I finally had my little girl!! I went to the doctor on Dec. 12th and was 2 cm dilated and 90% effaced, I told her I didn't want to go over my due date so I was scheduled for an induction on Dec. 14th. Before I left the doctor's office, she stripped my membranes, which hurt like hell! Well, a couple hours later I started having mild contractions, so I drank this castor oil/root beer conconction that my doc gave me to get things going. I got to the hospital at 6:30 p.m. and had her by 11:30 p.m. She's absolutely perfect and such a good baby, only gets up once during the night. Congrats to all of my pregnancy friends who have given birth, I will email you guys back when I have more time. I posted some pics of my little Ava. Merry Christmas!!!
MY BABY MIA...

How far along are you:

23 weeks as of August 19th

Cravings so far:

Anything sweet, fruit

Things that make you sick:

Roasted/grilled chicken, smell of garlic or onions

Boy or girl:

Girl

Babys name:

Ava Kylie

Advice for other pregnant women:

If you happen to be one of the lucky ones who has morning sickness, it will be the longest 3 months of your life, but after that, you completely forget how awful it was and start getting more excited the bigger your little one gets

Baby Daddy:

Kyle

His reaction:

Excited, but a little disbelief, we thought we had missed my ovulation cycle and would have to wait until the next month to start trying again

Greatest memory so far:

The first time I felt her kick

Biggest fear:

A long and painful labor

Strange symptoms:

The crazy moodiness and crying for no reason

Advantages of being pregnant:

Being able to eat as much as you want and not feel guilty

Weird dreams:

In the first couple of months I had really weird dreams about hanging out w/ celebrities - I told Lindsey Lohan to stop partying so much in one of them :)

Emotional outbursts:

Oh yes, many fights w/ the hubby about absolutely nothing

Breast changes:

They just keep getting bigger, my back is really starting to hurt

Waist changes:

No more waist, just baby bump, I'm carrying pretty low

Things you quit for baby:

Drinking alcohol

Most uncomfortable time:

At night when I'm trying to sleep

Worst part of being pregnant:

Morning sickness, or in my case, all day and night sickness

Best place for maternity clothes:

Gap Maternity

Taking parenting classes:

Not sure

Pregnancy necessities:

Granola bars and crackers to keep in your purse, you never know when one of your hunger attacks will suddenly hit you

Grandparents reaction:

They were thrilled, started crying, this will be the first grandchild on both sides

Aunts? Uncles?:

1 Aunt, 3 Uncles

Godparents:

My sister Gabrielle (she cried when I asked her - tears of joy of course!) and Kyle's brother Tony

Where will you deliver:

St. Anthony's Hospital
