Hello Ladies! My name is Roberta and live in Pennsylvania, USA. This is our first pregnancy and my husband and I are really excited. I am 23 years old, and he is 31. We are expecting a girl on April 13, 2008. After much discussion, we have decided that her first/middle name will be Mackenzie Summer!

Wes and I were engaged on July 26, 2007 and we found out we were pregnant on August 5, 2007. We were planning a July 12, 2008 wedding, but moved it up after finding out we were pregnant... and got married on September 30th!! It was a great choice for us, and couldn't have asked for a better day!

Our pregnancy was not really planned. I forgot to get BC pills for the next month (JULY) and figured "Oh I'll just get them next month" and sure enough...there was no next month! We got pregnant in July. My doctor pinpointed the conception date at 7-7-07. Give or take a day. But I guess it was fate, beings the lucky number 7's. We couldn't be happier with our little gift from God...and can't wait to meet her. Wes has already so many things planned for her such as buying her a goat, a horse, and a pomeranian dog. I secretly think he wants all those things, but will use her as an excuse to get them!!! HAHA how cute!

WHAT TO TAKE TO THE HOSPITAL

• Extra set of clothes for you to leave in
• Take home clothes for the baby
• Insurance cards and any hospital paperwork you have not already turned in
• A CD if you plan on listening to music in your room
• Bathroom toilitries such as: deoderant, toothbrush + paste, pads, hair brush, hair ties, any make-up you might want, chap stick or lip balm, body lotion, soap, travel size shampoo + conditioner if you don't want to use the hospitals
• Pajamas and a robe (so if you want to get up and walk, your back-side doesn't hang out)
• Socks and slippers
• A blanket if you get cold easily
• A pillow from home (bc hospital pillows stink!)
• Magazines or a book
• Toy or stuffed animal to put in your baby's crib (if you hospital allows this)
• Baby record book or anything else you would want your baby's handprints/footprints on
• Camera and film ( don't forget the film!!!)
• Video recorder (make sure the battery is fully charged and has a blank tape too!!)
• Snack pack for your spouse for when he gets hungry (hospital food is expensive!)
• Extra change of clothing for your spouse if he plans on not leaving the hospital
• Address book if you plan on calling/writing family and friends from the hospital to let them know your little bundle of joy has arrived
• A smile!!!!
