Keep mentioning the pain at your doctor's appointments and if it's that bad, they will send you to a physical therapist. I had sciatica a few weeks ago and the doctor said if it didn't get better by the next appointment, they'd send me to PT. She also suggested hot or cold compresses (whichever felt better), Ben-Gay and those arched back stretches in the meantime. Luckily the baby has shifted off of that nerve for me but I remember I was in agony just walking to the bathroom.

hi there i get sciatica andits horrible ,i have had it real bad but with htis pregnancy i get it herrre and there, i have had to drag my leg along in the past when been bad so can cope at mo when its not as bad . there isn`t really much you can do too except see a physiopherapist whole will tell you things like when picking up heavy objects bend you knees etc.. no help to me when i saw one as its common sense, hope you fele better with it soon, you can also get it later in life when oyu are or arn`t preg.. smile

I don't know if this will help or not but my husband has that really bad and the only thing that gives him any releif is stretching. You may go online and find some stretches for it, although idk how well you could do them being preggo and all. anyway, hope that helps a little!

I don't know if this will even apply to you but i'm gonna thro the idea out there anyway. I was having a lot of pressure/slight pain and finally went in for a urine test...turns out i had a urinary tract infection....so if the pain gets any sharper i would just run in for a urine test, can't hurt to check. I hope it's not and hope you are having a good pregnancy!!!!

Hi, I was reading you comment. I was actually having the same problem with the bad cramps, and went to the ER because I was concerned. Turns out its just from dehydration, so maybe you should try drinking more water and see if that helps.

Thank you!! I am glad to know I am not the only one with the water works lol Anyway I thought I was having a boy lol and then the truth came, so I hope your a ready for anything lol.... About the weight gain I wish I only gained 10 - 12 lbs lol I am up to 17 pounds and feel LARGE lol and I am only 21 weeks along. How many weeks are you? Hey,Yea we found out already.. I am having another girl lol At first I was really disappointed because I have girl already and I was really hoping for a boy but I am happy the baby is heathly and my daughter will have a sister and best friend. I dont find a hard time sleeping yet but thats because I am a little plus size so I am used to a little belly in front lol. I am a little down today though because my weight gain is tremendous and I dont really find myself overeating or eating anything of junk. How is your weight gain so far? I have gained 17 lbs and feel so unattractive :o( Anyway I will go on forever so let me say goodnite lol!
