I'm expecting a baby girl, due February 19th.. **Elizabeth Claire** 'Claire Bear' & 'Libby Lou' are her adorable nicknames.. She's already a spoiled princess, I have an ungodly amount of clothes myself; and she's surpassing me by comparison! My mom bought an amazing crib..from WalMart..it was on sale for 150 bucks..it's solid walnut and it's a 4 in 1..(crib, toddler bed, daybed, and full size bed frame with head and foot board)-You just can't beat that! Plus, it looks awesome, it's a sleigh style crib. We're still working on getting the rest of the furniture and hoping for some great baby gifts from the family--I'm having a virtual babyshower.. Most of my family and his are too far away, so it works out that way. =] Anyhow, I've received a lot of help from my family, they're amazing! My mom and sister have outfitted this baby for the next year!--my mom is a shopping fanatic! It's worked out so far, I get maternity clothes and my daughter gets a rockstar wardrobe. Pretty sweet. Pretty spoiled for a poor girl!

I thought I wasn't gaining enough weight at first, I lost 15 pounds in the first trimester from horrible morning, noon, and night sickness. Throughout my second trimester I gained 22 lbs. so that evened me back out..not so bad! Now in the start of the third trimester and feeling stretched beyond all possibilities, I'd like to just stop gaining. I don't mind all that goes on with pregnancy, as the end result is wonderful--I get a beautiful, precious baby! I'd just like to be comfortable again..it's no fun being squished on the inside and stretched on the outside. I've only gained in my belly and breasts and I'm still "cute" pregnant, I'll be thankful for that at least. I've had to go up several bra sizes already, I can just imagine how HUGE I'll be when my milk comes in. Wowza! The boombabas have turned into GONZAGAS!

I wish everyone the best with your pregnancies and your lives..always smile and think about the great things happening and keep that in your heart while you get through the hard parts. It really does help. ;]

@ 38 weeks now... I'm so anxious!!! I can't believe my baby girl will be here so soon! You wait and wait and anticipate everything and then right before it happens---it seems like you haven't had enough time.. Life is funny that way. =) I can't go grocery shopping without having contractions and attracting attention...we even tried a faster shopping trip tonight, and I still started them up! After only 20 minutes in the store....first my sciatic pinched in my right buttcheek, then a 'period like cramp' wrenched in my lower abdomen and bam back pain and heavy legs...hip pain... Uhg! I just kept walking after that, I figured if she was ready...bring it on!! If not she'd settle back down and I could get my tasks done. So I even helped with the grocery bags, did some dishes, and made myself a fruit salad...all while contracting and laughing them off. Wubby was a little taken back when I laughed at them, "why are you laughing?!", he asked -very confused. I told him that I'd felt all this before, I can handle it...so I'm just laughing and waiting for something to REALLY happen. Mind over matter my sweet! He seemed impressed and quit pressuring me to go sit and relax and let me do my thing. He made dinner and prepared some pork ribeyes for tomorrow night, they'll be very nicely marinated in his homemade butter/herb sauce---I can't wait!! I finally stopped contracting and just feel very tight and sore...my new nightly complaint. This belly is SO HEAVY..I swear my little baby has turned into a 20 lb bowling ball----someone switched her out...and it's not funny. =P Not to me anyway... =/ I slept on my couch last night...I was just so miserable, I decided it was easier to just stay put and deal with it. I toss and turn less on the couch anyhow, which lessens the pressure on my tight belly, hips, & back....

My doctor is going to check my cervix again this Thursday and we'll get an estimate of how much longer we should have until Libby Lou's birth...also I'm promised that I won't have to go post-term! If I don't go into labor naturally in the next two weeks, we'll be inducing and she will be here reguardless! That is very exciting to me...knowing that NO MATTER WHAT I'm going to have my baby in just a couple of weeks-----WOW. Wubby says he's ready for her now, he was convinced she'd be born this past weekend, or have been a SuperBowl baby....but she's still snug as a bug in there. My Mom will be here next Wednesday, the 13th...I think I can wait ONE more week, quite happily! I'm not THAT anxious to have a newborn all to myself....I want my Mommy. =D I'm no fool.

Uhg..I can't take this backache much longer! I was up and down all night long---my back is screaming and this bowling ball in my pelvis feels awful. Woe is me...last two weeks of pregnancy just have to be the most amazing, don't they?! haha I'm craving pizza rolls and a chicken sandwhich this morning...I've already had breakfast, so I guess that will be my lunch. I've been eating chicken sandwhiches like crazy for a few days now..must be needing a lot of protein. That and my mandarin oranges obsession...getting my vitamins! Other than my preggo complaints...things are going REALLY well. =D Richard is Mr. Sweetheart and it's friggin' awesome...cooking for me, giving me backrubs, holding me and kissing me for no reason, doing my laundry!!, spending a lot of time with me-just cuddled up and talking, when we do have sex--it's so sensual! OMGosh! He's really opened up and he's making every effort to do the right thing and make me happy...I really didn't see this happening! I'm friggin' thankful and happy it is though...my baby loves me and he's finally figured out how to show it. =) He's really worried about me giving birth, he said he's scared to see me in pain...he's not sure if he'll be okay having to watch me "make that face" and be torn open... I told him I'm not sure I'll be okay either..haha Just to hold my hand, rub my back, and help me stay focused *&* make sure I get DRUGS!

I think it'll all be okay..my doctor is awesome--a lot of women hold him in high regard here. He stays on top of everything, doesn't allow his nurses to slack off, patients get good care...babies are healthy...momma's are healthy.. I'm in good hands. =D I may have already said this..but I'm havin' this baby within' the next TWO WEEKS...that's so UNREAL!!! wow. I just stare at Libby Lou's crib and it scares me to think she'll be in there soon and if I'll be a really good momma..if she's going to be a happy baby..all I can do is worry! I guess that's pretty damn normal. =)
