Yah dont be concerned at all, if it turns into like bright red blood then i would call the nurse. I heard it lasts for a few days. After i go to the bathroom i act like its xmas and look in my underwear looking for the mucous plug! Depressing i have gone to this point!lol My hips are starting to hurt which i think is a good sign meaning that she is getting further down!! And my back wholly moley is that starting to hurt how about you?

My doctor does the same stuff! I get so depressed when I read about all the scans all the other mommies get. Everyone asks me how much she weighs and how long she is and I have NO IDEA!!! :(

If you are measuring on target then no ultrasounds are done at my OB either. I had to have on because at 36 weeks I am measuring 34.

While it is good to know approx how much she weighs, I would rather things be normal.

Yah i wish i had a huge wardrobe like hers too and that cheap as well!lol Im jealous you lost your chunks!lol Yah i look after i wipe too cause right now you never know what the heck is gonna come out your vagina! haha Yah my discharged as increased too and sometimes i think its my water as well! But i bet we will be able to tell a difference when the time comes! Your in school? Me too! I cant believe i have been juggling work and school! I dont know how us women do it! What are you going to school for?

Aww I'm jealous of your good OB lol. That is so awesome that he gets spouses involved.....I really wanted that for Rick. He said he wants to catch the baby if they will let him....But I doubt that will happen. People around here seem to be soooo closed minded about birthing....it's starting to make me nervous. I feel like that too, Like..."why would you choose my week to take a vacation!? You had all this time!!!" Oh well maybe I will get lucky and he will be gone, then I can deal with his nurse midwife....but I have also heard bad things about her....this is scary!!! :(

Glad im not the only one measuring a week ahead! Lately i have always been measuring on time or a week ahead then im on time and then the next week im ahead another week!lol Yah i have a feeling i will go in a few days before my due date, i dont think i will be super earlier or late! Im really hoping not late! I washed all my lil ones clothes, it was 5 loads of clothes and this is just newborn clothes to 3-6 months clothes! They fit in all her drawers thank goodness! Its weird thou my tummy is very loose at the bottom like i can make it jiggle, i think it might be cause she has dropped further down so there is not alot of body in that area! I dont know but its weird!! Have you lost your mucous plug? I dont think i have!!! :(

Yah and your in canada so you should be getting snow soon!lol That sucks your doctor was busy i would have been pissed and been like look and tell me!!!lol Columbus day is your thanksgiving? Do you guys celebrate it or do you wait for the lower 48 thanksgiving? Wow hopefully next wednesday you will know soon! I think thats cute you guys are keeping it a secret! Im such a control freak i cant help myself i have to know everything and make everything planned correctly! But as you know giving birth will be something i cant control!!! ARGH!lol I know we are almost full term how awesome is that! I cant believe we are carrying full term babies!! I dont think my belly is big enough for full term but im measuring at 37 weeks even thou we are only 36 they said thats okay thou its actually healthy! All good!!!

Yah they should be able to tell you, i know the doctors here said once your 36 weeks if you want to know if your dilated or not you can~ Thats cool you picked out an outfit, i think im going to put her in a sleeper outfit cause we are already starting to get snow and i want her warm and relaxed! I think what your little girl will be wearing will be comfy too! What are you naming her?

I soo would cry too thinking about going to 41 and 42 weeks! I know we can handle it but why want to! Right now it feels like pregnancy is sooo slow! Im doing great fighting heartburn!!! And next week is my last week of working at work then i will start working from home! I dont have weekly appointments til wk 38! but i have my 36 wk appt tommorrow so next week is the only week i dont have an appt! Can you believe how close we are slowly getting?? Im keep thinking the same thing wondering when we will be having our little ones!! Wow can you believe we have been talking like our whole pregnancy?lol

don't worry! if you only give a bottle while you are in class, it should be fine. they say that because the baby might get used to the bottle and not take to the breast anymore. I'm just going to make sure that i feed her before i leave. my class is three hours. and she'll just need one bottle while i'm gone. It would be IDEAL to not have to leave the baby at all for the first two months but sometimes that's not how life is! it will be fine to give the baby pumped milk. I babysat an infant over the summer whose mom did both and it worked out fine. regardless, our babies will be super healthy because we are breastfeeding! it will all work out! :o)

Yes both my sons are very excited, especially my 5 year old. he's even suggested some names. My 3 year old is finally starting to realize that there's a baby in my belly and he gives my belly kisses and says...i love that baby. It's so sweet!! :)

If you're close to your house that's probably very manageable. It's worth a try and if it doesn't work out it doesn't work out. No big deal. If you aren't able to pump enough to give her a full bottle (whatever that is for her) you can always mix formula with breastmilk.

Just make sure that everytime you're with the baby you breastfeed her...if she's a good breastfeeder then one week of good practice might be all she needs.

This is my third and although I probably know slightly more what to expect...every baby is different and adding a third to the mix changes the dynamics again for me. I know it's scary but you'll figure it out. Your mom instincts will kick in!! :)

Hello...just wanted to comment on your question about pumping~On the 3rd day, after baby comes, your breast will be so full & tight that it'll wake you in the middle of the night from the soreness & pressure....it'll feel like an elephant on your chest or like you had suregery! This is when you actually get a lot of milk out, but you can do it sooner and it'll eventually come out. About saving the milk, I put some in the frig overnight for when my daughter woke up and I heard you can freeze milk for a long time. :) Good luck. CONGRATS!!!!!!

I breastfeed my second child till he was 16 months. I worked while breastfeeding. For me I started pumping and storing right away because I had a ton of milk. I've read you should wait about 3 weeks before pumping to establish your milk supply but if you have plenty right away I'd reccomend the pumping and breastfeeding as soon as you can. But don't give the baby that pumped milk. I pumped in between feedings when I noticed I had extra milk.

As for the bottle...i would probably wait a few weeks (assuming you can) cause once the baby realizes how easy it is to eat from a bottle he/she might reject breastfeeding. So if you can establish good breasfeeding habits in those three weeks then you should be fine. That's kinda what happened with my first son. I ended up pumping and bottle feeding him for three months and my milk supply just couldn't keep up (the pump isn't as effiecent as the baby). He had trouble latching on and as a result I pumped and bottle feed and still tried to get him to learn to latch on but he quickly learned the bottle was easier for him.

I know I'm so excited!! I'm not having a schedule c-section either. He just told me that it's quite possible to induce me by 39 weeks...so we'll see if he sticks to his words. Starting at 37 weeks, I'm going to do everything in my power to induce myself naturally, haha... I'm so desperate for him to get here NOW!! Good luck to you!! I hope we do deliver this month!!
