January 8th, 2008~

Well, after a bout with a stomach virus, think things are starting to get somewhat settled in the stomach area! I never thought Morning Sickness would be as much as it was, but I guess my body was undergoing a minor change!! Things seem to be ok, I have monthly check-up tomorrow, and as normal there is an impending feeling of nervousness. I get like this before every check-up because I worry they're going to tell me something is wrong. There have been no signs of anything, but am a very worrisome person. Last night, I was laying on the couch, and Gracie (one of our dogs) came up and licked my belly, thought maybe it was because might have spilled food on my shirt when cooking, but then she put her head on the couch next to me, and turned so her ear was right up against the belly. She sat for a couple of minutes, then turned looked at me, and then looked straight at the belly. It was funny, don't know if she was just curious or if she heard something only dog ears can hear! My hubby thinks I'm crazy!

Go to the doctor today, really nervous!

January 17th, 2008~

Everything went well at the doctor, got to here lil schlegel's heartbeat, was steady @ 146! Only issue was my blood pressure, was high. I have a white coat fear, by the time I left it was back to normal. My doctor scolded me...so I am going to work on the whole fear thing. We'll see how that goes, has to go well it's for my health~Go back again the 6th of February, and between that appointment and the March appointment will have another ultrasound, so we might be finding out if we're having a boy or girl :) Hubby is getting really excited, hoping to start the nursery this weekend, but there is a deep freeze in the forecast...so probably not! We're going with a sun/moon theme, he has this whole image in his mind, so I'll let him role with it:)

January 23rd, 2008~

This has been the best week! Feeling the best I've felt in a long time, have tons of energy & super happy!!! Figured out the numbness in my hands and arms is from carpel tunnel developed during pregnancy, who knew? SO have to see a specialist to figure out some exercises and things to do to eliviate the pain. Counting down the days until the next appointment :)

February 7th, 2008~

Had 20 week, everything good. Heartbeat at 140. Ultrasound is February 15th. Can't write much super busy (for once) at work :)

February 19th, 2008~

We had our ultrasound on Friday...IT'S A GIRL!! Everything looked great, fluid was good, heartbeat was at 130, she was sleeping :) Everytime the tech pushed at her, she would bat back at the movements, reminds me of her daddy, likes to sleep :) We decided at the beginning of the pregnancy if it was a girl her name would be Ella Lee Schlegel. First name is my great-grandmothers, middle name is His Grandfathers name. As soon as we left the doctor we went and got little girl onesies. I will post her pictures when I have another free minute.

May 20th, 2008~

So it has been forever since I've written anything on this. SO better late than never, nearing the end of week 35, which means less than 5 weeks until DD!!!! She dropped even lower Sunday night, resulting in not much sleep. Getting up every hour to pee, between that waking up to try and manuveur a new sleeping position. So much fun :) We finally are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel for her bedroom, more stuff to hang on the walls this week. We just got an IKEA and they have super cute sun and moon lights that we received at our shower so busy trying to find places to put them. We got her name letters this past weekend, I was going to get all artsy-craftsy with them, but that changed real quick when we bought them. We'll go with white now, maybe when I have my time off after she's born I'll try to squeeze that in! Wishful thinking. Go tomorrow for appointment, need to find out how big doc thinks she is. This will be interesting.

June 13th, 2008~

Yeah, the light at the end of the tunnel is finally coming into sight. Having tons of irregular contractions, pelvic pain and I feel like this little girl has her head right on my bladder!!! After waiting this long, this last month has taken FOREVER to pass by!!
