Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Tuesday, 24 June my doctor told me they won't do anything about edema unless your blood pressure is high and you are swollen. I'm swollen too and miserable. Good luck! AprilChristine -
Friday, 20 June the due date thing. I have the same problem. computers tell me the 21st and the dr. says the 23rd.
They use those ancient little paper wheel things to calculate it. the computer figures in leap years, so I'm thinking that's the reason it's off by two days. jenny180387 -

Tuesday, 17 June a membrane sweep is when you are checked for dilation and the doc takes their finger and kinda 'sweeps' it around the opening of your cervix quickly (VERY uncomfortable)to seperate your membranes from the walls inside. (hoping that your water will break, OR that you will develop contractions hard enough to bring on labor---usually within 48 hours).

Saturday, 14 June Don't feel bad...I haven't started anything at all either! This is our 3rd baby and they say you always deliver early. I'm getting pretty bummed myself and very tired of being pregnant but I know he will come when he is ready and so will yours. Good Luck! spifftiff88 -
Saturday, 14 June i have 8 days left and haven't lost my MP, really not dialated at all, walk over an hour a day, no contractions...some minor cramps once and awhile, but that's all. nothing is progressing :( 2ndtimehopeful -
Saturday, 14 June Hey I am feeling the same way as you. My cervix is closed tight. My baby hasn't dropped yet. I haven't lost my plug. I haven't had any contractions...NOTHING. I only have 10 days left til my due date. I was even hoping I might get induced cause i have really high blood pressure but no. I started drinking raspberry leaf tea and taking primrose oil yesterday to get myself ready for labour. I'm sure I will still be late. LVGIRL -
Saturday, 14 June Don't feel bad... I am 1 CM dialated- but no effacement. No loss of plug, I get the Bh contractions sometimes, but that's it. I asked my doc about induction and she said the would only consider it if there's a medical reason or if I get to 41 weeks, and still no baby. I am pretty bummed. christabell -
Saturday, 14 June You may have no progress, but some people who have had progress may end up having their baby after you. Wouldn't it be worse if you started out at like 2 cm at 35 weeks and stayed that way? How crappy would that be? I'm sure things will happen sometime soon. :) Laura Ward -
