My profile

Hello everyone! I am 26 years old. My husband and I have been together for 4 years. We decided to get married on January 28th, 2009. (the same day we conceived) I do have 2 step children, a boy and a girl. Erica is 17, and Tyler is 14. So this child will be my first actual birthing experience! I am excited and scared at the same time! I had a hard first trimester. It consisted of hives constantly. We could not figure out what they were from. (food allergy) I called my midwife and was telling her about the hives and I was joking and said "my luck I am probably allergic to the baby". Well that joke came back and bit me. I am allergic to the hormones that the baby is causing...how weird is that! Well thus far we have that under control, and we are moving forward. Enough time has passed and I am beginning to show a little bit. I am now 19 weeks and 0 days. I have gained 7lbs. I guess it will all work out in the end tho. I am always up for meeting new people and chatting about our babies and our experiences that we are going through. Feel free to send me a message anytime, I am litterly addicted to this website since the day I stumbled acrossed it. I finally decided to make myself a page.

i cant believe Hailey is already 2 months old (on nov 10th) We went to the drs on the 16 and she weighs 8 lbs 15 oz...still a little peanut but growing good! We have had to switch formulas to Enfamil AR because she was spitting up A LOT and sometimes throwing it all up but this seems to be working but now her poo seems to be harder to get out and maybe her tummy hurts....not sure...but this formula is a lot thicker so i dont know shes only been on it about a week so we will see how it goes. Hope everyones doing great

I know what to expect from the c-section, I think. Why did you opt for the spinal and not an epidural? I know there are those two choices but arent they basically the same thing? I want whatever wears off sooner. I remember I couldnt stand the numb feeling I had after my epidural with my last son. It was just strange. HOLD UP! Your incision is STILL tender??? Is it tender AND painful? Are any of your movements restricted because of it? Why is it still numb?? See these are the things no one tells you but the things you really need and want to know. How much of the area above your incision is still numb? How soon after your section were you really able to walk around? I am so set on my plans for after her delivery. I plan to be at the NICU ASAP. When I'm released from the hospital after my 3 day stay, I plan on going to the NICU and pretty much living at the hospital until she's released. I'll sleep at the Ronald McDonald house at night or during the day while someone else is with her. I just cant leave her alone without someone there with her and I know I wont do well at home with her in the hospital. Plus it's a 30 minute drive to the hospital. Honestly, were you in serious pain after the spinal wore off and what was it like the first time you got out of bed? Tell me everything, LOL.

I'm a insurance broker. I sell health, dental, life, 401K's, vision insurance, etc... to large business' and manage their employee benefit programs. I always wanted to get into nursing but I just dont have time for it, lol. I would love it though. What I do brings in good money and owning my own business will allow me to make my own hours as it's not a full time job. I'll be able to work out of my home office.

Well you can always do like me and just get pregnant, LOL. We werent trying but we werent really trying not to either. He knew I wasnt on birth control but some sexy lingerie gets a man every time! LOL - Gotta love Victoria Secret!! Plus your daughter needs a playmate. With both of her siblings being so much older than she is she will need one to be close to. I'm sure she'll be close to them also but my sister and I were 18 months apart and the best of friends. Look at me, giving you argument points, LOL.

How far along did you get before they did the c-section? With my first son my labor was hell! I was contracting but not dialating. I went into the hospital on Thursday and he was born Saturday. It was awful!!!! They didnt start pitocin until Friday but OMG...... With my youngest son I tried the all natural thing too. I got to a 7 after 12 hours and then someone asked if I wanted it and thats all it took, LOL. I have no clue how women do that without meds and back in the day when they delivered at home with nothing...... Bless them! No I'm not working now. I worked with both of my kids and now I'm at home. I plan on starting my own business after Sophia is born and everything is back to normal. I actually was getting everything ready and then we got the news about her health so I decided to put it on hold for now. What about you?

My first son was two weeks before his due date and was 6 lbs 10 oz and 19 inches long. My second was one week before his due date and was 7 lbs 13 oz and 19 inches long. I was induced with both and cant imagine how big they would have been had I not been induced. At one point with my biggest baby I gave up pushing! LOL - everyone started yelling at me, even my doctor but they werent the ones doing all the work!

My husband and I also have a big gap in our age. He's 44 and I'm 27. He has other children also with his oldest being 18 and we just got her off to college this year. HAHA we are starting all over! My son is 11 and then 6. Sophia is my first girl and more than likely my last baby. My husband didnt want anymore kids either BUT I did. We werent using protection, just timing it. Needless to say I wanted a baby and got pregnant! LOL = oh I bet she did like her bath. What woman doesnt like a warm soothing bath!

Ok, I can see how tiny she is in this picture. Looking at her compared to the thing she's laying in.... I just looked at mine for comparison. Wow, so tiny but oh so beautiful! I love it when babies stretch out!!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE black friday. It's become a tradition that the hubby and I go together and we always have a game plan as to which stores we'll hit first. We are there as soon as they open and grabbing what we need. It does get crazy but that's just something we do together as a couple. I always look forward to it. Oh my boys are just overly excited! My little one more so than the older one. His teacher knows everything thats going on with our pregnancy! LOL - he cant wait! Are you planning on having anymore children?

I have looked at all the walmarts in my area and they dont have any preemie sleepers! I was shocked and they only have very little preemie outfits. I think I'll end up shopping online for them. I havent even started Christmas shopping yet. I'll go on blackfriday and pick up some stuff but really there are alot of good sales going on now.

sfrizzell1 - Tuesday, 17 November
I'm only taking onzies with me. I couldnt find any preemie sleepers. Since we expect at this point for Sophie to be in the nicu for awhile I'm just waiting to see how much she weighs before buying her outfits to wear. Not that much longer and we'll know!!! Thanksgiving is next week and I cant wait! I get to pig out and eat as much as possible!!!!
