This is their idea of a plus size figure! HA! I wish I looked this good, but it's as close as

I could get to how I look. :-)

pregnancy week by week

My profile

About Your Pregnancy:

Is this your first pregnancy: Yep!

When did you find out you were pregnant: March 21st.... Good Friday!

Was it planned: Not planned, but not prevented either....

What was your first reaction: I gasped...slapped my hand over my mouth and said "Oh My God!".. then I went back to drying the dishes... in much shock and disbelief. lol

Who was with you when you found out: My husband.. and my 3 beagle babies

Who was the first person you told: My mom

How did your parents react: My mom cried and said "Are you kidding me?" (about 5 times... lol) then she said, "Oh my baby!" ..... my dad chuckled and said "It's about time!"

How far along are you: 10 wks 4 days

What was your first symptoms: I just assumed that I was going to have the most wicked AF in months because my boobs were killing me, they felt heavy.... I was cramping for about 2 weeks, I could not sleep at night, but was falling asleep in the middle of the afternoon, and I was eating the crap out of anything that was a carb or even looked like a carb! HA! A week after no AF... I got a positive test!!

What is your due date: November 20th (My 30th Birthday.. talk about giving me the best birthday ever! I am no longer dreading this day.

Do you know the sex of the baby: Not for another 2 1/2 months or so, but my husband insists it's a boy... go figure, it's gotta be a man thing.

If so, what is it: ????

Have you picked out names?: Yes, mine are good... and my husband's suck! :-)

If so, what are they: I'll let ya know once we know for sure.

How much weight have you gained: Enough to make me start taking my butt to work out at the YMCA again.. I've been lazy all winter long. I'm taking it easy, but it needs to be done.

Do you have stretch marks: Not from the baby.... not yet anyway.

Have you felt the baby move: Nope, still too soon.

Have you heard the heartbeat: Not yet, but I hope to on my next visit.... May 9th.

About The Birth:
Will you keep the baby: Yes... unless it looks like my husband... in which case that little one is going right back in the ol' womb! LOL .... J/K .... Of course I will love my big headed baby no matter what!

Home or hospital birth: Definitely hospital... and let me tell you, their birthing center is freaking' sweet. Heated bathroom floors, whirlpool tub, wooden furniture (not cold/metal looking), flat screen TV, mini fridge, stereo system... and the clincher for my husband... FREE Slurpee machine! :-)~

Natural or medicated birth: I will attempt to go natural, but I make no promises... a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.

Who will be in the delivery room with you: My husband and hopefully my mom... if she can make the 500 mile trip up here in time.

Will you breastfeed: As long as I am physically able to... Absolutely.. without a doubt.

Do you think you'll need a c-section: God I hope not... I want to do it the old school way

Will you cry when you hold the baby for the first time: I'd bet money on it.

What's the first thing you might say to him/her: "Hi my baby.... I love you!"

Would you let someone videotape the birth? From the waist up... yes... cause I have no interest in having someone man a "crotch cam!" HA!

Are you excited about the birth, or scared: Both..... but at this point, I think I'm a smidge more scared than excited

Don't feel like a heffer yet; save that for when the excuse is gone, hee hee. I was happy when I found out I was pregnant and I could enjoy my tummy this summer b/c I have a reason for it to be big on the beach! I even bought a bikini (why not). Before I was pregnant I was all concerned how the heck I was going to tone that area before summer hit full force. After your baby is born your kinda a flabby mess for a while, but don't worry it can be fixed. The right jogger stroller helps. I hear yah about the jean-ban. Thank God for Loulou Lemon. You probably don't have Loulou Lemon where you are. Almost time to hit the maternity store! Are you obviously showing yet?

bellababybump - Saturday, 10 May
I know what you mean about being hungry all the time! I woke up twice in the middle of the night to snack! I never do that! I dream about food all the time too! its crazy all the changes you go through huh?

weenie - Friday, 9 May
So, only 13 weeks, and the baby is being difficult already! They were trying to test the baby for Down Syndrome at the ultrasound on Tuesday, and he was doing a headstand and hiccuping the whole time, so they weren't able to do it. I went back yesterday to try it again, and the baby was hiccuping again and still in an awkward position I guess, so I have to go back a third time on Monday to do this test. Thankfully, they only charge you for one ultrasound if that happens, so it's no big deal. It was really cute when he was hiccuping, though, and the ultrasound they did was SO much clearer than the one I tried on my own. It was Eric's first time seeing the baby move, so he was smiling ear to ear!
Let me know how your appt went today!

