Today we found out we are expecting our first little one. My first thought was how am I going to tell Al and our family and friends. My next thought was wow I can't wait to see and hold my baby. I have been sleeping almost all day everyday for the last couple of weeks. We are 5 1/2 weeks today. The first person I told was my cousin Mike and his son. I then called Jackie and told her and her dad then went over to their house to wait for Al to get off of work. When he came in I handed him the bag of stuff the doctor gave me with pregnancy magazines and stuff in it he looked in the bag and came out smiling walked over to me and gave me a hug and a kiss. He then asked me when the baby is due. The next day he wanted to go to Wal-mart to look at baby stuff.

September 25 2007

Today I had a dr appt with Dr. Stalker... Yeah what a weird name for a dr but she is really really nice and made me feel comfortable. She did a pap smear and tried to find the babies heartbeat and ordered us an u/s. We went for the u/s and got to see the baby for the first time I can't believe how small the baby is. The baby was kicking and squirming like crazy although I can't feel it yet. We got to see the heartbeat at a amazing 167 bpm. Can't wait to see my little one again. We are 10 weeks at this appt.

Today we moved to Moose Jaw what a relief but I am so tired. Heard the song Going Home by Daniel Powter or something like that as I was cresting the hill to Moose Jaw and started bawling like crazy could barely drive.

October 18 2007

Today I woke up really early with the realization that this is really happening and wow only 25 more weeks till we get to see and hold the baby again. I am also getting really excited and waiting until I can see and hold the baby. Can feel my uterus expanding and stretching and finally my boobs do not hurt all the time only half the time.

November 1 2007

Today I went and got a flu shot as they give them to women who are pregnant. When I got home I was really really tired and went to lay down. When Al got home I was really really angry and grumpy with him. I feel really bad but he keep annoying me.

Today we watched the Grinch and I was craving ketchup chips which is odd for me as I don't like that kind at all. Today I am 16 weeks and can't wait till wednesday to see the baby again, hopefully we can find out if it is a boy or girl. Man am I tired.

November 7 2007

Today we got to see the little one again and heard it's heartbeat. It was amazing to see how much the little one has grown since the last time we seen it. We tried to find out what the little one was but the little rascal keep moving everytime the u/s tech tried to find out. After the u/s we went to my friend Brenda's house and showed her the pics. Al took the pictures and put them on his cell phone which made me cry again. This little one has it's daddy wrapped around it's little fingers. I think I felt the baby move today but I am not too sure it felt really weird. We have another doctor's appt on November 13 hopefully he will give us another u/s so we can find out what baby is then.

November 9 2007

We are from Saskatchewan and I am currently just staying at home trying to find a job that will hire me because most don't want to hire someone who is just going to leave in 5 months anyway. I am happy we got pregnant when we did as my friend from elementary school is also pregnant and is due in Feb and my cousin is also prego and is due in March on my birthday none the less.

I got sick today for the second time through the whole pregnancy I don't think my baby likes grapefruit juice so I will just have to stop drinking it. I can't cook or I can't eat so it is really hard to care when my boyfriend comes home from work and wants supper on the table and I don't feel like making anything for him. Oh well maybe in like 5 months.

November 13 2007

Today we had our dr's appt with dr. Brown he is the guy who is delivering our little one. We looked at the u/s results and everything is ok which is great. I heard the heartbeat for I assume the first time and started crying again. The dr told us we will be getting a lot of u/s so I am really excited He gave me an u/e requisition form for December 7 and we will hopefully get to find out then what the baby is. Then I can go crazy and buy baby stuff in a gender specific colour. Our next dr's appt is December 11th. We will be 21 weeks then.

November 20 2007

Today I am really really sure I felt the baby move. I can't believe it is only 5 more months till I get to hold the little one. I am tired right now and last night I cried because I can't hold my baby yet. Yesterday I was craving Chicken and ceaser salad man it was good. Only 18 more days until we get to see the baby again I can't wait. Is it MaKenna or Bradyn?

November 28 2007

Today is the 100th day since we found out we are pregnant. Only 143 more days left until I get to hold my little one. Only 9 more days until we are supposed to be able to find out what the little one is. I don't have a preference I would like a girl but as long as it comes out healthy I am happy. When I find out I am going SHOPPING for baby stuff. I hope baby lets us see so I can go buy lots of stuff. Today we also put up the crib in our bedroom all I have to do is wait until this little one comes so I can put the baby in it. I have been cleaning the house like mad and Al seems to think I am crazy or something cause I keep cleaning and giving him crap for leaving stuff laying around. I am 19 weeks 3 days only another 20 or so weeks till I get to hold my baby.

December 7 2007

Today we went for our ultrasound that was supposed to reveal the babies gender. The technician was very rude and tried and tried to find out and the little one kept it hidden on us again. I am disappointed that I didn't get to find out what the baby is and hope the dr gives us another ultrasound so we can try to find out what it is. Only 4 more months until I get to hold the baby I can't wait.

December 8 2007

Today was ok until I ate supper I was ok then went to take a quick shower was still feeling ok then went to get dressed and started to feel sick . I finished getting dressed just barely and ended up puking up ALL my supper it was so gross. I haven't been sick all that much so I don't know why I get little episodes where I get sick all of a sudden.

December 11 2007

Today we had a dr's appt and mom came with me. We did the usual pee test, weight, blood pressure, listened to the heart beat. Mom asked some questions and the dr told us we are going to get montly ultrasounds. I am soooooooo excited. The heart rate was 142 bpm and I have only gained 7 lbs so far which is very nice. Our next ultrasound is January 11, 2008 and hopefully we can find out the gender if the little one doesn't hide it again on us. Our next dr's appt is January 8, 2008 and we start prenatal classes in February.
