Hey guys...pretty new at this! Actually im pretty new with everything, this is my first pregnancy and I couldnt be more happier..yet soooo scared! Thank goodness I work at an OB-GYN! At the beginning of my pregnancy I was spotting and cramping..I was a nervous wreck! We did an U/S and we could hear the babys heartbeat, my doctor told me not to worry once you hear the heartbeat the less chance you'll have a miscarriage! PHEW! No more spotting, but I have occasional cramps, which I guess is pretty normal! My due date is June 25, 08..I couldnt have planned that out any better, since it will just start getting hot here in Wyoming! I have this deep feeling it is a girl, which I am only wishing and crossing my fingers that it is! But my husband wants a boy and boys run thick in his family, tho girls run thick in mine! I guess I dont really care what I have as long as he/she is healthy!

Everything seems to be going really good, I think I am about done with my morning sickness! YAY!! Today I had some lower back pain, and some minor cramping..since I work at my doctors I took a UA and everything was fine..I was just sent home to put my feet up! I have an u/s on tuesday..let everyone know how that goes!

I had an u/s last week and there was nothing there, its still kinda of early to know..but so far its a GIRL!! My doctor also told me that im carring kinda low..so I dont know! My tummy is getting bigger by the day..its crazy! I just cant wait for my little one to come!Friday, 18 Jan
Ohh I almost forgot..he moved my due date up to the 23rd! But he said that ill probably go towards the beginning of June..since this is my first..im kinda getting scared!Friday, 8 Feb

Well on wednesday I had my full u/s. It went pretty good, got to see my precious baby girl! And everything looks wonderful!! Im outgrowing all my jeans, so now I have to move into those painful ugly maternity jeans..Urgh.. We finally chose a name: Paiton Ella!! I cant wait to have her here in our arms..3 more months!

Omg, you get to have your baby on Monday!! Are you excited, or nervous...I will be thinking of you. I am alright, still lots of contractions and now NST's twice a week...so we will see what she does. I should be taken off my contraction meds in 11 days....so hopefully she will come after that...at the same time, I am not ready for her to come...lol. good luck!!

I am good...still having lots of contractions and lower back pain. But this is all normal for me. Your due date is in 20 days...are you having any prelabor or anything? The time has been flying by. My next growth check is on the 11th. I should know a lot more about baby then. Hopefully she has grown, but at the same time I would like a "date", you know what i mean. Take care!! Are you still working?

What is "lightning pain"? Can you describe it for me?
I am feeling ok. Right now baby is measuring 2 weeks small. Only in the 10th percentile. So, I have another growth check in 3 weeks. If she is still small, we might get induced at 36 weeks. Jsut in case there is something wrong with my placenta or something like that. So, I am just taking it easy. The warm weather has not been bothering me too much, which i am glad....Take care!!

Hi, it is trange your doctor isn't concerned. Yes, it may be nothing, but how he can be so sure? I would advise you to buy home blood pressure measuring device - it is not so expensive and easy to use, and monitor your blood pressure daily. If it is normal and stable, it is more likely you are ok too, just having those late pregnancy discomforts.

I have been experiencing the same thing. My doctor asked if I drank a lot of water and I said "yeah, that's all I drink", he said that that causes your sodium levels to drop, which could make you feel funny like that ( weird, I know). He suggested drinking Gatorade and it's been helping.

you could have low iron...i had a lot of those same symptoms and the doctors put me on repliva because the baby needs more iron now than ever...as for the blurry vision, that just comes with pregnancy from the hormones..or if ur standing up to quickly...there are a number of reasons for all this. I wouldn't worry too much though...you're forming a new life, gotta expect some changes in your body :)

Hey have they tested you for anemia? Im anemic and i felt like that before taking iron pills along with my prenatals... Be careful driving if you feel like that. I felt like that for the first and second trimester it could be hormones as well.. feel better:)
