Hello all you Wonderful Women ! My name is Brittney and I'm a 23 yr old 1st time Mom to Be ! I'm in a very supportive relationship with my extremely significant other, Rick (or as my mother calls him "Pretty Ricky" lol). We've been dating for 4 yrs and this our absolute first ride on the baby train (Yippee). ....I find it easier to just list facts about myself vs putting my biography in paragraph format, so here we go....

* I'm Gemini, Ricks a Leo and we're having a little Libra , lol

* I have an older sister and younger brother

* Both Rick and I are PK's (preachers kids)

* I went to Virginia State University and was a Biology Pre-med major ...wanted to be an OBGYN my entire life !

* I now work as a retirement plan rep for an investment firm

HI LADIES.. IT'S INDY. I'M HOME. AFTER A REALLY BAD SCARE. I STARTED TO DIALATE. PREMATURE LABOR.. OMGGGG. THEY GAVE SOME MEDICATION TO STOP THE CONTRACS. AND STERIOD JUST IN CASE I NEED TO B DELIEVERED. BUT FOR RIGHT NOW EVERTHING SEEMS TO B UNDER CONTROL I FEEL MUCH BETTER. THEY BABY IS NOT READY HER LUNGS ARE NOT DEVELOPED. THAT IS WHY THEY HAD ME TAKE THE STREROID. THAT IS MY FEAR. IF I HAVE HER NOW SHE WILL SPEND THE NEXT 8 WEEKS IN THE NICU. GOD IS GOOD LADIES,, CUZ I'M FEELING SO MUCH BETTER. THE CONTRATIONS HAVE REALLY SLOWED DOWN.. AND I HAVE STOPED DILATING.. I AM GOING TO CONTINE TO TAKE THE MEDCATION TO STOP THE CONTRATIONS FOR THE NEXT FEW WEEK AND GOD WILLING I WLL MAKE IT TO TERM,, WELL DEFENITLY NO SEX AND NO HEAVY LIFTING. I WILL JUST TAKE IT EAST FROM NOW ON, THANK YOU LADIES FOR UR PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS.

UPDATE: my mom is now in da hospital, shes 2 cm. they r keepin her. as u kno she is only 33 wks. she got a steriod 2 mature da baby's lungs & she is still contracting. she also got a medication 2 stop the contractions but da contractions keep coming
i'll keep u updated.seems like da baby is comin ssoon

HI LADIES,
I'VE BEEN HAVING CONTRACTIONS ALL DAY.. I JUST CAME HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL CUZ THEY WERE 5 MINUTES APART,, AND GOT SENT HOME OF COURSE, HAS THIS HAPPEN TO ANYONE, I AM ONLY 33 WEEKS SO I KNOW I AM NOT READY BUT AREN'T THEY SUPPOSE TO GIVE ME SOMTHING FOR THE PAIN OR MAKE THE CONTRACTIONS STOP. THEY ARE REALLY STARTING TO GET PAINFUL. AND I AM REALLY UNCOMFORTABLE,, THEY ARE STILL 5 MINUTES APART.. I AM NOT DILATING EITHER.. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT I CAN DO.. HELPPPPPP.

Ok ladies so I need help! Xavier turned 9 months old om the 18th and up until now we've been co-sleeping. Now that he's become a pro at flipping over and actually crawled (yes crawled!!) yesterday, the time has come for him to start sleeping in his crib. The problem is, I'm very apprehensive about this and am unsure as to how to switch him over to sleeping by himself. Do any of you ladies have any advice as to how to make this transition as smooth as possible?? Its amazing how fast he's growing! I know this change may not be easy but I'm also excited about the new changes. Any advice will be appreciated. I hope all of you ladies are doing well! God bless and I hope you ladies can help. On wednesday my mom and I stop by this baby boutique that we had been to two months earlier. I want to get this stroller called a bugaboo. When we where in the store my mom looked at me and said I can get the stroller or a crib. My mom bought me the stroller and a diaper bad. I have never heard of Petunia Pickle Bottom but the bag was really cute. It will be a week before I get the stroller since they have to order what I want. My little girl will come into the world as fabulous as a super model she is already a fashionista. I may be creating a monster already lol.

Hello Ladies! i hope everyone is doing well...Kenyon is about 5 1/2 weeks now and is doing great! He's smiling all the time and starting to make more and more noises everyday...everyone is just so in love with him...me and my fiance are getting married this friday and are super excited about things being official..only thing i'm dreading these days is going back to work in a couple of weeks on the 2nd of december! ugh!! but i guess gotta get back to the working world at some point..hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy..stay in touch :o)

Quick update: Kaiden and I are doing well. He'll be 1 month old on the 21st.. next Saturday. He's lost his umbilical cord stump and his circumcision has healed perfectly! Kaiden is 8lbs now and the most alert baby I know. BF is going well. He is nursing every 2-3 hours or whenever he's hungry. Awake most of the day..eyes wide open. And can now smile, laugh out loud and hold his up while on his tummy.

Me..I'm losing all my baby weight. I am 6lbs shy of my pre-preggo weight. My appetite is back. And I feel great!

Congrats to everyone who's had their LO, especially my homegirl MiSS Jen-aNd-LiL MiSS Active!
