Wednesday, 30 April yeah i agree.. with the actions of the baby.. when you were at 24 weeks did you have hours go by that you didn't feel the baby? Or one day kicks stronger then the next? I need some advice on that because THAT is whats freaking me out. Nicole2216 -
Saturday, 26 April Thank you!! I swear this is the most stressful time of my life. lol. How is your preg so far? JoDR -
Wednesday, 2 April Hiya, just to let you know that I have only being feeling movements for about a week and it all started with little pops/pulsating movements like you are describing so I'm sure they are movements. Take care. Jo (JoDR, nearly 22 weeks)) woopsiebaby -
Wednesday, 2 April Probably the hiccups! This is my 3rd and she moves and kicks like crazy, but it's different for everyone. Soon you should really be feeling some good thumps. Hiccups are quite common to feel now as the baby starts to swallow amniotic fluid. Good luck to you! Mercer -
Monday, 31 Mar it sounds to me like you're feeling your baby. If you're pretty certain it's not gas, which is a really different feeling in my opinion, and it's a thumping feeling - sounds like baby! Try drinking or eating something really sweet and then waiting like 30 minutes, then just be still and see what happens. My little girl always moves a lot about 30 minutes after I eat something sweet. Good luck! MommyXs3 -
Monday, 31 Mar Hi!:) Just wanted to drop in and let you know that I didn't feel my daughter move until I was almost 24 weeks the first time. The moms that feel them so early are usually 2nd or 3rd timers. Not all, but most. I think the thumps could be movement. The 'butterfly' effect is usually earlier on. I don't think you have anything to worry about. As far as the pulsing...I sometimes can feel my entire body pulsing with my heart. I think it's nerves or something..lol. But, I've been told it's normal so, I'm not worrying about it. If you're concerned..ask your Dr. They've had stranger questions I'm sure and they expect new moms to ask. Good luck and CONGRATS!!! :) X-baby-bump-X -

Thursday, 27 Mar Hello, no problem, I was happy to share my experience with you because I know how scared I was when I was going through it all. I'm really happy to hear that you're feeling much better. Do you know what you're having? I just found out I'm having a boy. I'm happy but surprised, I was certain it was a little girl! Take care. Ellie. jenn8808 -
Thursday, 27 Mar I wanted to comment on what you wrote the other day in the Movement forum... I am almost week 21 and I barely started to feel regular flutters... they don't feel like butterflies, bubbles or popcorn to me.... it feels like a quick muscle twitch or spasm to me... kelly714 -
Tuesday, 25 Mar I put my little boys anatomy up on my page and everyone had a look to help me confirm that its a boy, noone seemed to mind at all, so go ahead and put it up! My pic is really big my page too, I need to make it smaller, anyway, I didnt get any negative feedback. Lots of ladies put them up :) lelak -
Monday, 24 Mar Hi,
I just got your message thank you very much for the input.
they told me my chances are 1/14, that means 7% there is an abnormality and 93% the baby is fine.
I had a L2 Ultrasound and they said everything looked fine. I don't want to do the amnio, but I'm still confused. I can't do anything anymore but think about this, I couldn't even work today I had to leave early, I'm driving myself crazy, I just need a peace of mind, and unfortuantly I don't want to do the amnio....

Monday, 24 Mar I know that when I was PG with my first I didnt feel him much and I didnt feel him for a long time either. Maybe the little heart beat feeling could be him moving but it could also be hiccups. Even this PG I dont think I felt much movment at 20 weeks. So give it a few more weeks. rosie08 -
Monday, 24 Mar I am pregnant with my first baby too, so I didn't really know what to expect regarding movements. I wasn't really feeling anything definite during these past few weeks either. I'd say within the past 3 days...I am starting to feel a few 'thumps' here and there. Hope that eases your mind a bit :) trinityjade -
Monday, 24 Mar Hello! Congrats on your pregnancy! I totally know where your coming from about the fetal movements thats exactly how I described it, I wasn't sure if I felt him moving or not. That is him moving though , couple weeks and you'll really feel it! sassybuttaphly -
Monday, 24 Mar I first felt my baby when i was 17 weeks. now he moves all the time. vikki -
Sunday, 23 Mar I saw your post, well I don't think you've got much to worry about either. The results seem pretty good. We all must remember that these tests are by no means acurate, NO MATTER HOW MUCH the Dr's insist they are. I had a close friend that was told after THREE tests that her baby WAS D/S and was being presured to 'do something about it' from her now ex and her Dr and midwife. She refused and insisted that she knew in herself that the test was wrong, which is why they tested 3 times. Well her beautifull PERFECT baby girl was born. NOT A THING WRONG! This is not the first time I've heard such a story. I think all these tests can provide is a possible heads up to a situation that may or may not occure, but then doesn't EVERY pregnancy mean that we are faced with these things?! Take heart in knowing that the Dr's ARE human and not Gods ( as cleaver as they are) and ENJOY your pregnancy. There is nothing to do but feel the thrill of that little person growing. Prayers with you. Kepp smiling as you are in your picture! :-) Vikki Caracaya -
Saturday, 22 Mar 1/9000 to 1/1400 means that your risk increased. It means you now have a 1 in 1400 chance to have a child with an abnormality. However, 1/1400 is VERY low. You have a much less than 1% chance of that occuring. It seems you do not have to worry, according to the tests. The only thing you might worry about is your messed up doctor situation ;) Leave a message for frogmom in the right column where it reads `Add comment`
