Before you were conceived I wanted you. Before you were born I loved you. Before you were here an hour I would die for you. This is the miracle of love.

My name is Cheryl and I've been with my husband since I was 16 and we have been married since October, 2006. We decided to start trying to conceive in April '08 and in May '08 we were pregnant! Unfortunately I miscarried at 5 weeks. We were advised to wait 3 months before TTC again. We waited 3 months and on October 20th, 1 day before our 2 year wedding anniversary, we had a positive HPT! Yet another tragedy... when we went for our routine 8 week U/S and our baby only measured 6 weeks and there was no heartbeat. I had a missed miscarriage, we were shocked as everything seemed fine! 1 week later I had a D&C. It was the most challenging year of our life!

I am so glad it is a new year! It has already brought us another pregnancy blessing! On February 23rd we had a surprise positive pregnancy test, as we had only been trying a few weeks! So we will be due one week after our 3 year wedding anniversary! Thank-you God for giving us a THRID CHANCE!

P.S. Autumn is my favorite time of the year!

Hi ladies, I had my little man Friday at 6:02pm after 8 hours of induction and my epidural fell out at 7 to 8 cm but they replaced it in time will post birth story soon

Quick update: Kaiden and I are doing well. He'll be 1 month old on the 21st.. next Saturday. He's lost his umbilical cord stump and his circumcision has healed perfectly! Kaiden is 8lbs now and the most alert baby I know. BF is going well. He is nursing every 2-3 hours or whenever he's hungry. Awake most of the day..eyes wide open. And can now smile, laugh out loud and hold his up while on his tummy.

Me..I'm losing all my baby weight. I am 6lbs shy of my pre-preggo weight. My appetite is back. And I feel great!

Congrats to everyone who's had their LO, especially my homegirl MiSS Jen-aNd-LiL MiSS Active!

Quick Update: Yes, I'm still pregnant. Went to doctor's today and he thinks my heart-shaped uterus + long cervix is why I can't progress but, I want to give mother nature a chance- I told him I didn't want to induce again (too painful ). He said that's fine for now as long as my blood pressure remains good and if she has enough fluid. So, we did an u/s and yes, she has plenty of fluid and hasn't really dropped much but, is in the position to come out. The u/s tech said she has lot of hair! And, that she's not too, too big. The doc. said if baby isn't here by Wed. then, we must induce again and if that doesn't work... c-section (which I'm totally OK with) Tonight's inducing try: bouncing on gym ball for hours {and I'm NOT kidding}

He's here! It's a boy!!! William James Dohmen (we call him Liam) finally made it into the world! After 34 1/4 hours of labor he arrived via emergency c-section on Sunday, November 8 at 8:31 a.m., and he's absolutely perfect! He was 41 weeks, 3 days, and he was a big boy! He weighed in at 8 lbs. 10 3/4 oz. and was 21 3/4 inches long! He has a TON of dark hair, and he's the most amazing thing ever! I can't stop staring at him! He ate as soon as we met in the recovery room, and he hasn't stopped! It's going GREAT! We're all still in the hospital, but we get to go home tomorrow. Brian and I are both exhausted - but you're right about 'mommy fuel!' It does exist! I'll get some pictures up ASAP. How are you doing?! I can't wait to finally join you and Kim in the infant section!!! Yippee! I can't believe DJ is two weeks old and I just finally met Liam! Wow! :) Hugs to you!!!

Hi expecting-2b-patient. I had the mirena for almost 5 years, it was painful at insertion for only 1 second. It just takes a few weeks to settle and you need to use panty liners for a while. It feels like bad period cramps for the 1st day but its worth it, after it settles you dont know its there and it has no effects on your hormones...after I have my baby I will definately have another one inserted. Good luck

Frazer Alan O'Neill was born after 5 hours labour at 11am. He weighs 6.09 pound and is 48cm long. I had the gas and pethadine and have some tearing so I had to be stitched up and have a catheter for the next day. He's just gorgeous! I'll post some photos once I'm at home.

OK. So I had a sweep yesterday morning and a bloody show afterwards. I'm going to head in to the Hospital soon to see what they have to say. It is now 7am and I have been up since 5am feeling very uncomfortable with bad back ache and strong "period" pain. I started noticing contractions around 6am and started timing them about 45 minutes ago. They are regular and 3-4 minutes apart and very painful - makes me keel over and I can't move. I hope this really is it. Wish me luck!

Hey! You sound exactly like me with the breastfeeding! But I'm still doing boob only. Logan likes to eat but he does not do well staying awake and I can't get him to wake up long enough to eat much more. So sometimes he will eat for 25 minutes and then sometimes he will only eat 15 and be passed out! I worry that he doesn't eat enough, but when he's hungry he lets me know too. He's not very good at burping, lol! He doesn't mind being in the co-sleeper as long as he is already asleep when he's put in there. And I tend to put a blanket across the bottom of him and tuck it under the sides of the pad. He does not like being swaddled! He moves and wiggles and stretches constantly and is just not into it! He's so funny! Ty loves being a Daddy when he's here which isn't often... it's so strange. Savannah got her period so between Logan's diapers, Savannah's liners and my pads it's like a 24 hour changing mess for me! LOL! How is Dave enjoying DJ?

I know nothing prepares you for all that's involved, and I know what you mean about not taking time to just enjoy it my mum always says she enjoys looking after her grandjuds more because you can relax and just do tthe fun stuff without all the stresses involved. Do you know you can mix breast and bottle feeding if it's becoming too much. I've not breastfed this time I wanted o this time but I tookan infection in my cs wound and have been on antibiotics since mddison was a couple days old. All things considered I am glad that I don't have to do every feed although I do feel a bit guilty, in saying that it isn't doing her any harm as she seems to be doing great. Any way better get moving give dj a kiss for me.
