Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

Well Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Hopefully this baby is just making room! Already stressing me out and he/she isn't even here yet! I know what u mean about the U/S. When the DR. did mine in the ER the baby just kept waving his/her hands in front of its face like 'No pictures again please!'See our babies just want to be left alone in privacy lol I hope all goes well with you and I will definitely keep you in my thoughts and prayers! Thank you for your story. It made me feel better! I'm glad your pregnancy is progressing. It's hard being on bedrest!..I actually had to go to the ER this morning because I started passing huge clots without pain. I thought for sure this is it. My luck has run out. But what do u know when the DR. did the U/S there was my little one moving around. The DR. was thinking maybe a small piece of the placenta maybe tore off and thats why I had bleeding and some of the bleeding in there turned into clots. So they are coming out now. So I hope all this will finally take a turn for the better. I am definitely taking care of myself. Keep me posted on how your doing. Are u going to find out what you are having or a surprise? Thank you again for your advice. BTW Congrat's on your pregnancy!

i;ve been a diabete for 13 years now, some years are good some years are not so good..i had my first child when i was 29 yrs old and during that time my sugar levels was very high, wasnt on any meds either,not saying it was a good thing, but thank god my baby boy was born healthy at 8pd 15oz. now i am 32 wks pregnant with my second child, its another boy, i am on insulin shots now, which i don;t mind,but just keep your sugar under control, during the years i had my own problems with my body dealing with my sugar, hopefully this child is healthy as well, good reports from the doctor..just take care of yourself, god bless you.

My sugar levels were high in the early weeks of my pregnancy too. My little guy is doing just perfect, no defects. He's going to be big, but healthy! I'm 24 weeks now and everything is great! Good luck to you!
