babys due date takes u up to 40 weeks, and most come around there due date, my first was 1 day early and im expecting this one to be around the 40 week mark too, i dont care what people say, having a baby at 36 weeks is still early, it will be ok, but theres so many people that want to kick start the labour with oils or teas, but everyday that baby is inside us us a good day, dont get me wrong theres loads of mums that have babies early for real reasons...
and yes i guess if we think about it, our babies can come anytime, but theres a due date for a reason and im holding out till then, lol

If it helps, I only gained .5 a pound between appointments...the nurse looked at me a little sternly, but when I told her I had been sick, she said no more. The good news is that I made up for it on the next appointment! 3 pounds! So if you doctor doesn't say anything, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Ask him/her if it makes you feel better, but my understanding is that is an average, not a definite figure our bodies are going to follow! And since the baby looks fine, I really wouldn't stress! Heck, I lost weight the first few months of pregnacy, started gaining, even gained 8 pounds in one month, and went back to a gradual weight gain over the last few months...so everyone is different!

I wouldn't worry, if the doc worries then you worry. I know women who actually lost weight during pregnancy not gained. Your body does what it needs to do. If baby is healthy just be happy you won't have much to loose. :)

UTIs are VERY common during pregnancy. Some antibiotics are okay during pregnancy... others are not. The two best meds for a UTI are Cipro and Macrobid. You can NOT take Cipro while pregnant but its completely save to take Macrobid. Make sure your going to your OB/GYN for all your doctor needs while pregnant because they know exactly what meds they can give you.

Hello. There is a natural product for urinary tract infections that actually works. You can find it in health food stores. It’s called D-Mannose. I’m recommending it because it has worked for me….really well! Ask your doctor if it’s safe to take during pregnancy. I’m sure it is but it’s always best to check with your doctor before trying anything new. Here is what the label reads:
D-Mannose is a simple sugar that occurs naturally in some plants, including cranberries. Although the human body metabolizes small amounts of D-Mannose, much of it is rapidly excreted in the urine. In the bladder, D-Mannose can adhere to bacterial lectins, preventing them from sticking to the lining of the bladder. Bacteria can then be flushed away during urination, thereby precluding the formation of colonies within the urinary tract. Because insubstantial amounts of D-Mannose are used by the body, it does not interfere with blood sugar regulation.

I was given antibitoics with my 2nd pregnancy because i got urianary tract infections and she was fine. The UTI is probably because of the blood flow and having to feel like you got to pee all the time and then you go and it's only a trickle that probably doesn't help! Good luck and i hope it gets better for you!!
