Hi everyone. This is my 2nd pregnancy...but, it has been 8 years since my first so everything seems new all over again. My boyfriend and I are very excited to be having our 1st child "together" and apparently our last. LOL. Bryon has 4 boys with his ex, ages 12, 14, 16, & 19 and I have a 7 year old daughter Katelyn. We weren't "planning" or "trying" for this pregnancy, but...we weren't taking any percautions either, seeing I was aching for a 2nd child and he knew that. Bryon and I have only been together for 5 months, but we've known each other for 13 years. When I was 19, I worked for Blockbuster Video and Bryon was my manager. I had the biggest crush on Bryon and made my feelings known to him, unfortunately Bryon rejected my feelings (as he was in a relationship) and we continued our work relationship for about a year and then went our separate ways and never saw each other again.... Until on November 3rd of 2008, Bryon by accident found me on MySpace through a mutual friend. Bryon requested me as a friend, we talked non-stop for 4 days and on November 7th we saw each other for the first time in over 12 years and we well hit it off. Bryon asked me to be his girlfriend, we fell head over heel in love and a month and a half later, Bryon quit his job, moved 90 miles to where I live and now...we are raising Katelyn together and are now expecting this beautiful baby. We still continue to laugh over how this all happened. Life really is good and I am so happy!!!

Hello ladies! Jordan had his 1st doctor's appointment today and he is doing so well! He's growing. He was 6 lbs 7 oz at birth and today is 8 lbs 5 oz, and he grew 3/4". Everything is great with him, I'm such a proud mommy!!
I'm doing very well, too. I've kinda stopped bleeding but not quite. Now I'm just nervous it's all going to hit like last week and I'm going to have all the menstrual symptoms that suck. But I guess I have no choice but to wait and see. I've started to work out again, but very slowly. Only 30 minutes of cardio, max, and very light weights. I can't wait to get back into it full on.
I can honestly say I do not miss being pregnant at all! I know a lot of women miss being pregnant but not me! I can sleep on my stomach, and roll over at night without having to hold my stomach, and I don't pee every hour!! I love it! Plus I love having my little boy in my arms rather than my tumtum. AND no heartburn, yay!! That was a silent killer!
Anyway, I hope all you new mommies and your little ones are doing excellent. And all you mommies who are still pregnant, keep healthy!

Hey Ladies, I'm at the hospital. The did 2 doses of the gel last night and guess what?!?! It worked- a little. I dilated to 2cm!!! Woopie! Next step is to break my water!

Lazarus Kole McEwen was born on Nov. 14th at 5:10pm. VBAC was unsuccessful. Birth story is up. Will post a couple pictures. Hope everybody is doing well. My new little one is a joy.

DJ is 3 weeks old and he will not sleep in his co-sleeper/bassinett. It pulls right up and is flush with the bed, so I can touch him for comfort. But the only way to get him to sleep through the night (w/2-4 feedings a night) is for him to sleep on my chest. I have tried letting him fuss it out a bit, but he ends up fully crying. I have tried putting a heating pad in there (the pediatrician recommended that one) and even put a clicking clock on the side for him to hear it. I DO NOT want to sleep with my baby, but it's the only way I can get a few hours of sleep. Even then thought I am not fully sleeping. Does anyone have any suggestions? THANK-YOU!!

Quick Update: Yes, I'm still pregnant. Went to doctor's today and he thinks my heart-shaped uterus + long cervix is why I can't progress but, I want to give mother nature a chance- I told him I didn't want to induce again (too painful ). He said that's fine for now as long as my blood pressure remains good and if she has enough fluid. So, we did an u/s and yes, she has plenty of fluid and hasn't really dropped much but, is in the position to come out. The u/s tech said she has lot of hair! And, that she's not too, too big. The doc. said if baby isn't here by Wed. then, we must induce again and if that doesn't work... c-section (which I'm totally OK with) Tonight's inducing try: bouncing on gym ball for hours {and I'm NOT kidding}

hey, im going through the exact same thing!! but unfortunatly i decided to give up yesterday. My nipples are bleeding and i was given the cream too , and i loved have my beautiful baby girl latched on to me, but it was too hard. I felt like a failure because i cudnt cope with the pain, but i feel good that i have made the decision to stop. good luck. xx
