I am a 27 year old elementary school teacher (3rd grade) in New York City. I was born raised in NYC. My husband and I have been together for 10.5 years, married for 6 years, and now have a beautiful, funny toddler!

I see some people have information about some of their parenting practices, so here are some of mine (I must say, though, that I don't like to pigeonhole myself into one specific way; I'm flexible and try to go with the flow and I discover what I like and dislike along the way): I had a homebirth with a midwife and a doula, breastfed until 10 months, we have been co-sleeping since birth, babywearer, I don't plan to officially potty-train (just let her tell me when she wants to sit on the potty), and we'll see about the rest. My daughter is only turning 2 this Friday! :o)
