Here Comes # 2

We are expecting agian. Yeah! this one was planned in fact maby a little to well. I was taking Fertility Tests let me say those work a little to well. I got preggy within of week of deciding we were ready for # 2. This one is a little suprise the docs think he is a boy but the Little Turkey (Happy Thanksgiving) likes to go down in my hips and close his legs at my u/s so I guess s/he is very head strong already what's new were used to that with #1 but we will know soon enough!

WE WENT TO THE HOSSY AND WERE INDUCED AT 10AM AND HAD PITOCIN FOR 45MINS AND THEN WAS TAKEN OFF! I LABORED IN THE TUB AND THEN AT 6CM DIALATED GOT OUT OF THE TUB AND WENT FROM 6CM TO 9CM IN 15MIN. THEN STARED TO PUSH AND MY MIDWIFE STRECHED ME THE LAST CM TO 10CM AND HE WAS BORN AT EXACTLY 3PM.

hi just read your comment about being induced. and i just wanted to shed some light=) i was told the same thing i had to be induced but my doctor instead of using pitocin used cervadil-its a gel they put on your cervix. it worked GREAT!! i was in labor within a couple of hours and had a beautiful baby girl with no pitocin or anything else=) hope that helps maybe you could talk to your doctor.

I don't have experience in the inducing... I am expecting my first. I am sending you well wishes and will keep you in good thoughts and prayers. I imagine it's super hard, but try to think positive and focus on sending the baby lots of love. Try to choose the loving thoughts over the fearful ones.

I went up to L&D and was monitored for 4 hours and was examined. I am still very thick and high up but am dilated to 1cm.
The nurse told me that my baby is head down but is laying in the opposite direction that he should be and is probably the reason why I'm not dilating/effacing like I should be.
She also told me to discuss the use of cervidal with my midwife since it would be very helpful to me and probably will put me into labor without pitocin. So we'll see what my midwife says when I mention it.

I have contractions all the time as well. I have more at night and they are very painful but my cervix has not changed. I don't mind so much as I am having a c-section on Thursday. Good luck to you.

hmmm thanks for the advice...but well sex its kinda difficult because my husband has a weird schedule so he gets home late and tired :-( so that doesnt happen that often....as far as walking I cant that much because its been snowing like crazy here!!!arghh but I am on my feet a lot since I am student teaching sooo... the doctor said my cervix was really thin but I was a little less than a cm dilated! hopefully monday I will be more! thanks for the advice and all though!!!

Hi. Just thought I'd let u know you're not alone...funny how our men have the same name and r both assholes. Mine didn't come home the other night because he was too busy using crack...and I'm 3 weeks away from my due date. I too have no family...my mother passed away three years ago...and I have a 15 year old daughter to take care of. Just be strong honey...trust that everything will turn out. It's okay to be scared...and to feel alone...and like nothing u do is right. I'm right there with ya. If ya ever need to vent...I'm here.

Andrea I am sorry you are going through this in the worst time! But think about your little and beautiful girl and your baby! Take care of your family and look for help in your community! There is always some body that will be willing to give you a hand!

Hi! oh my!!! I'' pray for you!!!! CLose your eyes and think ONLY on the baby! this is a moment that you need peace. And being without your partner does not mean that you're are alone!! but please be careful!!! violence is not good! especially now. I think you should avoid him, till things settle... Do not get stress! be strong as never before!! keep the faith! It will be worth when the baby comes! DOn't be sorry for this!

The city or town that you live in can help you contact the major county that it resides in. Any and all counties have wonderful public services that would definately help you. Please look into it for you, your daughter, and your unborn. And don't forget - you can always turn to any church for help!

Hang in there. I am so sorry he is doing this to you and your children. I will say many prayers for you. I know you said you don't have any family but do you have any friends that could help out. I know it is hard to ask for help but sometimes it takes us swallowing our pride to ask for help. I don't know if you attend church but many churches reach out to people in need. Whether you are a member or not. Just a suggestion but I will say a prayer and pray that everything works itself out.
