My profile

My name is Fiona and I'm 29 years old. Myself and my boyfriend have been trying for 9 months and were so surprised when we finally got a BFP! He didn't believe it and made me do another one the following morning!

Am very anxious about being pregnant and all being well, but who isn't!

I either feel hungry all the time or the thought of food repulses me so I just eat when I can and what I fancy. Going to need to buy some comfier trousers as feel really bloated after most meals.

Finding it really hard not to tell anyone until we've had our first scan at 12 weeks. Only our parents and brothers know so far.

Wishing all you other ladies lots of luck and good wishes with your pregnancies and looking forward to sharing our emotions, good times and horror stories!

How`s my pregnancy doing?

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sx

I didn't respond because I just got bad at logging on. My twin pregnancy is over...just a singleton! But we are so excited! We found out that one "didn't survive" on June 9. We saw our baby jumping around last week THAT as cool!

Yes. I did have an ultrasound last week. I found out I was only 6 weeks. I just had a baby in January and I have not had a period since last year, so we didnt know how far along we were. SO I am 7 weeks today. I'm feeling soooo sick now :( I can't eat anything.

Hi Fiona,

Thank you so much for replying to me, your response gave me reassurance - it's positive to know you are not alone & that everything may still be okay. I have a doctors appt this morning so hoping he will confirm the baby's heartbeat & I can relax again! Good Luck with your pregnancy.

My pregnancy is going very well so far thank you. Money is always a worry for any pregnant lady I think, im worrying as Im going to be a single parent, but hey these things happen for a reason dont they?! If its temp work then just see if they have a contract which is for a few months, I started my job when I was pregnant, I didn't know at the time but they are fine about it, I just have to apply for my SMP myself instead of getting it thru work. Everything will work out fine. My mum tells me to stop worrying all the time, its not good for me and its certainly not good for the baby!!!xXx

glad that all is well with you and bubs...Im the same, feel crap in the mornings and afternoon and night though the last few days have been pretty good for me...I dont have my first appointment till July the 1st which makes me 13 weeks and that really sux...We in Australia dont have ultrasounds till 20 weeks but if they think there is something wrong they will do it sooner...

Hello...my name is Amber. I just had a baby in Jan and I'm pregnant again!! LOL It was the best experience of my life and I couldn't wait to do it again! Anyway, I wanted to let you know that I felt the exact same way my last pregnacy. I started to not really want to eat certain things and the smell and site of meat started to repulse me...by the time I was 8 or 9 weeks I was really nauseous all the time. I couldn't eat anything for about 2 months. I don't want to discourage you, but I really couldn't eat anything except fresh fruits and vegatables and smoothies. I couldn't even eat plain bread!! LOL I had at least one or two smoothies a day...I would put yogurt and fresh fruit and wheat germ to get my nutrients. I had a wonder healthy baby even though I couldn't eat for a while!! I did feel really bad for my fiance, as I didnt want to go to any restaurant and I certainly wouldn't cook! I think I'm about 6-7 weeks pregnant now and not really feeling sick yet. I just feel hungry all the time! I hope this lasts!

Thank you for the encouragement. My OB is one of my best friends so I do get some special treatments. We were TTC for 6 years so being pg is so scary for me!
