Friday, 13 June Amen to that - I'm not ready AT ALL! I keep telling the little guy that he needs to stay in for another week or so. A little early is fine, but I need a little more time! greenrose -
Thursday, 12 June The discharge is likely from the doc examining you. All of our blood vessels are engorged and stretched in there and they can't help but break some when they do an internal exam. My doc doesn't do them weekly until I go into labor, cause he says it just hurts and makes you bleed. :S imamilf -

Wednesday, 28 May Yeah - that's my theory, too. I mean, if you think about it I'm sure there are tons of reasons that those pains are there, right? :) My appt is the 5th, so I'm just going to grit my teeth until then and see what they have to say. But by then we'll be 36 weeks and almost full term, so they'll probably not say much!! Thanks!! shanny122 -
Tuesday, 27 May Hello, I just read your comment about the pain in area 12-14 of the old lady body in week 34... I have been having the same thing so I called my doctor who told me it is called pubic symphysis pain. They said the pain is from the pubic bones separating as a preparation for birth. I get the pain when I walk...some days it bothers me more than others. It just started bothering me within the past week or so. I have been taking tylenol when it bothers me but it doesn't seem to do much. Hope that helps! heathert -
Thursday, 1 May I hate to admit I did also with my son ,totally embarassing! Yes it is runny and maybe if you do you won't know it. I knew! My husband and I never spoke of it though and I am glad. Don't worry too much the Dr. and nurs'e are surely used to it. littlemissi -
Thursday, 1 May at my child birth class the teacher (who has had 4 children) and taught the class for over 20 years told us that going poop on the table is actually uncommon, but a very common misconception. she said one of the signs you are going to be going into labor soon is that you will get diarreha for a few days. this is to clean out the colon. reason for this, is your body knows it needs all the space it can get down there and a big poop in your colon is going to make pushing a baby out harder. then, most hospitals wont let you eat after active labor starts, so chances of pooping on the table are slim. but most people worry about it anyway. heathert -
Wednesday, 30 April Yes very worried about having a BM while pushing baby out. It does happen but aren't we already going through enough without loosing anymore modisty. From what I have seen it is pretty runny not solid, sorry if too much info. Good luck! NOTE: Older messages are compressed to speed up the website.
