hello, im back, stupid infuriating internet, omg soo many probs with it at the min, but i think we have finally sorted it, well i had my first appointment with the midwife (shirley), i had her for my two youngest childrern too, so its nice that we already know eaach other, everything went really well, had the blood taken..ewww iu hate it but it has to be done, i also have to go back to the docs tomoz as my nephew has come out in chicken pox, and i am not sure if i have already had them, so im to go for another blood test and they will take it from there, his mam is also pregnant and they are giving her some anti bodies, also my other sis in law is preg but she is due anytime so they have said that she isnt at risk, which is great.

morning sickness is here, though i am not actually being sick i am feeling it, every day around late morning and late evening, and the heartburn has started kicking in on a night time! all fun and games, well its worth it i guess. Now to make lots of you happy..amy especially..steve wants to find out what we are having!!! he says he cant wait until the birth, and we cant agree on any boys names so he would love to know lol.

we got the date for our dating scan it is on the 4th march at 2:30pm..cant wait for that, nice to know that all is going ok, i will be around ten weeks by then. well will try an update sooner love and hugs to all my girls ttc and who are on the tww, love ya x x

wow what a week ive had, first of all tuesday afternoon i got a call from the midwife, telling me the doctor would like to see me about my blood results, as something had come back that something was low??, she made me an appointment for the following day, so wednesday at 5:10pm me n steve went to the docs, i expected them to say that my iron was low and they were putting me on iron tablets as usual, but oh no..basically they think i have a blood disorder called Thalassaemia..what your asking???, yeah me too..well the doc said, that it can cause bleeding and if steve is a carrier too then the baby will have it and be really poorly, i came out of there crying me eyes out, as that was all the doc told us, i was petrified, i rang my dad in tears trying to explain to him what i had been told, he rang me back that day after speaking to a doc friend of my mams, and here is the info...it is genetic ive had it all my life, all my family will have it, amazing that they havent picked up on it til now, its to do with my bone marrow not producing enough red blood cells (i think thats right), basically if steve doesnt have it the baby will be fine and has a chance of going on to be a carrier like me, if steve does have it, the baby has a 50/50 chance of getting it, which means that if it does it can be very poorly, we are waiting for steve to get his bloods done which wont be til next week.my mind has been al over the place trying to think of what to do, but now im just waiting on the results and hoping and praying that they come back clear.

A VERY BIG thank you to all of you who have been, leaving me messages regarding steve's blood work, he had the test yesterday, so we have a week til we know what is what, im ok now and stopped stressing lol. Anyway on a lighter note..Congratulations to steph, they are expecting another lil boy x x, i cant wait to find out what we are having as we cant agree on names for a boy, so im wishing for a girl lol.....so alfie has chicken pox!!..bless him he is covered from head to toe, im off to the docs in a bit to pick up a prescriptipn for some piriton (anti-histamine) to help releive it as it is really bad near his eyes, also in his mouth too, poor lil boy he just doesnt know what to do with himself, luckily the other too have had them, as have me and steve. Im now eating like a pig..literally, i just seem hungary all the time, and am paying for it, as i already have a slight bump!..oh well never mind. well apart from that steve has been busy getting our garden done, ive been doing what i can, also to alicia who will be finding out what her lil one is soon, hope you get what you wish for hunni X

im addicted to the fizzy cola bottles at the min, just cannot get enough of them!! and alicia is chomping away on the sour laces!! well at least the babies will love sweet n sour lol, what are we like hehe. All ok today, me n steve have been having a few probs but we are finally getting round to sorting them out we have been so stressed out that we have been taking it out on each other and we all know that isnt the way to go really, but its just another one of lifes lil trials i guess. Alfie is still off school, he is sat downstairs at the mo watching ceebeebies and playing on kierans DS, the chicken pox are driving him mad now as they are really starting to itch him. im getting excited as we only have 8 days til our first scan!! cannot wait to see lil bean, and to be reassured that all is ok, steve is really excited too, taiya can not do enough for me still and is constantly asking me if im ok, or if i feel sick, or the best one yet..are you aloud to eat that now your pregnant!! dont ask me what that was as i cant remember..(memory loss...), love to all x x

STEVES TEST RESULTS CAME BACK CLEAR!!

we got them last night, all is ok with him. so hopefully this means the baby will be ok, i have to see the doctor next week just to see wha happens now, and where i stand so to speak, as i hvent had another test yet to say wether i have it 100% ! unbelievable dont you think, well thats what e are aiming for this week, and to see what will happen if anything now in the future with myself and the children, you wouldnt believe what a relief this is to us, if steve had a been a carrier too theres was a high chance we would have to have terminated this pregnancy, horrible thought i know, something we really didnt want to think about, but luckily this lil bean is safe to keep growing, bless this lil angel, i know my sister is really looking after us, love you sis x

thank you for all your messages, you have all been such a great support, i hope i can do the same for you if you need me. Well we went a nd brought a new car yesterday..vauxhall zafira in silver, its gorgeous lol, kids dont know yet, we pick it up on wednesday, and we are not going to tell them til we get there, it will be so much easier for us now with more space, i cant wait to go see my dad in it..lol just a big kid at heart myself.

so on the pregnancy front..1st scan in ..3days!! yippee can not wait, steve's just told work so they fine with it. m/s has just about gone, i still cannot stand tea or coffee though, just makes me feel yucky for the rest of the day, still having some off days but generally feeling ok, still get tired around afternoon.just sooo happy to making it into the 2nd trimester soon. well love and babydust to all ttc and to all those of you already there, take it easy x

Hello all, well thought i would nip on and update, we had our first scan last tuesday, everything went really well, it was such a relieve to know that all was ok, steve grabbed my hand when they focused on the heart, it brought tears to his and my eyes, such a special moment. i have my next scan on the 9th may, so hold on til then to find out if we will be buying lots of blue or pink!, cannot wait, we have decided not to talk about names til then, well we already have the girls name, so we just need to chose a lads if thats what we are having. we picked up our new car wednesday, its amazing, we love it, we went out and got dvd players for the kids aswell so they never want to get out of the car now lol. im feeling great, still getting tired quite early which is hard on our ..love life..:)..but we will work through that one!!...it is taiya's 7th birthday on the 11th, we have brought her presents and are taking her out after school, she's looking forward to it so much, i just cant believe she's 7 already, they really do grow up so fast...well thats about all from me, alicia hunni dont forget to let me know x x

hiya all, well first of all..alicia i am so pleased for you hun, a lil girl to go with your gorgeous lil boy, congrats to you and your family. well sorry i havent been on sooner, my bro and sis in law had their first baby on wednesday, a lil boy, tyler james, 7lb 30z, and yep he is gorgeous!, my other sis in law is also preg, and expecting a boy, she is due at the end of may, im not waiting patiently to find out lol, i hate not knowing now, i just want to go and spend lol...well i have it the 12week mark!!! whoop whoop!!. also I DO NOT HAVE THALASSEMIA!, went to see shirley (my midwife) on tuesday, she was fuming that i had been told this, as i hadnt even had a test for it...i burst into tears, i was so relieved that me and my family was in fact ok.she had me do another blood test, but just to check my iron levels, get the results this week, just means i will most likely have to go on iron tablets again..:(

Taiya had a lovely birthday, we got her a massive magic set, and a secret diary type thing and then went out that night she had a great time so did i. Now the kids are off school for two weeks for easter, they have gone to their dads for a week, so im already bored (they only went yesterday!) but i dont look forward to house cleaning lol. so to all of you much love x x
