Been with Scott since Sep 2006,
met him when we worked together nearly 4 years ago and were best buddies since!
We bought our first place together June 07.

I came off the pill in September 2007 and gave my cycle 2 months to get into a rhythm. and in march and april we had a 'ttc break' to avoid an xmas bub.

So this is our 7th month of trying.

My cycles have been up the creak some what:

Jan - Af on 26th (cycle length 28 days)
Feb - Af on 29th (cycle length 34 days)
March - Af on 30th (cycle length 30 days)
April -
May - Af on 3rd (cycle length 34 days)
June - Af on 1st (cycle length 29 days)
July - Af on 4th (cycle length 33 days)
August - Af on 4th (cycle length 31 days)

August 4th - cd 1: that last 2ww was a long one, when i logged on here i just felt awful and no hope on anything! Its so strange because when i was on the pill i was paranoid i may fall unexpectably so i use to use condoms as well as the pill!!

how typical is that???

Well poor scott has broke a bone in his hand - so he's plastered cast up to the elbow and got 6 weeks off work, so theres no reason for being tired etc when it comes to bd this month lol!

me and scott talked and decided that the opk are too expensive to keep buying every cycle, and when we were in the doctors on friday with scotts hand, i noticed a sign saying that patients are welcome to have a pre-conceptual talk with the doctors at the surgery.

its been a year in next month since i came off the pill - and all ive had is bfn and unpredictable cycles!!! it so strange not havin any control over your body. we don't know what were doing wrong so we could do with some advice etc.

August 5th - cd 2 : af is a complety b**** this month, real heavy and crampy. sorry for the tmi!!

we had to re-arrange the doctors appointment to thursday 7th as we overslept this morning (been so tired and exhusted latley, work has been real heavy and shattering) we had to go shopping today as we're attending a weddin on saturday and scott needed a new tie to match my top im wearing, so we went and got that and i needed my eyebrows done - desperatly lol! so i got those done too - and before we knew it we were running late so i phoned the doctors and re-arranged for thursday. annoying because im actually looking forward to going to see them and talking about our situation. i've wrote down all my cycles since coming off the apill so they can see just how varied they're being. so i'll update on thursday xx

August 7th - cd 4: Ok, just came back from the doctors. He was really helpful and looked at my cycles that i'd wrote down of the past 10 months. Asked questions etc. I last had blood taken in April and those results were all fine. So he wants scott to do a sperm sample and then to go back once those results are in.
Gonna do the sample on monday as you need to leave 2-3 days of not producing any (if u know wat i mean lol) for the sample to be decent enough.
Im not sure how long it'll take for the sample to be tested and results back to my doctor. and were staying at a friends in london tuesday and wednesdy - so we'll prob phone thurs to see if theyre back and if so - go and see them again then.
until then - once af stops of course - bk to bding every other day to once in every 3 days...oh and im gonna buy a thermometer for this cycle too. xx

August 8th - cd 5: So we looked on ebay and found REALLY cheap opk!!! i mean there litterally pennies!! why oh why have i been forking out so much!!??!!
So ive ordered 20 opks and a thermometer - im going to start checking my temps this cycle.
Its our friends wedding tomorrow which im really excited about!!!! me and scott like to co-ordinate when we go out lol...sad i know... so ive got a black suit with a lemon shirt and scott is wearing a black shirt and trousers with a lemon tie... we love clothes!! i'll try and get some piccies on here..... xx

August 13th - cd 10: Well, we've got an appointment at the doctors tomorrow for the results of scotts swimmers anaylsis. my opk and thermometer have arrived so i'll start using the thermometer in the mornings and the opk from saturday. The weather is pants here, really bad rain and windy. feels like winter not the middle of summer!!

August 14th - cd 11: not good news im afraid. my bf's got a low count. so he is being referred to a specialist - appointment is in 2 weeks. So we'll go to that and see what they say. If they can't help at all then our gp will refer us both to a ob/gyn. Nothing is ever simple for us....

August 18th - cd 15: YAY!!! I've been using my opk i got from ebay since cd 13. (we've bd yesterday) and so far they've been completly negative - not even a faint line in the test window...nout....nil pau...zilch......but today i've got a real strong positive!!! i almost wanna take a pic of it im so happy! :-)
At least somethings working right so we can pinpoint the days to do the all important bd'in!! No ewcm yet, but the positive opk means i'm due to ovulate in the next 24-36 hours so i'll expect the ewcm to make an appearance shortly!
I'm sooo excited! for some reason i had a horrible thought that i don't ovulate each month - its so nice to be reassured with that little 2 pink line test strip!!
No one's gonna see much of me or scott over the next couple of days!! hehe! xx

August 20th - cd 17/1dpo: So according to that little ovulation ticker above i am due my next af on 3rd September - which would make this cycle a 31 day cycle. lets see if its right! ....