Hey! It's good to read from you :D
Definitely, she's your mom and mommies should always be number one (we should know very soon ;) ;))
Your hubby loves you and he'll definitely let you have your way; hence the fact that we always find a way, with our "charm". You'll see....everything's going to be perrrrfect!
I'm really excited about everything. Mostly nervous, but I know everything is going to be okay.
You're utterly gorgeous; imagine what the baby'll look like?? :D
Any names for the baby, if it's a boy, or girl?

K~teaNewMommy - Friday, 9 May

ali-with-B3 - Thursday, 8 May
Your funny! When I did the natural birth thing I found that screaming released the pain of pushing! The louder I screamed the less it hurt to push. So even though my doc. and everyone was telling me to shhh, and I did feel silly afterwards, I just screamed my head off! Everyone is different though. I really do hope things go smooth for you however you do it. It's all worth it in the end to have a lifetime with that little somebody!

K~teaNewMommy - Thursday, 8 May
hey i saw ur post bout the situation w/ hubby n ma in the room with u when the time comes, i have the same exact problem! my hunny thinks he's goin to pull a "knocked up" moment n tell my ma to sit her ass in the waiting room.....i dont think he realizes she will smack him upside the head n still go into the room, i want her there too, shes my mother how can i NOT have her there???

ali-with-B3 - Thursday, 8 May
I read your week 12 comment. Too bad your hubby doesn't support your mom, as she would probably help out a lot. It really is you who has to go through the "pains" of labour and I think your guy should be supportive of your wishes. Work on him! When you start screaming, he'll want Mom in there too to help calm you down!! Hee hee... not to scare you

crystal-p - Wednesday, 7 May
OH my gosh, I am doing so much better now that about 80% of the m/s is gone. However I am having horrible pain around my tail bone area? Have you had any thing like this?
How is it going for you? Anything new?

xx-first-timer-xx - Wednesday, 7 May
i cant wait until my contractions start, neither can my fella, well he just wants to start his paternity leave from work lol. so nearly 6 days overdue and not even a twinge,y wont he come out noooooooooooooow. you will understand wot im going through if u end up being overdue,it takes over your mind and its so hard to think about something different. every night i think will tonight be the night then i wake up. its so unfair lol.anyway enough about me!! if your working out then make the most of it b/c by week 32/33 you want want to do anything except sit on your ass but maybe i just speak for myself,i tend to be really lazy one day then have a burst of energy the next,i would say i do more housework now than i did b4,wether thats just nesting i have no idea.xxxxx

waleric - Wednesday, 7 May
Hey Erica, Congratulations mommy! I'm also a first timer (11 weeks! Yeey!)
With regards to your mom being there during your labor? That's a given......YES!
I wish you and hubby ALL the greatness, blessings and everlasting happiness in your marriage, but in the event that anything goes wrong and you guys decide to part (GOD FORBID!).....Your mother will ALWAYS be there for you -- Unconditionally.
If your mom wants to be there, you should definitely grant her the opportunity.
How would you feel if your future son or daughter did the same to you? :-(
It would really hurt your mom's feelings and hubby should be able to compromise. Yes, it's a private/personal event, but come one.......it's your mother we're talking about; right?
Nonetheless, it's your decision and I wish you all the best for that day. You're gonna be great!
God bless you, your family and baby :-)

raechelle - Wednesday, 7 May
hey erica i saw a post on a lady who does free gender predictions.her display name is MysticMoonQueen. I gave her all of my info for fun. Guess what! she predicted me another boy.i also did the chinese gender chart and it predicts me a boy too. for my fiend who had her little girl monday all of the predictions for her were a boy too. and look she had a girl. so i guess you never can tell. so i hope this time shes wrong ha ha. oh well talk to you later

trois - Wednesday, 7 May
Hey Erica....when you got married your husband became first in your life (besides God or whoever you may worship). Think about if you made a request to your husband pertaining to his mom, sibling, or friend, and he disregarded your fellings. I know that you would feel that since you are his wife , you should come first. Think about it.

xx-first-timer-xx - Wednesday, 7 May
a sweep is an internal, the midwife puts her fingers up your flu and sweep away the membranes around your cervix, its supposed to stimulate labour but only works for 85% of women, and yes having a tan certainly makes fat ppl look slimmer thats y i make sure ive got a bit of colour, ill be on a strict diet when ive had baby coz ive gained nearly 3st which is 42lb,oh the joys of pregnancy xx

weenie - Wednesday, 7 May
I know, it's fun talking to other pregnant women, and then a guy walks by and catches a few choice words and makes a face. It's funny!
What is your husband going to school for?
