I am currently 10 weeks pregnant and I am enjoying this experience. I haven't had any morning sickness (only two occasions where I vomited for eating something that didn't agree with my stomach). I can pretty much eat anything and I don't have any crazings. I just pray the rest of my pregnancy is smooth sailing. I have gained 4-5 pounds. Is this good or bad (especially this early in my pregnancy). I had to buy a larger size in my clothing and my stomach isn't big. I don't know what to expect during this pregnancy but I know that I can rest in God knowing he will take care of me and allow me to have a wonderful pregnancy. I can't wait until I start showing and feel the first kick. I go back to the doctor on Jan.18th to have an ultrasound to check how far along I am because at my first appt. last week the doctor said that my uterus was too small to be 9 weeks. I will keep you posted.
Inspirational Bible Verses
Psalm 22:10
From birth I was cast upon you; from my mother's womb you have been my God
Psalm 139:13-18
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous - how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can't even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!
Isaiah 49:1
Listen to me, you islands; hear this, you distant nations: Before I was born the LORD called me; from my birth He has made mention of my name
John 16:21
A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.
Acts 2:38-39
Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call."
Galatians 1:15
But when He had set me apart before I was born...and had called me through His grace.
3 John 1:4
I could have no greater joy than to hear that my children are following the truth.

I have made 11 weeks (praise God for his many blessings)!! I am feeling fanastic besides a little gas ( I think my lactose pill didn't kick in before I ate that bowl of fruit loops). But anyway, hope everyone's day is going well. I think I am going to relax on this beautiful and rainy Sunday afternoon before I cook in a few hours. Take care and God Bless!!Monday, January 28
I am currently 15 weeks. My journey so far has been wonderful and amazing. The baby is growing and I can't wait for the baby bump:) I had my 1st ultrasound on Jan. 18th. It was amazing to see the baby. The baby was laying on its back just enjoying the moment. The tech was wonderful. We were able to get four different images of the baby. The tech said everything looked good and the baby weighs 3oz.. I am patiently awaiting my 2nd ultrasound to find out if the dream my sister and I had will come true. We both dreamed on two separate occasions that I was having a boy and he had my husband's features. Whatever God blesses me with as long as its healthy, happy, and beautiful, I will be eternally graceful. May your day be filled with all the love, joy, and peace of God through Jesus. Until next time, Be blessed and May God continue to shine his face upon you.

I am currently 18 weeks and 3 days. I have been under the weather since the weekend. I went to the doctor and he decided to do a flu swab to make sure I didn't have the flu. He held the swab in my right nostril for 10 sec. When he got to 10, he decided to hold it in for a little longer. He was lucky that I was not feeling well because the swab was very uncomfortable. Thank God I didn't have the flu but was advised that I had a "cold virus", so I was placed on bedrest for a couple of days. The nurse at my ob office stated that I could take plain robitussin to clear the chest congestion and drink plenty of fluids. Thank God this doesn't have any affect on the baby. This weather in Georgia is crazy. Hot one day then cold the next. I will be moving this weekend so I will be packing a little bit at a time. I will try not to overdo it. The baby is doing fine. I can feel a little more movement but not an official kick yet. I will schedule my next ob appt. the 2nd week of March to confirm what I already know "It's a boy". Until next time, Remember: "This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it"(Psalm 118:24) Rest in God through Jesus because he has your best interest at heart. Be blessed and Have a Wonderful Day!!

I am 23 weeks and 2 days and I have been very exhausted lately. With school and clinical rotation, all I want to do is sleep when I get home. The baby is very active and is making his/her presence known. On March 11th, I had my 3d/4d ultrasound and it was amazing. I wish they would have told me to wait a few weeks so that the features were more pronounced. So if anyone is thinking about getting a 3d/4d ultrasound wait until you are between 26-32 weeks for the best images. The tech showed my husband and I three lines, which indicates that I am having a girl. She kept placing the pointer at the genital area because I wasn't convinced. I have another ultrasound on the 15th of April and hopefully the legs will be open wide enough to give us a clear indication of the gender. No matter what I am having, I am truly and forever grateful that God has blessed me with the ability to bring life in this world. I love my baby and I pray that I have a healthy, beautiful and happy baby boy or girl. Until next time, Remember: God shall supply all of your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Phil. 4:19)

Hello Ladies, I haven't updated in a while( I am currently in my 7th month). I have to give a 6 month update. I had my gloucose test and can I say "delicious". The nurse gave me a fruit punch flavored one and I dranked it in less than 2 minutes. My glucose test came back good and everything is going well. I had another ultrasound but I am still uncertain. Since I can feel the baby in my ribs "uncomfortable", the baby has changed positions. Hopefully this is an indication that the baby's legs are open or in a different position. I will have my last gender unltrasound on Tuesday. I am so excited. I can't wait to start shopping. Until Tuesday, Be Blessed and Have a Wonderful Week!!!

Today I have made 9 months but I must give an 8 month update. I am feeling a lot of pressure, so time is getting near. Time seems to be flying by now and I am getting excited to finally meet my little princess on that very special day. The appointments are going great, her heartbeat is strong and I have started going to the doctor every week. School is getting quite challenging but I am praying that God gives me the strength and endurance to make it till the end. Until next time remember: " Cast your cares on the Lord and he will give you rest". Be blessed and Have a Wonderful Week!!

I am 39 weeks and 3 days. I went to the doctor yesterday and found out I haven't dialated. My cervix is still closed. I was able to get an ultrasound and the tech stated Aniya weighs 6 pounds and 8 oz. The doctor stated if nothing changes by next Tuesday, I will be induced on Sunday the 27th. I don't know what to do. She told me if my cervix doesn't dialate during the induction, I would have a c-section. I don't want to get cut unless medically necessary. I don't know what to do. I am confused and don't know which direction to take. I will cast my cares on the Lord and let him take care of the situation. I know it's all in his hands and everything will go well. I am looking forward to a fast vaginal delivery and recovery. Pray for me and any advice would help!!!
