Update on Aug. 16, 2008

Yesterday I had my 9 week ultrasound and there was no heartbeat. My baby has gone to heaven. I will have a D&C on Tuesday morning. My heart is broken. This is my 2 nd miscarriage and it is getting harder and harder to be hopeful.

I went to the RE b/c I had a 1 day period last month. She did an u/s a found out that my uterine lining was thin. ( I had a u/s after the m/c and another one in March and my uterine lining was thin at that time). On ovulation day(June 23) my lining was measuring 6.4. The RE did not encourage us to do the IUI b/c of the uterine lining being so thin so she put me on Prometrium(progesterone) vaginally 200mg 2times a day. We tried on our own and it worked!!!!

UPDATE

Finally a BFP!!!!! I took a HPT last Sunday and Wednesday and both were +. I had a beta hcg drawn on Thursday and it was 200. I will repeat the beta hcg on Monday to make sure everything is progressing as it should. I am sooo scared and excited. I hope it sticks! Thanks to everyone on this website for all of their thoughts , prayers and support!

I have been having cramps and a little spotting so I had a ultrasound today. It was amazing! The heartbeat was 160! I have another u/s next friday to make sure everything is going well.

JUNE 15th, 2008

I just got back from Costa Rica. It was a blast! We went white water rafting, ziplinning, hiked through the rainforest, etc. Anyway, AF arrived on the 9th much to my dismay. I do not know why I am not getting pregnant. I am very upset an frustrated! Oh well, we will try again this month and hope it works.

UPDATE JUNE 5 2008

I am waiting and waiting-not having fun. On May 24 I had the IUI with dh sperm. I was not on any meds. I hope it works! I am leaving for Costa Rica on Sat. so I will writ an update when I get back. AF is due on Monday. Have a great weekend!

Today is December 13, 2007 and still not pregnant. It has been almost 6 months since the m/c and i am very confused because it happened so fast last time. I had a OB/Gyn apt. yesterday and he did a bunch of tests, including FSH, Lh levels and a thyroid test. In 2 weeks he will do an ultrasound to make sure I am ovulating and then he will go from there.

Update January 14th, 2008

My tests are normal. The ultrasound was to check the thickness of my uterine lining and that was normal as well. We will BD this month and see what happens. The Dr. says that there is only a 10-15% chance of getting preggers every month. Even when everything is normal. I have read 25% every month. Either way not great odds. So I guess I have to be patient and hope for a BFP at the end of the month.

Feb. 4,2008Well here we go again. AF showed up 7 days ago. I guess we have to be patient. My husband and I are going to Steamboat, Co. to ski maybe thats what we need `a vacation `. Baby Dust to everyone ttc!

Update Feb. 27No luck this cycle. I very disappointed and I am getting discouraged. I decided to got to the RE for more tests and assistance. My appt. is March 17. I will post an update asap! Baby dust to all ttc!

Just got back from the Bahamas for our 1 year anniversary! A year already! It was beautiful and we had a blast! I cannot wait to go to the RE and get answers and get this show on the road! Sweet Dreams and Baby Dust!

Well I just got back from the RE. Everything went well and now I have to do the 3 and 10 day FSH and Estridol tests and the HSG (Xray of the fall. tubes). He also perscribed Clomid to help for the test results and maybe help aid in a BFP next month. All of this is contingent on me not being preggers this month. AF is due this week. The RE will let us know the plan of action after the next month of testing. I am thinking he will be pretty aggressive considering my age. He mentioned maybe IUI after the test results come back(if they are normal). Also, DH has high sperm count but the shape is at 24% and a good # is 30%( for normal shaped sperm) That is why the IUI may be the next step for us. We are praying for a speedy BFP! This has been a very long agonizing road an I will be happy to be barefoot and pregnant! Baby Dust to all of the ladies ttc!
