November 6, 2007 - 10 + weeks: Feeling great. I've been really lucky with no morning sickness. I occasionally get dizzy spells in the morning, but that's about it. My skin looks pretty bad, and I've gained about 4 lbs already, but I feel great and am so happy! I want to fast forward to the second trimester so I can tell everyone and start working out again. Looking forward to my doctor's appointment next week.

November 13, 2007 - 11 + weeks: It was my 30th birthday today and I went for the nuchal translucency scan. It was amazing. We got to see the baby jumping and moving all around for about 20 minutes and took home some great pictures. We saw it play with it's feet and suck it's thumb! I still don't feel or look pregnant, so it was really nice to be able to see the baby as proof that it's in there and healthy!

December 19, 2007 - 16 + weeks: Went for the early anatomy scan today. It was the most amazing experience. We saw blood circulating through the veins, the chambers of the heart, the brain, bones, fingers, toes, eyes, everything! They did a 3D scan which was incredible, I couldn't stop crying seeing my little baby - it's a boy!!!

December 20, 2007 - 17 weeks: It's starting to go quickly! I don't know if it's becasue of what I'm wearing, but I definitely notice a little bump today!

January 7, 2008 - 19 + weeks: I THINK I felt the baby today. I felt like I had flutters yesterday and then tonight I was laying in bed, and I pushed down on my stomach, it felt like he pushed back! Totally could have been gas, but I'm hoping it was the baby.

January 15, 2008 - 20 + weeks: Been feeling the baby move all week. My husband even got to feel him kick last night too! Had a doctor's appointment this morning and he said everything was great. Unfortunately he didn't do an ultrasound, but we got to hear the heartbeat on a doppler.

January 20, 2008 - 21 + weeks: I actually saw the baby move today! I was laying on the couch and feeling the baby moving all around and I looked down at my stomach and it was moving up and down right where he was kicking.

January 23, 2008: 21 + weeks: Had the follow-up anatomy scan today and the doctor said everything was perfect. He is 1 lb, 1 oz which is right where he should be. The technician did the 3D scan for us so we were able to get a good look at his face - he looks just like his father :)

March 10, 2008: 28+ weeks: The doctor never called with my glucose test results, so I'm assuming I passed - yipee! I was worried I'd have to give up chocolate! We started Lamaze classes today - not fun. I can't believe it's the third trimester already. I'm so tired again, I feel like I'm back in the first trimester (only 30 lbs heavier). The little guy has been moving all day and all night long lately. I just lay there and giggle and watch my belly moving all over the place. I think he's trying to break out!

April 4, 2008: 32 weeks: I went for a sonogram today to check the growth of the baby. He is about 4 lbs and measuring perfectly. He is in the 63rd percentile for weight. I was really hoping for another 3D picture so I could see what his little face looks like, but it has just gotten too crowded in there. His arms and knees were in front of his face, so I guess we will just have to wait until he comes out to see what he looks like. I bought his baby book today on the way home. Only 8 more weeks!

April 8, 2008: 32+ weeks: Going to the doctor every two weeks now. My appointments are about 3 minutes long. I get weighed, measured like a piece of furniture and hear the baby's heart rate. Knock on wood, this has been a super-easy pregnancy that I've really been able to enjoy every day of. Our stroller came last night and my husband put it together. I was having so much fun imagining my little guy in there. Having a stroller in the house definitely makes it seem more real. I ordered a swing the other day so that should be here next week. Now, if only the furniture would get here already.

April 13, 2008: 33+ weeks: Today we went shopping for all the necessities we'll need for as soon as the baby comes home. We bought receiving blankets, bibs, diapers, wipes, pacifiers, diaper rash cream, towels, washclothes, etc. Then we washed everything in Dreft and started organizing. Is this nesting???

May 21, 2008: Almost 39 weeks: I went to the doctor yesterday and am only 1/2 cm dialated but the baby has dropped. I definitely feel it too! Today is the first day of the entire pregnancy that I have felt uncomfortable or any pain. I'm ready to meet him!
