Before you were conceived I wanted you. Before you were born I loved you. Before you were here an hour I would die for you. This is the miracle of love.

My name is Cheryl and I've been with my husband since I was 16 and we have been married since October, 2006. We decided to start trying to conceive in April '08 and in May '08 we were pregnant! Unfortunately I miscarried at 5 weeks. We were advised to wait 3 months before TTC again. We waited 3 months and on October 20th, 1 day before our 2 year wedding anniversary, we had a positive HPT! Yet another tragedy... when we went for our routine 8 week U/S and our baby only measured 6 weeks and there was no heartbeat. I had a missed miscarriage, we were shocked as everything seemed fine! 1 week later I had a D&C. It was the most challenging year of our life!

I am so glad it is a new year! It has already brought us another pregnancy blessing! On February 23rd we had a surprise positive pregnancy test, as we had only been trying a few weeks! So we will be due one week after our 3 year wedding anniversary! Thank-you God for giving us a THRID CHANCE!

P.S. Autumn is my favorite time of the year!

Hey, Doll!I know you're super busy with DJ and are probably still running on "mommy fuel," but I wanted to check in and see how you're doing. Have you settled into any sort of routine yet? Are you still having to do everything around the house? I bet you're exhausted! OMG! At least Dave wil be home tomorrow and Friday, right? Maybe you can have some "Cheryl time" then - even if it's an hour! :) I love that your post was so upbeat. It's like I could tell you were totally beaming the entire time you were typing, even when you were telling me about the sore nipples. Haha! :) Hopefully that'll get better soon, too! So yeah... Baby Ole is STILL in there. WTF?! SIX DAYS overdue! OMG! I finally lost my mucus plug last Sunday, and I know it was the entire thing - pretty gross! - so I was thinking it would be really soon, right? Wrong! It's to the point where neither Brian or I is excited anymore because it just keeps dragging and dragging. And the phone keeps ringing and ringing. And people at work keep saying "Your'e still here?" Obviously they can see that I am! I'm going to punch someone in the nose one of these days if he/she doesn't get here soon! LOL! We have to have an ultrasound and non-stress test on Friday, then we'll be forced to talk about induction, which I'm fighting with every ounce of strength I have. I want this naturally SO BAD. Today would have been my grandfather's 90th birthday. I think today would be a great day, and a nice tribute to him. I'm thinking good thoughts. And we're going to Olive Garden for eggplant parmasean for dinner. I've heard that helps. We're both getting pretty tired of all the sex! HA! :) Take care of you!!! Give DJ kisses for me! Just read your birth story, sorry about the tearing, the same happened to me as I was cut and had forceps, took her 45 minutes to stitch me up as well. I DIDN'T have an epidural and I had to push for 5 hours before they intervened and used the forceps so you can imagine how shattered I was. Reading your birth story has brought it all back to me! When I think about the pain of the contractions and the 11 hour labour and the forceps I think I couldn't go through it all again but then when I look at my little boy I know I could and it was worth every bit of pain. Treasure every moment with your precious baby as the weeks fly by! My little boy is 7 weeks old now and it feels like only yesterday I was pregnant! xx

My sister kept getting embryo implants on Mirena and having to get D & C due to abnormal ultrasounds and complications ect... It can also cause a high risk for tubal pregnancys.

Haha, ya we had a bunch of family come over so I put on some of my maternity jeans, but the second they left I ripped them off!!! I'm still sore too, anything tight around my belly is a no go for long! How are you and your new family doing?

I never had pms cramps untill I had the iud, they were crazy! But, it's a small price to pay for worry free birth control.

I don't with the Mirena, but I did have the copper one after I had my son. I went with that because I was breastfeeding. I am planning on using the Mirena this time to hopefully control the extra bleeding and cramping that sometimes comes with the IUD. Other then that I had no problem with mine.

Yes I had this in for 5 and a bit years. I had no probs til I reached the 5 yr mark. I ended up with a bad infection which put me in hospital for 7 days:( So im not allowed it again. Bummer as I didnt have a prob for all them yrs. My periods become very light then stopped which was great. I got pregnant pretty fast after having it removed but had a misscarriage but then got preggers with this little one again 3 months later.XX

It's a good method to go with, just so you know it hurts like hell when they put it in as it feels like the holepunch you down there and rough sex isnt a good idea either as it can push it up and it can get stuck. good luck with whatever you choose, im thinking of just doing the pill.

Wesley gets fussy too when I put him in the bassinet. He's been sleeping in the bed with me, either on my chest or in the crook of my arm. But I think I figured out today how to get him to sleep in the bassinet. I put him down on his side today, and he's been in there doing just fine. He usually wakes up 1 or 2 minutes after I put him down, but he's been in there for all his naps!
