Hello Ladies, Most people call me Kia, I am pregnant with my first child who we now know is a little boy who will
be name Kai (pronounced like eye but with a K). I'm a special education teacher for grades 2-5, I love my student
I am in a loving relationship with my high school sweetheart
he is AWESOME! I love him so much in so many different ways, I couldn't choose to have my first child by a better
man. He's a man that I don't completely understand but I think that's how he likes it, he's a man that want let you
hold his whole hand instead he'll give two fingers to hold on to but he will insure you that he want let go. Honestly I don't think
we will ever get married, but I do know that he will be my friend for the rest of my life and for that I'm thankful.
Kai was SO UNPLANNED, I was on the birth control patch when I got pregnant.
I would like to gain long-term friends from this site and support from mothers that can help me be a better
mother, for I have never seen how a REAL mother is suppose to treat her child, because my mother was as far away from
being a REAL mother to the point its unreal.

i cant believe Hailey is already 2 months old (on nov 10th) We went to the drs on the 16 and she weighs 8 lbs 15 oz...still a little peanut but growing good! We have had to switch formulas to Enfamil AR because she was spitting up A LOT and sometimes throwing it all up but this seems to be working but now her poo seems to be harder to get out and maybe her tummy hurts....not sure...but this formula is a lot thicker so i dont know shes only been on it about a week so we will see how it goes. Hope everyones doing great

DJ is 3 weeks old and he will not sleep in his co-sleeper/bassinett. It pulls right up and is flush with the bed, so I can touch him for comfort. But the only way to get him to sleep through the night (w/2-4 feedings a night) is for him to sleep on my chest. I have tried letting him fuss it out a bit, but he ends up fully crying. I have tried putting a heating pad in there (the pediatrician recommended that one) and even put a clicking clock on the side for him to hear it. I DO NOT want to sleep with my baby, but it's the only way I can get a few hours of sleep. Even then thought I am not fully sleeping. Does anyone have any suggestions? THANK-YOU!!

Quick update: Kaiden and I are doing well. He'll be 1 month old on the 21st.. next Saturday. He's lost his umbilical cord stump and his circumcision has healed perfectly! Kaiden is 8lbs now and the most alert baby I know. BF is going well. He is nursing every 2-3 hours or whenever he's hungry. Awake most of the day..eyes wide open. And can now smile, laugh out loud and hold his up while on his tummy.

Me..I'm losing all my baby weight. I am 6lbs shy of my pre-preggo weight. My appetite is back. And I feel great!
