This is their idea of a plus size figure! HA! I wish I looked this good, but it's as close as

I could get to how I look. :-)

pregnancy week by week

My profile

About Your Pregnancy:

Is this your first pregnancy: Yep!

When did you find out you were pregnant: March 21st.... Good Friday!

Was it planned: Not planned, but not prevented either....

What was your first reaction: I gasped...slapped my hand over my mouth and said "Oh My God!".. then I went back to drying the dishes... in much shock and disbelief. lol

Who was with you when you found out: My husband.. and my 3 beagle babies

Who was the first person you told: My mom

How did your parents react: My mom cried and said "Are you kidding me?" (about 5 times... lol) then she said, "Oh my baby!" ..... my dad chuckled and said "It's about time!"

How far along are you: 10 wks 4 days

What was your first symptoms: I just assumed that I was going to have the most wicked AF in months because my boobs were killing me, they felt heavy.... I was cramping for about 2 weeks, I could not sleep at night, but was falling asleep in the middle of the afternoon, and I was eating the crap out of anything that was a carb or even looked like a carb! HA! A week after no AF... I got a positive test!!

What is your due date: November 20th (My 30th Birthday.. talk about giving me the best birthday ever! I am no longer dreading this day.

Do you know the sex of the baby: Not for another 2 1/2 months or so, but my husband insists it's a boy... go figure, it's gotta be a man thing.

If so, what is it: ????

Have you picked out names?: Yes, mine are good... and my husband's suck! :-)

If so, what are they: I'll let ya know once we know for sure.

How much weight have you gained: Enough to make me start taking my butt to work out at the YMCA again.. I've been lazy all winter long. I'm taking it easy, but it needs to be done.

Do you have stretch marks: Not from the baby.... not yet anyway.

Have you felt the baby move: Nope, still too soon.

Have you heard the heartbeat: Not yet, but I hope to on my next visit.... May 9th.

About The Birth:
Will you keep the baby: Yes... unless it looks like my husband... in which case that little one is going right back in the ol' womb! LOL .... J/K .... Of course I will love my big headed baby no matter what!

Home or hospital birth: Definitely hospital... and let me tell you, their birthing center is freaking' sweet. Heated bathroom floors, whirlpool tub, wooden furniture (not cold/metal looking), flat screen TV, mini fridge, stereo system... and the clincher for my husband... FREE Slurpee machine! :-)~

Natural or medicated birth: I will attempt to go natural, but I make no promises... a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.

Who will be in the delivery room with you: My husband and hopefully my mom... if she can make the 500 mile trip up here in time.

Will you breastfeed: As long as I am physically able to... Absolutely.. without a doubt.

Do you think you'll need a c-section: God I hope not... I want to do it the old school way

Will you cry when you hold the baby for the first time: I'd bet money on it.

What's the first thing you might say to him/her: "Hi my baby.... I love you!"

Would you let someone videotape the birth? From the waist up... yes... cause I have no interest in having someone man a "crotch cam!" HA!

Are you excited about the birth, or scared: Both..... but at this point, I think I'm a smidge more scared than excited

Hi, how are you doing?? Well, I'm still not talking to my so called bff. I think we have grown apart too much now and our friendship is over. There have been other issues with her not just her acting funny about my pregnancy. By the way, thanks for your message last week;sorry I didn't get back sooner. Anyway, I have been feeling a little lonely; my husband is always working. He works 2 jobs just to make ends meet; the economy stinks right now!! I have been trying to maintain my house, along with working my part time job too. Also, of course I have to tend to the kids mostly by myself right now since the hubby is hardly home. As far as the pregnancy, I have been a little worried because my cramping has kinda come back the past few days and I worry about everything being ok! I think I have been feeling the baby move for a few weeks now but I'm not 100% sure, although I think it has to be. It feels like little flips or pokes in my lower pelvic area. I'm sure its not gas because I have been feeling it everyday throughout the day. My 16 week checkup is next Tues,so it will be reassuring to hear the heartbeat again then. I'm looking forward to the big ultrasound; I really want to find out what it is!! I cant wait till the point comes that I dont have to worry about the pregnancy being ok. I think that the anatomy ultrasound will put mt mind at ease. After the ultrasound we can focus on getting things for the baby. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the summer; the kids get off of school next week and I plan to take them to the pool and park daily. Also, we bought waterpark passes, so when my hubby has his day off during the week we can go. It should be fun!How are you feeling? How is life going for you??

No you never need granny undies- please. I never wanted anything big enough to stretch all the way over my growing baby bump in my drawer. Even the clothes I will be sporting over the next 5 months, and not to forget post-baby will be embarrass enough!!
I pulled out the pants and tops I franticly purchased newborn in tote, sporting dark sunglasses, on the side of town no one knows me, after Austin was born. It's amazing how big that stuff looks to me now. Sure enough I will be thankful I have this stuff in about 6 months.
You think it's bad now. Wait until you go into a store searching for the biggest stuff you can get your hands on! Hoping you find anything that fits you! Big enough to look baggy, hence making you look skinny- well, whom I kidding, there is nothing skinny about the first 3 months after the birth. Not for me anyway.
I was talking to this girl the other day who said she continued to jog pregnant until she was so big she had to stop due to frequent needs for a pee break! And then she swam at the pool straight until B-day, emerging from birth a replica of her pre-baby self!
That's not me. And let's face it, that not a very interesting story I'd like to call my life. In retrospect, I like the struggle to lose the pounds. The dodging behind pillars at the grocery store b/c I just spotted my ex-boyfriend from when I was like a size 6.
As for the renos: good luck on getting those done. Crack the whip! Your hubby will have to get those done, if you have anything to say about it, I'm sure!
He sounds like a good guy; but a husband in school must be tough, especially with a baby on the way (uncertainties of your new life routine and all). Will he be done soon or is he just starting out?
Are you planning on going back to work after baby is born or are you undecided? In Canada we get 1 year maternity leave from our jobs which is nice, but it seems there's no easy time to go back to work. That's why I now watch two children in my house 5 hours a day. I'm bring in the money that way

