Hmmm... a little about me...

TTC since last April, and this April was our lucky month (found out the day before my birthday). We thought it would be a little easier than it was- didn't sex ed teach us all that we would become pregnant the second we put our guards down?- but I am just happy to have seen a heartbeat at six weeks. Had a m/c in November- not a great experience, but I thank God I didn't know I was pregnant until I wasn't anymore...

I can't wait to meet my little Christmas baby. Until then, I'll be nervously counting the days.

Hi there
Just got back from the hospital and yay! saw the baby and heartbeat, what a wave of emotion i felt, i actually started laughing! whoop!
So... at least I can now relax and be happy, i'm so happy to have had a scan early on, especially as most people over here in the UK don't get anything at all till 12 weeks.
hooray!
thanks so much for your support
love

Well I go to the doctor on Thursday. This week took forever to get here. I am looking forward to go, but am very nervous. Once I see the heartbeat, I will be better. I plan on using the doppler all the way til I'm due. It's nice to hear the heartbeat whenever you want. My 4 year old son will love to hear it too. We are getting ready for a big motorcycle rally this weekend and I just hope I can handle it being so tired. It was not this bad with my first. I work at a church during the week and wait tables on weekends and also clean houses, so I need energy. I plan on giving up the waitress job in August if I can make it that long. If I have a good pregnancy I should not have any problems. I will post how my appointment goes. Have a great week.

oh, thank you so much for your research, i'll look into it more, i must have been mistaken by saying they could see a fetal pole...i was just so worried because so many women can see a heartbeat at 6 weeks and my doctor couldn't even see the embryo!
xx

Hi there,
thanks for your message, i think they could see a fetal pole but no embryo - i think.
Do you no what that means?

Yes it was/is awful but I can honestly say it hurts no matter how far a long you are in your pregnancy. I buried one and didn't get to say goodbye to the other. It's hard either way but life does go on, knowing that my babies are safe and happy in Heaven sure does help. It's taken me almost a year to be able to say that.

But you know what, I have a really good feeling about this pregnancy. I think we're both going to have healthy happy babies at Christmas time :)

I know what you mean about being nervous when they are looking for the heartbeat. I would love a girl, but a boy would also be great. If I had a girl, I would have to go shopping, darn! I have all my boy stuff, but if it turns out that it is a girl, I will just have a garage sale. Are you experencing some weird sharp pains that come and go. I kinda remember that with my first one, but not all that well. Since I had a miscarriage before, I am very concerned about all the stuff I am felling. I bought a fetal doppler to hear the heart beat at home, but it has not gotten here yet. You supposely can hear it between 8 and 9 weeks, so as soon as I get it I will try to find it. I rented one with my son and it was great. This time, I bought one off ebay and figured I would just sale it when I am through with it. Talk to you soon.
