Is this your first pregnancy: Yep!
When did you find out you were pregnant: March 21st.... Good Friday!
Was it planned: Not planned, but not prevented either....
What was your first reaction: I gasped...slapped my hand over my mouth and said "Oh My God!".. then I went back to drying the dishes... in much shock and disbelief. lol
Who was with you when you found out: My husband.. and my 3 beagle babies
Who was the first person you told: My mom
How did your parents react: My mom cried and said "Are you kidding me?" (about 5 times... lol) then she said, "Oh my baby!" ..... my dad chuckled and said "It's about time!"
How far along are you: 10 wks 4 days
What was your first symptoms: I just assumed that I was going to have the most wicked AF in months because my boobs were killing me, they felt heavy.... I was cramping for about 2 weeks, I could not sleep at night, but was falling asleep in the middle of the afternoon, and I was eating the crap out of anything that was a carb or even looked like a carb! HA! A week after no AF... I got a positive test!!
What is your due date: November 20th (My 30th Birthday.. talk about giving me the best birthday ever! I am no longer dreading this day.
Do you know the sex of the baby: Not for another 2 1/2 months or so, but my husband insists it's a boy... go figure, it's gotta be a man thing.
If so, what is it: ????
Have you picked out names?: Yes, mine are good... and my husband's suck! :-)
If so, what are they: I'll let ya know once we know for sure.
How much weight have you gained: Enough to make me start taking my butt to work out at the YMCA again.. I've been lazy all winter long. I'm taking it easy, but it needs to be done.
Do you have stretch marks: Not from the baby.... not yet anyway.
Have you felt the baby move: Nope, still too soon.
Have you heard the heartbeat: Not yet, but I hope to on my next visit.... May 9th.
About The Birth:
Will you keep the baby: Yes... unless it looks like my husband... in which case that little one is going right back in the ol' womb! LOL .... J/K .... Of course I will love my big headed baby no matter what!
Home or hospital birth: Definitely hospital... and let me tell you, their birthing center is freaking' sweet. Heated bathroom floors, whirlpool tub, wooden furniture (not cold/metal looking), flat screen TV, mini fridge, stereo system... and the clincher for my husband... FREE Slurpee machine! :-)~
Natural or medicated birth: I will attempt to go natural, but I make no promises... a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.
Who will be in the delivery room with you: My husband and hopefully my mom... if she can make the 500 mile trip up here in time.
Will you breastfeed: As long as I am physically able to... Absolutely.. without a doubt.
Do you think you'll need a c-section: God I hope not... I want to do it the old school way
Will you cry when you hold the baby for the first time: I'd bet money on it.
What's the first thing you might say to him/her: "Hi my baby.... I love you!"
Would you let someone videotape the birth? From the waist up... yes... cause I have no interest in having someone man a "crotch cam!" HA!
Are you excited about the birth, or scared: Both..... but at this point, I think I'm a smidge more scared than excited

Howdie hot-sexy-mommy!
I tell you Eric, when I called for the rest results and they put me on hold, those were the LONGEST 5 seconds of my life. When the nurse told me: "Everything's great, everything's normal" I got goosebumps on my arms (so nerve-wrecking this darn things!) But I'm so happy now.
Men are completely CLUELESS. They have no clue that at moments like these we need the most STRESS-FREE environment ever; yet they still manage to mess up a tiny thing like a phone message......what are we to do, huh??!!!
No kidding?? These so-called "3 pounds" really do feel like TEN (10) whopping ones :( But as you, I will not complaint and enjoy it, because this bad boy is not getting any smaller :D People can tell from a mile away that I'm pregnant, but it's because I've always been of such a tiny frame that this belly is popping out and everybody notices.
I'm sleeping great. Have you felt it move yet? I've felt little somethings and I'm certain it's the baby. Nothing too significant, but I've felt some flutters.
I'm feeling a little weird being intimate with my guy, because I feel this huge gut in the way. He's so good at making me feel so wanted and sexy, but I'm just so self-concious. An advice?

yea we had a nice daddy's day, i did all his favorites for him cuz he insisted i dont get him anything cuz he is not 'techincally' a dad yet...but we had fun, then we went our seperate ways to spend time w/ our dads...was fun.... lol yea had to change the name, i felt like i was living a lie! lol

Is your husband on student loans, because if he is they might give you guys more per semester if you and the baby are his dependents? I don't know how things work down there.
It would be nice if you could stay home for a while. But I guess the insurence is a big issue. How does hubby feel about the situation? If you could come up with a plan that makes you both happy, that would be good.
If it seems hard for you to go back to work now, it will be even harder when your holding your baby. It really is counterintuative to leave your baby in the hands of another, but sometimes we have no other option and there are some really good childcare situations out there.
If you do need daycare, the eariler you find the right place the better you'll feel.
There are two places in Canada that are amazing, the east coast and the west coast. I went to university in Victoria, on Vancouver island, on the west coast. Now I live about 5 hours inland, but still in BC. I guess if you drive 5 hours in any direction in the States you end up about three states over! The provinces in Canada are huge. Just to drive across BC takes 14 hours!
Nova Scotia is the big city on the east coast. Matt and I have considered moving there because the cost of housing is about 1/2. Some houses are like $40,000! Can you imagine: I'd like that place- I don't need finacing just charge it to my credit card!
PEI is to Halifax as Vancouver island is to Vancouver. I haven't been there either but will go one day. When I find that money tree