raechelle - Thursday, 29 May
a cuff that is too small can definitley mess things up. I know that first hand. for my son she used a small cuff at about 20 weeks and it was 155 over 130. it freaked me and my doctor out.he monitored me for the next two weeks with a larger cuff and it was perfect.

waleric - Wednesday, 28 May
Hey Mommy!!! Don't worry about late replies, I'm the same say. Anyways, yes I'm opting for a c-section. I'm just such a bit scary cat. I just don't want to push and hurt and go through all that drama - YIKES!!!!

Did they tell you why you have high BP? What's the main cause of it? I'd be so worried too mommy; I'm so sorry.

Do you know the sex of the baby?

raechelle - Wednesday, 28 May

lol that's good to hear, we can be foodie bffs! yea so u kno never a dull sec in my life, got into a car acc, but all was ok, then a few days l8r i had to meet the ins lady n she cut me a check for my pain n sufferin! yessssss so that was pretty cool....went to the docs who scolded me for gainin 10lbs instead of 5 psh whatev lol but i am goin to try to maybe keep it to two bagels instead of three....speakin of which its bfast time right now so off i go, but enjoy those whoppers, mcd's doesnt even use real meat, they use soy fillers so its really not THAT bad for u, kinda like a 1/2 n 1/2 gardenburger....;) have a great mem day weekend....mmm bbq...

ali-with-B3 - Saturday, 24 May
Good to hear your lovin' the baby bump. Everythings great with me too. I have a little bump and wear my maternity jeans when it's cool out, stretchy shorts when it's hot. I'm not planning on getting any maternity tops yet, because I will definately need to shop for those in the fall when I'm bigger. I can get warmer stuff when the cooler weather hits. But we'll see when I out grow what I've got. I've got some xsmall maternity shirts left over from last pregnancy that work in the beginning. You've gotta start fresh so get out there and get some new stuff!! The only fresh start I'm looking forward to right now is a new house and mini-van. That's right, when you go from 2 to 3 kids you've got to make some big changes. My Ford Focus has 4 doors and was perfect for a family of 4 but too small for a family of 5, same as our house, too small for our growing family so I'll be getting my shopping fix on some big ticket items over the next little while. Wish me luck that our house sells before this baby is born!
TLC- yes they make all there rating off mommies-to-be. I remember sitting there 9 months prego. in the hot summer waiting for my baby to be born, watching every episode throughout the day, because really that's all I could do I was so big, and feeling so jealous that they had their baby and mine was never coming (it seemed)!!

misskesha08 - Friday, 23 May

weenie - Tuesday, 20 May
Yeah, the baby finally did behave for the test, and it was negative. Yippee! One of the doctors I work with just had a baby girl (his wife did, anyway), and she has Down syndrome. They chose not to do the test, so it was a bit of a shock for them. After hearing about that, I decided I'd want to know if my baby had Down syndrome, or any defect for that matter, just so I could be prepared and not so devastated after the birth.

I've been getting frequent heartburn lately, and it seems to be when I eat any kind of chips, or anything really rich or salty. It sucks!! I have to be careful about what I eat, and that's tough when I'm starving. It's crazy, I'll eat and feel completely full and bloated, but then like an hour or two later, I'm hungry again.

My sister in law just gave me a HUGE box full of her old maternity clothes, and just in time! It was so nice of her, because I bet there's at least $300 worth of clothes in there, and they're pretty fashionable, too. Also, a girl I work with gave me a stack of her old "fat scrubs" for when I grow out of mine. They're kind of worn looking, but I don't think I'll be too picky when I can't fit into anything else!

K~teaNewMommy - Monday, 19 May
o i cant wait! for the dr. appt tomm... i have had QUITE the weekend, was in a freakin car acc. on sat. no worries, im ok, (got an u/s outta it...baby WAVED!) u/s tech told me she thinks its a boy but could also be a girl who is 'swollen' cuz u kno it was created like 20min ago so im not sure,i still feel like its a girl....**omg random but dinner rolls sound sooooo good right now lol**** so yea poor bf is more banged up than i am, car may be totaled, he's very sad about that, but im juss happy we r ok, they were giving me turkey sammich n jello after the u/s cuz i told them i was hungry!LOL sooo yea dont feel bad about the no veggies, i suck at them too, i eat a banana every day and sometimes an apple...but that's bout it, unless u count potatoes as a veggie lol im all about the carbs! and then to top it all off i got a cold from the dirty hospital! bla so i guess i can count the 3 carrots that were floatin around in my progresso chicky soup lol but def. cant wait to go tomm. hear the heartbeat again!(heard it on sat.) and maybe find out if i can take anything for this dumb cold...but other than that feelin good, no pukey-ness (yay!) annnnnd this is so turnin into a novel...soooo ttyl =)
