Hello to all of you expectant mothers out there! My husband and I will be married for 4 years on March 20th, and we are expecting our first child this September. I have not went to the doctor yet, but two hpt came back positive. We are waiting to tell our families until we have a doctor give us our due date. We are so excited, but it seems as if it is all happening sooo slow. I can't wait to be a mommy! My only symptom so far has been very sore and itchy breast. It feels good to be able to share this all with someone finally. I will keep everyone posted. Bye For Now!

Yesterday I went for my blood test. I will have the results when I go back for my first prenatal on February the 19th. I will also have my u/s then as well. I will keep everyone updated.

Okay, so I haven't posted here in a while. When I went for my appointment on the 19th, my Doctor would not let me hear the heart beat. She said it was too early, and that I would be upset if I did not hear anything. I tried to tell her that I have heard from so many other mothers that had theirs done much earlier than 9 weeks. She was very nice about it, but she still refused. So now I have to wait until the 19th of March. It seems like an eternity. Other than that I have been fine. I thought I was done with feeling sick, but I was face down on the throne for the first time today. It happened at work of all places. I think I stuck my toothbrush too far in my mouth. I am also very HUGE!!!! I have only gained 2 pounds, but my belly is getting very hard, and is sticking out as if I am five months. I will only be 11 weeks tomorrow. Well that is only according to my doctors, and my own calculations. I am almost hoping that there are 2 or 3 babies in there. That way I will have a logical reason for being this big. I am saying this now, but I know deep in my heart 1 baby is all my husband and I need, and can afford. Well if anything interesting happens I will let everyone know. Good Bye for now.

Well today I finally got my ultrasound! It was the most amazing day since I found out I was expecting. At first it seemed as if the baby was sleeping. The doctor then gave my tummy a nudge, and the baby started rolling and waiving it's arms in the air. My husband and I like to believe that the baby was waiving at us. It was the cutest thing ever. My heart just melted. We also got to hear the heartbeat, and the doctor said that it was a healthy 150. She also moved me to 14 weeks, but did not adjust my due date just yet. It is all very real now. All I knew was that my belly was getting huge, and I was getting sick, but now I KNOW there is a healthy baby in there. She said I will be able to find out the sex by the end of next month. I am just so ready to start preparing the nursery. My husband is going to have to move his "guy's" room into the office. My m/s is slowly but surely fading away. I am actually starting to like food again. Grapes have been my best friend for the last week. No matter what kind of mood I am in, they always tatse so great, and make me feel happy! I can finally relax a little. I just wish I did not have to work, that would make my life soo much easier. Well good bye for now. It is 10:40pm, and 1 hour and 40 minutes past my bed time. I will try to get thos u/s pictures posted tomorrow.

Yesterday was the most exhausting day thus far. At work we have been going through a system change that is causing everyone to work 12 or more hour days. 5 of these hours are spent in a training class looking at a computer. It has been going on since Monday, but yesterday was the absolute worse. I could not stay awake for anything. I finally had to get up and walk around the room several times. To top it all off, it was my 4 year wedding anniversary. My husband wanted to at least do dinner and a movie, but after being at work for 12 hours I could only do dinner. He was a little down, but he soon got over it. I promised I would make it up to him this weekend.
On a much better note, I felt the baby move this morning! I woke up around 4:50am after having a bad dream, and I after I calmed down, I laid on my right side, with my stomach down just a bit. I began to feel all kinds small of thumps, and squirms. It lasted off and on for at least 6 or 7 minutes. I grinned all the way back to sleep. I have experienced more than my share of gas this pregnancy, and what I felt was definitely not gas! I can't wait to feel it again!

It's A GIRL!!!!!! We found out on Thursday, and I am just over the top thrilled. I had an appointment on Wednesday, and they would not do an u/s, but scheduled it for May 14th. Call me crazy, but I could not wait. I begged and pleaded with my husband to allow me to spend $90 to find out the sex. After hours of pulling teeth, he finally gave in. It was the cutest moment ever. I kept saying that I did not care, but deep down inside I had a preference for a baby girl. Now it is official. I am trying not to get ahead of myself, but tomorrow I plan on hitting the stores. I really want to start on the nursery more than anything. As for the pregnancy, everything is going pretty good. The only problem is that I get so uncomfortable at night. If I do a lot of walking or standing during the day, I pay for it at night. My butt aches and aches, and not matter how I lay, the pressure does not let up. I feel like I am 80 years old when I try to get out of the car, or out of the bed. I can not even imagine what it will be like when I hit 7 or 8 months. I have heard that women tend to carry girls behind instead of the front. It could be an old wives tail, but I have had this pressure since I was 7 weeks. I promise to post pictures of my baby girl in all her glory as soon as I get home! Good bye for now ladies.

I just posted her latest picks. At first she was being stubborn like her father and didn't want to let us take a peak. Next thing you know she would not keep her legs closed! There is just so much to think about when it comes to girls!

We had our big ultra sound yesterday, and let me just say that my baby girl is HUGE! The tech said that she "should" be around 9-10 oz. She is 1 pound and 3oz. I really need to watch what I am feeding her. She is measuring 2 weeks ahead of schedule, and her legs are very long and strong. I was wondering why her kicks were so strong and hard. I guess her size says it all! I have a gut feeling that she is going to come that last week in August. I know it's far off from my due date, but I just have this feeling. I could be totaly wrong, but I won't count it out. I love her to death already. I always wanted a nice plump juicy baby, but I think I am getting more than I asked for. I told her that mommy is going to slow it down, so that she won't be a junior whopper. lol. I am feeling great so far, I just have gotten very lazy. I don't want to do a thing when I get off work. I can't wait for my burst of energy. Bye for now ladies!

So ladies, I finally got a burst of energy. With the help of my bestfriend, we cleaned out the babies closet(used to be game room), and we cleaned out the office closet. All of this was done 3 days ago. Then yesterday, I removed the fouton from the game room into the office. It was not heavy at all. I did a test before I lifted it. After my husband game home, he moved the television into our bedroom, and placed ours into the office. The office is starting to get a little cramped. So now there is nothing in our daughters room, so he will paint next week. My parents are buying all of the nursery furniture. The only bad thing is that they are making me wait until the end of June before they make the purchase. Oh well, I can't complain since it is a gift.
Baby Girl is doing well. I have changed my eating habits just a bit. I have even started exercising. It tends to help with the circulation in my feet. My next appointment is June 10th. I don't have another u/s until 32 weeks, so I guess it is just going to be a bp and weight check. Talk to you all soon!
