My name is Erin. Been married for almost 4 years. We have one son, Cole, who is 3. We got ourselves a little surprise back September by finding out we were going to have another baby! We are very excited. We are having another little boy. His name, tentativley, is Zackery as dh prefer Zack over Zackery and i don't care for Zack as well.So it's still up in the air. Due May 31,2008! We did find out at my 21 week u/s i have a 2 vessel cord instead of 3 but so far all is well and he is weighing in big, 4lbs 13 oz, at my 31 week u/s. I have to go in twice a week for NSTs. Just started those this week. I'm hoping this guy follows his big brother and comes around the 37 week mark. I can't wait to meet him!

Had one of my many NSTs today. Dr said i should give lessons on how to do one LOL! Baby did his kicks like a pro! nice to be monitored so much but still to juggle the appt with work is tiring. Oh well. Just a few more weeks! If he follows his big bro, i could be holding him this time next week! Scares me to death LOL! Last week at my apt they did the strep B, passed it, and checked me, not dialted but softening so progess in the right diretction. Nestung is kicking in. Boys will share a room for now until hubby gets his head out of his butt and cleans out his man room. I tink my son is sensing the change more, been having lots of accidents lately. so i am now keeping things calm at home so he can get back to the potty business.

Had my othe NST this week. Went well. She checked me. I am 1 cm dialted and 60 % effaced! So progress from last week. she said i could go tonight or at 40 weeks. So more or less any time! I'm so excited! Can;t wait for him to get here! I'm supposed to go in Monday moring for a u/s to check on his size siince i am still measuring about 2 weeks ahead.

Got to have an ultr sound today before my NST. They estimate his weight to be 6 1/2 to 7 lbs. so not the giant baby they were thinking. They want to do another u/s Thurs to double check my fluid levels. He has lots of hair and did a cute succking motion wiht his mouth! too cute! Just can't wait for him to get here!

Well i am 37 weeks and 3 days. Officialy past when i had my son :(. Must have been becasue i had my membranes stripped with him. Oh well. He'll come when he comes. I am so ready to have him! Hopefully I'll have some kind of change on Thurs when i go in. Maybe they'll do somehting to get things going.

Had my dr appt. I am now 2 cm dilated and 50 % effaced. Dr wants me to be a 3 next week. So hopfully Monday when i go in i will be. Hoping it means she might get things going. I hope. all is well with my fluid levels. I get a BPP on Monday as well. guess the contractiosn i had the night before must have done something. I did try castor oil but took a very small dose. Read so many mixed reviews on it. Made me a bit nervous but thought maybe i would see. I might try again Sat ngiht. Unless baby boy makes his own plans and comes on his own.

Well not a 3 today but almost. Go back on Thursday for my NST. Dr said she may strip my membranes then. Helped my son come so hopefully it will this time especially being furth along. we'll see i guess. did Castor Oil Sat eveing. By 11:00pm had pretty good contractions abiut 3-5 min apart. Wasn't able to sleep. Slowed down by 5am. Lost my mucus plug just before contractions started. So slowly making progress in the right direction. but after all those contractions i decided i am not as ready as i thought! Not that i wouldn't mind him coming though.

How painful was it? I asked my doctor if it hurts, and she said it isn't pleasant. Was it tolerable for you?