Thanks my hips are pretty much the same. But some days are much better than others. All long as I don't do heaps of walking I can get through. All day shopping trips are OUT !! Hopefully I'll get to see a chiro this week.
I had my scan but it didn't really go to plan. They only did a very quick scan because they said I wasn't far enough along to look at everything ( even though I came in right when they told me to!!!) I did find out that my dates are right on, and baby looks fine. Didn't find out gender though
. the sono lady was in too much of a hurry. Anyway, I am rescheduled for 19weeks. I can find out then. How are you going? Hope you are not too sore. kytti - Saturday, 14 June

I have to work all weekend and I am not looking forward to it! I'm sick of working weekends; it's been 8 freaking years! I need a new job. I'm glad your pregnancy is going well; werealmost half way there. These babies are going to be born right around the holidays and thats cool. My daughter was born the day after Thanksgiving. She'll be 8 this year. She is so worried that the baby will come on her b-day and I told her not to worry becsause I'm due before the 24th, besides I had her 2 1/2 weeks early and my son 3 1/2 weeks early. hey how are you feeling? i am having trouble with my sinuses. i have been worried about not feeling my baby move. while i am on here coughing my behind off i must be disturbing her bacause i felt about 6 or 7 little squirms in about 15 minutes. do you feel any movement yet? i am getting excited about my upcoming u/s on june 24th

We are pretty lucky up here in Canada. Everyone gets 1 year maternity leave at 60% or 6 months for Mom and 6 months for Dad. My mom lives in Palm Springs and with the housing crash there I said to her last time I was down, "should we move here?" b/c I miss her (ok I could use her help with the kids and a night out with my husband would do wonders for the guy who constantly complains where his sexy, fun wife went), and she says "no way", the medical down there is way to expensive. My mom is worried about losing her med. in retirement and is saving to pay for her plan herself, while in Canada a family of 4+ is always $108 per month, and of course most employers toss that in for you. Extended benefits covers the rest.
I really feel for you though, "out on that corner trying to make a buck". I was in university when my son was born and didn't get any mat. leave. Like you I was back at it after 8 weeks.
You'll make it work. Do you have a good daycare lined up?

Hey mama! I'm so happy that you didn't have to take medication. Sometimes docs try to go with the flow, thinking that everything will be alright, but our instincts never let us down. I too had those tests done on June 2; I called for the results Thursday afternoon and so far everything is perfectly normal. YEAH!!! WOOH! HOOH! LOL!!!
You won't believe it, but I also gained 3 pounds. We're on the same wave link :D
Yes baby! Sex of the baby coming SOON and you KNOW IT! I am going to be soooooo in there with all the other mommies-to-be telling the world about the baby's sex.

yea i keep thinkin bout the baby shower....it is goin to be so much fun... that's too funny bout the body pillow i feel like crazy gypsy lady cuz i have 5 pillows on my bed n make a fort out of them to sleep with, my bf gets annoyed too lol, he sleeps w/ one flat pillow idk how he does it!
so guess what? i felt a flutter yesterday!!! it was so cool i cant wait for it to happen again, right below my belly button n it felt like lil air bubbles but i def. know it was gas lol it was sooo cool

Hi, I just got back from my appt and everything is going good! The babys h/r is in the 150s and I am measuring on target. My big ultrasound date is June 27th and I'm ssoooooo excited! I can't wait! I have been feeling the baby move a whole lot and thats awesome!! I am so happy. Tom the kids get out of school and I guess we'll be at the pool alot this summer. How are you? When is your next appt and ultrasound?

No, I'm not getting alot of down time, since my husband isn't around to help much (always working). I have to do all the cleaning, laundry, cooking and caring for our 2 other kids basically by myself. I'm so stressed out. Oh yeah, on top of working my stupid part time job(16 hrs a week). I'm aggravated! I don't really know what relaxing is. Wish I did. I don't really have any friends to lean on either, since I fell out with mt former bff. Tom is my 16 week appt and I should get my scan date then; I'm excited about that. I think I need a big cry cuz I'm so stressed. My hubby thinks he's the only one who works hard.

Yeah, I am with you all the way on the glider thing... if you are the one feeding it every couple of hours throughout the night you need a comfortable chair!!
Sadly I have to wait a little longer for my shower, it is July 13th. :-) I got the invitations this weekend though so I can give them out next week which is exciting! I need to stop sneaking a peek at my registry to see if anything has been bought!

Sorry I haven't got back to you in awhile, we have been pretty busy with our move. But, we are pretty much settled in to our new house now, and loving it! I can't wait to start filling the baby's room!
So, I officially began wearing maternity clothes! They are so much more comfortable than my regular clothes, obviously, and they're not too hideous, either. It just feels good to wear something different. For awhile there, I was wearing the same stuff over and over because it was the only stuff that fit. I'm still not outwardly showing yet (I guess I had some extra room in my tummy to begin with) but it's definitely feeling rounder and firmer down there these days. I am honestly looking forward to being obviously pregnant, although I'll probably regret saying that in a few months!
So, I am 17 weeks now, and I cannot wait for the 20 week U/S! We are getting anxious to find out the sex, so we can narrow down the name choices. Just e few weeks away!
How've you been? Are you showing? That sleeper sounds pretty cute! So, he's convinced it's a boy, huh? I have had three dreams now that I'm having a boy, so I'm pretty convinced myself, but my in-laws, for whatever reason, think it's a girl. OK, I gotta go get ready for work. Talk to you soon!
