle length 29 days)
July - Af on 4th (cycle length 33 days)
August - Af on 4th (cycle length 31 days)
August - Af on 31st (cycle length 27 days) - shortest cycle ever
August 31st - cd 1: Well that little ovulation ticker was wrong. this is my shortest cycle ever of 27 days. i've never had 2 cycles in 1 month. And it's only 13 days ago i got the positive ovulation test :-( oh well, onto next month with the opk and awaiting the appoitment from the london hospital.

ok so just an update for everyone. I was waitin to m/c and was only having light bleeding. almmost none, but the cramos were unbareable. the only clotting i had was the size of a dime maybe. i tried not to worry, i thought it would happen soon. but then when i went to the bathroom and i wiped i had this foul odor. and the ONLY thing i have ever smelled that smelled like that was an infection in someone. later that night i starting running a fever, having chills/hot flashes, and cramping really bad. so i went to the ER. the dr did a pelvic just to check things out and she asked if i had smelled a weird odor. i said yeah and she said that i had a lot of in there. so she did some blood work and my white cell came back high so she called my dr. he told her to admit me and start antibiotiics so they could schedule D&C for the next day (Tuesday). this was like 3 am Monday. so i got the d&C. the whole time though that i was in the hospital i felt so sick. I was flipping on them b.c they wouldnt give me something for nausea. they were giving me stuff, but you could only take it so often. (4 hours). anyway, now i am home from the hospital and I still feel like crap. i feel fine from the d&c but i spent all night throwing up and am still feeling like i am going to throw up again. ughhh. so just in case you are wondering how i am doing, theres my update.
p.s.~ the reason for the infection was because i had apparently started to m/c naturally, but then everything just stopped after a little while. go figure.

my cycles have ranged from 28-42 days! No opk's yet, they're pretty pricey! Please let me know how this month treats you! Yes, keep yourself occupied and the 2ww will fly by!! Baby dust to you!

I'm doing okay, except for the sciatic nerve pain I am experiencing. I had a massage done on Saturday, which helped a bit. Today, I have an appointment with the chiropractor so we will see how that goes. Overall, I am doing well, though. Thanks for askin'!

I'm sorry to hear that! Keep your head up. From what I've been reading, I hear that artificial insemenation is a good way to go for low sperm counts as well. Keep me updated, I'll be praying and thinking of you and DH!!!

Hi! My DH also gave his swimmers today, this is the second time we had to do it bec the first time it looked like he had some kind of bacteria but the gyn said it could be bec he was ill or had some sauna in the last 4 weeks (which he did ). We get to have today's result in 5 weeks (thats when I have my next appoint) but i am keeping my fingers crossed that we get preg before that. Dont worry everything will be allright for you too. yes they are!!! Let me know how bf's swimmers are. DH finally got his to the dr's hence my 2nd appointment on monday at the RE. you did start on your opk's...have you been ovulating? were they easy to use? How much were they?

CD33, took hpt on cd 31 and another BFN! My cycles have been soo long lately and it's getting on my nerves because I don't know when I'm ovulating. I guess I could go buy that darn OPK we were talking about but I'm lazy. I have my 2nd infertility appointment this coming Mon so I'll just wait it out and see what the docs have in store for me...how are you doing? Your cycles been treating you ok? XO
